God I miss this buggy nightmare of a game. Haven’t played it in about two years since my laptop decided to stop running it. Your videos are making me want to buy some components I can put into my laptop so I can play Star citizen again. Thanks for bringing me back to watching this game

@@CaptainFlynn117 I honestly think "those pvp obsessed people" (which I am not belonging to) have more to do than we more pve oriented folks. I'm serious. Seen a bunker? You pretty seen them all (same goes for the copy pasta distribution centers). Done Bounties? Yeah, they put in more ship variety, but it still all is the same same. Deliveries? Mh-hmm... if they actually work and don't bug out on the last box. I know I'm ranting, but I've been ingame pretty much every day for the last 1 1/2 years... and things get old pretty fast. And that says someone who's coming from the MS Flightsim side of life (where there's no real missions at all.
My point is: there's nothing to work for... except money to buy ships. But after you flown them all, after you know every corner of them all? Sadly this game still is a huge pile of shiny eyecandy with not much gameplay in it.
But don't let me pull you down. I rather hope my spark will ignite again, hopefully soon.
Never tried star citizen ever but, watching flynn just stare at the sunset and be mesmerized is making me wanna play this game
What makes it so amazing for me personally (besides the fact that I love sunrises), is that it’s happening in real time, on a solar system sized scale. When I was a kid I could only dream about experiences like that

If you like the space golf cart, you will love the Barbie space Jeep AKA STV graycat. Great for bunker missions. I hate parking outside the turrets range and having to run all the way up. It's a great luxury to have
Shes not my favorite ground vehicle, but she is great and fits in nearly everything. My heart is split on this. In general use, the Mule fits 2 SCU + 6x¼SCU and fits in MANY vehicles. On the other hand the Pulse fits in silly spaces like the Aurora internal space, Mustang Alpha container, or even an F7C MkII.

why ur game looks more fun :( I bought this game a few days ago and I had a rough time trying to just play the game normally, the bugs and mainly the servers are really unstable, I can't do a lot of things because of the server. I just used 45 mins just to find where Cave27N is and my ship suddenly exploded on its own 😭 But anyways i love ur videos. i love the vibes in ur videos, chill and fun to watch. Looking forward to ur next upload 👍

ive just ordered a new pc and im thinking of downloading and having another go at star citizen my current computer barely get 30 fps on planets, i would love to get involved in some stuff like the crew videos you do, im looking forward to seeing if my new pc can run the game hopefully can find a group like you play with and get into some cool space adventures

I... Kind'a want to get into this game, and have been contemplating it. Downside is that I don't know anyone who play it, and I can't really find any definite information regarding whether or not this game is solo-player friendly. And I keep seeing videos about how everyone is pirating the ships of other players and whatnot, which kind'a keep me from wanting to play as I'm 98% sure I'd have my ship and gear stolen, crashed or whatever, leaving me with absolutely nothing. I really can't decide on what to do. :|
The game can be played alone and in my opinion pirates are not so bad. Star citizen has A LOT of bugs, so you need to be prepared mentally for stuff to not work. Rn the servers are not doing so good which multiplies the amount of issues in the game.
I can tell you from my personal experience that pirating rarely actually happens, at least to me, but I also take steps to prevent it. For your solo play question, this game is being designed with solo play in mind, the devs have mentioned it multiple times actually. Once ai crew members are a thing, that will finally be fully realized I think. You can always join a good crew also, we have about 170 people in our discord and they are always helping the new players that come in. But solo is actually my preferred way to play. As far as losing stuff, this is just a test environment and nothing actually carries over to release. There will always be asshats trying to grief people, but that will sort itself out eventually I think
I've never been pirated in the game. No one would pirate you unless you have some valuable cargo and they can't really ambush you unless they are waiting at a high risk area, but that's why it's a risk you take. No one can permanently steal your ship, and if you would become stranded and don't want to ask for pickup, dying in the game right now is very low stakes. There are many things you can do solo but the game is best approached with patience and not focus on min-maxing anything, you could lose your ship and cargo to a bug more likely than a pirate. Be open to laughing at bugs and not take stuff too seriously while the game is unfinished. Many videos might show insane group action, but you shouldn't go into the game expecting that, instead learn to appreciate small unique moments that the crazy tech in the game allows, go see places like a tourist, take simple contracts to get a piece of certain type of gameplay and maybe at some point those mechanics and game loops come together to create unforgettable experiences with other players. Also remember that pirates are not there to ruin your fun, they add stakes to other gameplay loops like the enemy team in many games.
Can totally solo, that's how i end up 99% of the time. Player interactions are few and far between unless you're in the more popular areas. it really just depends on what you're doing in the game at time time. Join a free fly event and see how it goes. Free fly events tend to be pretty hard on the servers though so lag is a real problem.

Bugs in an alpha is to be expected; if anything, I would go out of my way to break the game. I guess the next step is to browse ships.
