It's like watching your buddy play a game Some of the best time I've ever had were just watching my friend play Final Fantasy games I have no desire at all to play them. But I watched him play it for hours. Just continue doing what you're doing. You WILL get more followers, and you will never have to ask people to sub
i took a chance the other day and spent time w the vulture for a whole day. altho i could have made waaay more money conventionally. buuut, i wandered around finding abandoned ships at various places/ made a mill in that time and was chillin w some coffee and some good music.. i think there definitely needs more love for the stuff you can do that isnt combat. because it really shows how diverse star citizen can be without having to be another looter shooter.
That sounds like a good time! Some people worry so much about the meta that they can’t even have fun anymore if they tried. I agree, can’t wait for some more jobs to be fleshed out
Ping = spot unknow. Look at unkonw = rs need to be 2000, 4000, 6000 an so on. For each 2000 is 1 panel. Go to the unknown, when it dissappear you need to look at the signal strangh when you are at 70-80% you need to go slow and around 90 they start to spawn in.. Good luck 😊
I'm probably late to this party, when scanning look for signatures readings in multiples of 2000. As you find one and approach they disappear, around 4 to 5 k out mouse wheel up to raise your pierce, while maintaining signal, scan again for more a pinpointed result. Another place to salvage or mine in absolute peace is to search for the Aaron Belt, it orbits just outside Crusader's orbit. One way to find it is look at the coordinates of your position on the map. The third coordinate is distance from Stanton. The belt is around 20.18Gm - 20.35Gm orbit give or take. The belt is several bands so you want to hit the real dense one. You can tell by the sheer density of the asteroids. Sigs galore. QT from one destination to another destination so that it traverses just outside Crusader's orbit. Watch your map to estimate when to cut your power to stop warp at the right time to hit that 20.18Gm - 20.35Gm mark and you should eventually find it. If you see asteroids but not dense, you are close. You should be totally safe as you are in a totally random spot. Hope this info helps.
I got a vulture 2 days ago, been taking it out and my friend brings his freelancer max so I salvage on the vulture while he puts boxes away in his freelancer, then when we both have our cargo holds full we head out to sell the stuff and share the profit. Not sure how profitable it is to share between two person but it is fun and chill.
I mean, the ultimate goal is having fun and it sounds like you are doing that! I think multicrew mining and salvage will certainly be more profitable in the future, considering the reclaimer and mole/arrastra
Scan signals that are in a multiple of 2000 are usually panels. Once scanned, line up the pin, fly straight and slow towards it. Keep scanning, line up to the new pin placements as they drop. Eventually the pins will disappear, just keep going straight towards the last known location and keep your eyes open. When you can, strip that tractor beam off and install a second abrade scraper. I kitted my Vulture out with 2 x abrade and 2 x trawler scrapers.
even better tip, once you find a scan of 2000, put the pierc to the max and you will get exact pings to where the panels are and not just a mystery cloud
Salvaging is extremely relaxing. Sitting at the Commodity terminal for 30 minutes on a server thats slowly dying while praying for the Demand to go back up before the server crashes is frustrating.
I got the Vulture a week ago, love this ship and the whole salvaging process so much. My favourite part of Vulture must be it's cockpit, reminds me of those old 21st century combine harvesters. And it pays well, for me it was like 5-6 hours till I started seeing profit, that's insane.
You can put so much more crates in the vulture, almost 2 full loads in crates and a full load in the hopper gave me 36 crates in my cutlass black to sell. Only hassle is that you need to get outside of the ship, and fill it from behind while floating in space. Your pathway to the font will also be filled with crates so the on,y way to enter your ship is at the cockpit.
Thanks man! It's kinda crazy to think about, it's about 100 more than I ever expected to get lol Thanks for being there from the start and convincing me to upload more episodes, the support on this series has been insane
So with scanning, I found scanning at 75% PIERC (scanning for Electro Magnetic signatures) works best on panels, as you be told with the blue pin markers where they exactly are around the 7km mark. Now the other problem you need to deal with is to go to exactly where the blue pins are because the panels don't render in until you're practically on top of them. On top of that, if the server stability is crap, you might have to wait for a while for them to spawn in.
My favourite ship as far is probably cutlass black, but it's a hard choice, I love also Vulture, Tana, Raft (but mainly for visuals), Corsair, Cutter Rambler, valkyrie is also great. The Verse is full of avesome ships.
It is fun watching you figure out how stuff works in-character. I tend to be a bit stingy with pressing the subscription button, but your little in-character vblog series here earned on. 🙂 Also, besides the Langrange points and rings around planets, there are also the rings around the star. However, it might not be useful to go there with a Vulture or a Prospector. At least when it comes to panels, it tend to take some times to find them, and then it often is a cluster of several.
Hey thanks, I’m the same way so I appreciate it. Really glad you enjoyed! Good info too, I’ve been meaning to make my way to the asteroid belt. Maybe when I get a prospector
@@CaptainFlynn117 That was when I first ventured out into an asteroid belt. But, the bags the ore is stored in are very exposed, so each time a meteor exploded due to overcharging, I lost all I collected. But, that might just be me being too bad at mining. 😅
You need to now one thing. If you damage your Vulture badly, do not dock the ship. There's a bug with this ship that it cant be repaired so you'll need to buy another one. Yela is the best location to Panels and from there you can sell in Orison.
Also, if you were looking to min/max profits. You can stack around 23-25 boxes in the hold and then have another 13 in the hopper. I take all that back to the Lagrange station I'm based at and land inside the square of an external pad. Then I run inside and call a cargo hauler and fly that out to the pad. Unload the Vulture onto the cargo hauler and then store the cargo hauler and go back out for panels. If you take a full load of a culture planet side, you can get a little over 500k aUEC but you'd have to run back to the ship and unload the buffer/hopper onto the cargo grid. I prefer doing it all in one trip so I use a rented Cutlass or Freelancer or Andromeda and make that run until I have enough to buy my own cargo hauler.
@@CaptainFlynn117 it's the 2nd most lucrative path in the game. The 1st being bounties at VHRT's and ERT's and that's really only if you find vice, weevil eggs, or quantanium. One other thing to note. If you do the external landing pad unloading, you have to press "I" to bring up your inventory and manually drag the multi tool into your hand.
I think most Capitals/Sub-Capitals will remain hangar flair, backers are far to lazy and stubborn solo hermits, me included atm, the braggin rights and perception along with denial are usually brought to check by rebalancing of the game, and the obvious realization that you can't solo a large ship post 3.24......even now its nonsense.
That’s a very good point. Once ai crew members become a thing, solo hermits like us will probably be able to crew some of the larger vessels. It might come at a cost, and it won’t be as effective as real people, but it should be doable from what they’ve said
Not from panels, maybe from complete ships but i had the same not a tractor beam attachement and no way to craft it from the salvaged panels. You can only craft small containers full of smc, the ones you create with your multitool with salvage attachement.

When you start salvaging, press g for gimbal and it will move the salvage head and not your whole ship, makes it easier.

Yeah ikr there's so many, the cutty is a great choice though. It's a fantastic ship, first one I ever bought and I love it
Souble Abrades always. Just replace the 2 Cinch scrapers with Abrades and u can scrape each panel in about 2 mins

keep doing your thing man
Incase nobody said it. To find panels just use your scanner and look for signatures divisible by 2000
Sometimes I miss scrapping on the Reclaimer with my friends, now everyone is on the assassins missions
Oh man the reclaimer is a cool ship! That sounds like fun doing some multicrew salvaging
... Until the pirates find you XD
Psst go to HUR L2 instead. Also signatures need to be in multiples of 2,000. Only a couple minutes in.
Good to know thanks, I’ll try over there next time. Yeah I really need to start learning rs signatures
