@charleskemel9323 my rough guess would be to run the cable from the boot under the rear seats through the side trim of the car and then behind the glovebox and to the headunit

I’m actually in Thailand. My first one os exactly the same as yours. After 11 months the Ic board is fried. Couldn’t find replacements so I ordered Xtrons with DVD slot. Just had is for like 2 months. Can’t say if it’ll die out again though. Fitment from Xtrons is better though as there are virtually no gaps. It does cost more though.
It can't be exactly the same as this one as midnight Performance didn't even release theirs then. Yours probably looked similar because a lot of them use this OEM style design. Xtrons is ok but really overpriced
Anyone having any issues with the unit not playing audio from your phone. My will play the audio from the radio so the speakers are connected and working but it will not play bluetooth audio. I have the bluetooth audio on full with permissions on and everything is up to date.

What is the hvac adapter used for? I’m on the website trying to decide if I need just the head unit or the head unit with hvac adapter.

Why dose the company sell Harmon kardon extension cable an idea how to install them
If you have the Harmon kardon speakers you'll need that adapter to connect the headunit.

The initial setup you do do yourself but after the first time then it connects automatically every time

It's probably a setting on your phone then bro. Some phones don't let Bluetooth connect automatically as a safety thing

That's with the cheaper style one these guys do a higher end unit so the signal is strong even behind the dashboard

Carplay runs off your phone GPS anyway. It could also be the position of your GPS that's causing the bad signal
