I can’t believe it worked, it’s been three years that I was looking for a good recipe. I loved it!!
Thank youuuu
Fantastic; I’m so glad to hear it! Thanks for trying the recipe and coming back to share your thoughts on it. 💕
I like the frosting to be firm, because I live in Florida, where there is a lot of humidity and heat. I liked this recipe. ❤ Thank you!
This was so easy I definitely will use this recipe a lot.
This is awesome, It's really so great for Piping. It taste so good too! I can eat it by itself and with strawberrys 🍓 , that's how good it taste! This is the best whipped cream recipe I ever tried!
Best whipped cream I have ever made! Thank you! I highly recommend that the whisk, bowl and cream go in the freezer 30 minutes before you begin. This is a great recipe! :)
I'm making this tonight for my son's bday . I will put everything in the freezer now . Thank you
I made this for my Easter cake 😊 it was yummy. 😋 Thanks 🙏
Thank you for sharing and not gatekeeping this recipe. I almost gave up making cakes because of the icing melting every time.
Great work
Finally, an easy recipe I can use. Thank you so much!
Thank you soooo very much. Very helpful.
Thank you for sharing this recipe
Now i can go on and cover my cake easily with this recipe 😋, God bless you
Omgie!! Thank you so much, I tried making it yesterday and it worked! The whipped cream frosting stayed on the cake for several hours with without melting in the house with air conditioning on of course.
I’m so glad to hear it! Thanks for coming back and sharing your experience with the recipe. Much appreciated 💕
Great work
It was indeed helpful. Please consider a Cookies and Crème inspired cake for a recipe. I definitely will be using this information to make my whip frosting.
Sure I can relate to your "oh my expression"! My first attempt at a two-layer ice cream cake w/ homemade pipped whip cream I had my head in the freezer decorating it. I used cream of tartar to stable the whipped cream after experimenting w/ other methods. Learn from my experience it's best to have your choice stabilizing method perfected before attempting an ambitious new recipe. But the cake was beautiful and the family really enjoyed it. Thank you I'm saving your recipe!
I’m so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for sharing your experience 💕
Head in the freezer. LOL I can definitely relate. 😅
Thank you, the tartar and extra sugar helped with thickening the cream faster.
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching!
This is very helpful. I really can relate many times. Especially that we are living in a tropical country.
I’m so glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching! 💕
Love this!!!
Off course you help me a lot thanks beautiful ❤
Thanks so much.blessing
Thanks for watching!
I made this today amd it turned out perfect !!!! Ty !!!! 0:54
Very helpful..Can you please do a video on how to prevent fondant cakes from condensation when storing in the fridge..
I will try it thank you for teaching us
It’s my pleasure to share my knowledge with you all! Thanks for watching 💕
Wow cream of tartar !! Didn't know that thanks sweetie 😊😊
You are very welcome !
Finally found something great after lots of fails
Wow, this is very simple, and thank you for sharing and getting straight to the point, and looks yummy! 😋Just subbed and look forward to more videos 💕🤗
I’m so glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching and subscribing! 💕
@@AsiaCoffee Yes I did, and you're welcome; my pleasure! 😁💕
I tried out your Recipe and it was so yummy and light but not to sweet. Our family loves whip cream frosting but everyone I have tried to make it it always melted or slid. But today it never moved and stayed in place. My family loved it. I can’t wait to try it out again. This will definitely be my go to frosting from now on. Thank you so much for sharing.😊😊
Thanks so much for trying the recipe and letting me know how it worked out for you! I’m glad to hear that your family loved it and that this will be be your go-to recipe for whipped frosting going forward! 💕
How long did you make it prior to serving on your cake? Also how long did you have it out before it got eaten?
@@Joselyn112492 I made it couple different ways the first times. I used the recipe right away the first time . And had a bit left over. So I put the leftover in a ziplock bag in the freezer to see how it would freeze. It thawed nicely and used the remaining a week later on some cupcakes. Still tasted great. Then the other time I made the recipe I made it for my son’s graduation cake a day in advance and covered it in a glass bowl and kept in the fridge until I was ready to use. I hope that helps.
I have to come back and comment I love love love love this recipe ❤ thank you soooooo much
Thanks for coming back and sharing your thoughts on this recipe, much appreciated! 💕
Yummy 😋
Lovely cream
Thanks for watching! 💕
I used your recipe and my cake came out great😄😄
Thanks for trying it and reporting back! 💕 What flavor was your cake?
Did u realize that cream of tartar make the whipped cream sour or just me ?????
It's changed the whipped cream taste I tried it it's amazing by thickness but the taste so bad
I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an unusual taste… I’ve never had issues with this recipe, however I can imagine there would be a sour taste if you’ve used too much cream of tartar.
Sorry i commented under another comment i was reading lol. Can i immediately start filling my layers/crumbcoating once the cream is done whipping or should i place in refrigerator before icing
Thank you dear really helpful. one question. can i add bread improver to cakes
Thanks for watching! I’m not familiar with “bread improver”. Is this a specific product? Can you tell me more about it?
Anise great cake flavor for angel or white cake
Hi chanced upon your channel . The video info is concise, i use to whip both the heave cream and powdered sugar together , is that the problem for not having a stable frosting?
You can certainly just add powdered sugar to your whipped cream to stabilize it to be used as frosting. Continue to do that if it’s working for you! This video features the use of cream of tartar as a stabilizing option for those who are struggling with their whipped cream frosting. Great question; thanks for watching!
Hi love! If I’m using this recipe for pipping cupcakes, can I leave it out at room temperature? Thank you so much 🥰❤️
Hey there! You can leave the iced cupcakes out at room temp for about 3 hours after making the recipe. If you need more time, I recommend that you keep the icing refrigerated until it’s about 45 minutes before you serve the cupcakes. Pretty much ice them at the last minute!
I add a pkg. Of instant pudding mix to this to help it stay stable longer!
@@kathleensemelbauer2629 Thanks so much for sharing!
This is such a great recipe! Whipped cream frosting is one of my favorites and I made it well on the first try! 😋🌸 how long will this frosting last in my fridge in an air
tight container? Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks for whipping it up! 😁 The frosting should last about 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Do you know if this the same kind of whipped icing that they have on cakes in the store? I love that because they're not sickening sweet and so I've been trying to find the recipe for it. Thank you.
It’s very similar; a subtle sweetness. You may want to check out this store-bought whipped icing: ruclips.net/video/vQkzFIpTzhc/видео.html! I’m pretty sure this is identical to what they whip up at the grocery store. 💕
@@AsiaCoffee Thank you so much for responding so quickly. I watched your other video and Bettercreme sounds just like what I'm looking for. 🙂
What are some good designs for a one layer kind of flat cake?
I could do a whole series of videos on that! 🤣 Pinterest has tons of great ideas for flat cakes. Try searching “Sheet Cake Designs”. 💕
Hi! After storing in a fridge. Can I use the whippped cream directly on my cake or do I still need to use a mixer before putting on my cake? Thank you! 😊
Yes, use a mixer on low for a couple of minutes once you remove the whipped cream from the fridge. Keep an eye on the consistency of it before applying it to your cake!
Thank you so much!!!! I previously made whipped cream frosting and it melted. Do you have to have a chilled bowl? Or no?
You're very welcome! I did *not* use a chilled bowl in this video, however someone previously commented that using a chilled bowl is helpful. I you live where the weather is typically hot and humid, I would highly recommend it!
Hello, will mixing in fresh strawberries mess with the texture of the whipped cream ? I’m making a number cake and need the middle to pipe well , as well as the piping for the top design, Thanks !
Yes, mixing in fresh strawberries WILL impact the texture of your icing. Doing so will make is difficult to pipe. I would use the fresh strawberries as standalone decoration instead of mixing it into the icing. Best of luck!
you can crush frozen strawberry into smaller pieces and mix it with the cream
Yes, after it’s made! I recommend using freeze-dried strawberries instead of frozen ones. The extra water/moisture from frozen fruit thawing in the whipped cream may have a negative affect on it! Thanks for watching 💕
Hi ..I just bought the 473 ml (2 cups) of whipping cream so could I keep the rest of the ingredients the same measurements as you give or should I reduce them? Thanks
You should reduce them proportionally. Best of luck!
Can you add flavor to this? If so, when is the best Tim to incorporate the flavor?
Yes, you can! There’s flavoring already in this recipe; check the video description. I used vanilla extract, but feel free to switch it with another one.
It’s my first time to make whipped cream icing.
I gonna put half of icing to put separate colors
Good luck! You got this! 💕
How much is the cream of tartar?
1/2 tsp or 1-1/2 tsp (as per description...
Thank you for sharing ❤️
Hi there! It’s 1/2 tsp as per the description. Thanks for watching! 💕
@@AsiaCoffee thank you for your time
@@AsiaCoffee when I first read the ingredients, I was thinking 1 1/2 tsp as well but now I see you mean just 1/2 tsp.
Would you say this recipe is enough to cover a double layer 8 inch round?
Yes! Someone asked the same question a few days ago. Thanks for watching! 💕
Hello, thanks for the recipe, do we have to put the bowl and the whisk attachement in the freezer?
@@karenkanagisa6470 Hi there! No, you don’t have to put them in the freezer, BUT I find that it helps the cream whip up better/thicker. Thanks for watching!
I want ask you when I used food gel color in wippe frosting after couple of hours colors get spread can you plz tell me why it happen
Sounds like the colors are separating from the ingredients in the whipped icing. All you need to do is stir the icing to spread the color evenly. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Once I made my cake and decorated with this recipe. Will the frosting roses keep its shape in the fridge?
Yes they will!
@@AsiaCoffee Thank you so much for replying! Appreciate it!!!! 😊
Risk turning it into butter? I'm sure it is very tasty butter. :D It might be a good use for any cream I have leftover. I could have the kids help me make butter in a jar. I know where my marbles are!
I look forward to making this recipe.
Can unflavored gelatin help in making it more stabilized so I can still use whipped for a more complex decor (instead of buttercreme)?
not sur if this is gonna be helpful now, but to answer your question: yes. However you will need to make and use the whipped cream immediately to decorate since once it's refrigerated the gelatin will set.
Yes you sure can
Hello! Thank you for this great recipe! I was wondering... How long does it take when you whip the heavy cream by itself and then when each ingredient is added? Also how many minutes total should you whip please? Thanks!
Great question! It really depends on the speed of your mixer. Mix at low-medium speed and keep a close eye on the cream, paying attention when it starts to thicken! Thanks for watching 💕
Question please, Can I add cocoa powder? Thank you in advance!
You can test it out and see, but I’m not 100% certain of the outcome.
Can this be used for a cake filling?
Because this icing is so soft, I would only use it to fill a two-layer cake; no taller than that. Thanks for watching!
Is there anything I can use instead of cream of tartar? Thanks👍🏽
Edit: nevermind! I looked at your other video explaining I could use jello powder 😜 thx 🙏🏽😊
Fantastic! Thanks for watching 💕
Hello great recipe! 💕 is there a way this frosting can be chocolate flavored? Thank you ✨
I would imagine you can, however I've never tried it before. If I were to guess at making this chocolate flavored, I would melt down real chocolate and allow it to cool to below room temperature (but not harden) before mixing it in as a final step. *_If anyone else is reading this and has made chocolate whipped cream frosting before, would you please share your experience?_* Thanks for watching!
I have added a box of chocolate pudding to it - I would think that cocoa powder would also work but might make it grainy.
@cindys2995 Yes, adding cocoa powder would make it grainy. How did you add actual chocolate pudding or chocolate pudding mix? Did it taste chocolatey?
@@AsiaCoffee Pudding mix from the box. It was okay - it does slightly alter the taste, but not terrible. I found that it made it way more stable. The plain one didn't alter the flavor as much.
Will this recipe hold up for cupcakes? I want to pipe a simple swirl of whipped icing on each cupcake and, can I do this the evening before or should I wait till the day of? Thank SO much for your help.
Yes, this will work for cupcakes! I would recommend piping the swirls the day. Thanks for watching! 💕
Thank you so much and wish me luck! Whipped frosting has always intimated me...eek
Yes, best of luck! I believe in YOU! 🧁
@@AsiaCoffee The cupcakes turned out perfectly!!! This recipe made enough for 2 dozen cupcakes and I still had extra frosting left over. THANK YOU!!!!
@@veronicacortes3677 I’m so glad to hear that! Thanks for letting us know how they turned out! 💕
Cream of tartar left a gritty texture.
Thanks for commenting and sharing your thoughts on the recipe! I’m not sure why your frosting had a gritty texture, but that’s certainly not the intent. Perhaps try again and whip a little longer to better incorporate the cream of tartar.
hlo
can i freeze fresh whip cream frosted cake before decoration
plz reply
thx
Yes you can!
The wipped cream i have has already sugar in it do I need to add sugar in it again
No, you don’t need to add any extra sugar. Thanks for watching!
Is this possible to do with a hand mixer? I don’t have one with a stand
Yes, you can do this with a hand mixer!
Am I able to decorate a cake with this frosting a day before needed?
Yes, but just keep the cake refrigerated until you need it! Thanks for watching
Hi were can i find the right measurements for this mixture? Thank you
They’re in the description. Thanks for watching!
Can you make this whip cream recipe to frost a cake in the fridge 24 hours before serving?
Yes, you can!
What’s the best food coloring for buttercream frosting?
For buttercream, I would recommend oil-based food coloring. However, gel food coloring is more accessible and produces pretty much the same result. Great question! Thanks for watching 💕
I'll be using this for ice cream cake, can this be frozen? Will it collapse once thawed?
That’s a great question! I’ve never frozen this frosting, so I would experiment by making the recipe, apply some to an upside down cake pan and freezing it. Please let us know what happens!
Can I use double cream instead? Thanks
Yes you can! Thanks for watching 💕
Is this dairy or non dairy whipping cream? Can i use the same method to use cream of tartar for non dairy whipping cream?
This is dairy whipping cream. Unfortunately, I don’t have experience working with non-dairy whipping cream, so I will let others chime in on this!
Yes it can be used for non dairy cream too.
Thank you for sharing!
If cream of tartar isn't readily available where I live is there a substitute I could try?
There are a few more substitutes in case cream of tartar is available: gelatin, more cornstarch, etc. This blog post gives more alternatives: sugargeekshow.com/recipe/stabilized-whipped-cream/. Thanks for watching!
@@AsiaCoffee wow awesome article. I actually always have vanilla instant pudding around, this would be fun to try with that!
@@rachelpowers3975 Yes, do try it and let us know how it works out! Best of luck 😉
Is this the same thing as the "Elite" frosting from HEB?
That’s a great question! I’ve never heard of that product, but I bet others have. Where do you buy it? Let’s see if we can get more responses on this one.
@@AsiaCoffee HEB is a grocery store chain from Texas and they have a whipped-type of cake frosting (icing) you can request at the bakery, instead of buttercream. Sam's Club bakery also has it for their birthday cakes as well, but you have to request it also. Mostly, buttercream is used, which I don't care for.
Hi What if I don't Have Cream Of Tartar What Should I substitute for that?
I Googled it...
Lemon juice....
How much? Not sure.. Probably same amount?
@@anitajinfla9762 please is it fresh lemon juice and how is it used?
can you use corn starch in stead of cream of tarter?
No, cornstarch can’t be used in place of cream of tartar in this instance. Great question! Thanks for watching 💕
@@AsiaCoffee thank you but too late...I just made...wasn't as stiff as I'd have liked but added about 1/4 cup cream cheese...still not quite as think as I'd like but very tasty. Currently just iced & placed in fridge...thanks again!
What Happens if you leave out the frosting at room temperature? Would it melt right away?
No, this recipe won’t melt if left at room temperature. Because the whipping cream is perishable, you should NOT leave this frosting out on for longer than 4 hours though (for food safety). Great question! Thanks for watching 💕
Should we add sugar if the whipping cream already sweet? Because it is too sweet if adding more sugar and how substitute for the sugar to prevent too much sweet
If the whipping cream is already sweet (to your liking), you can reduce the amount of added sugar or remove it from the recipe completely. Thanks for watching!
Are you able to use this for an ice cream cake ? 😊
Hi there! I have never made an ice cream cake, but I don’t see why you couldn’t use this whipped cream frosting recipe for it. Let’s see if anyone else can provide a better answer!
Could i use 1 cup of whipping cream with this recipe because i am making this right now and I thought only 1 cup of heavy cream.thank you
Yes, but slightly modify the other ingredients proportionally. Best of luck!
Hey I tried it is turned out amazing thank you
@e.r8151 Fantastic! 💕
You need to chill the bowl and beater's especially if it's really warm .
If i use a hand mixer will it come out the same?
Hey Shawn! Yes, it will come out the same if you use a hand mixer. Mix on medium speed until you get the desired consistency/thickness. Great question!
It's me again 😂. Can I add chocolate unsweetened powder to make chocolate Whip cream?
Hi Shawn! I believe this is possible. You’ll want to add the cocoa powder to the heavy cream BEFORE whipping it the the proper consistency. Great question!
Thanks, I'm definitely going to try this recipe on my chocolate cupcakes.🧁
@@ICM2000 Cool! Please let me know how they come out. Best of luck! ☘️

It tastes a little bitter how do I fix that😊
Omg I'm panicking I wanted to try this for a cake due for pick up tomorrow my client requested whipped icing🥹
It shouldn’t taste bitter. Did you add the flavoring? Add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of flavoring at a time to taste. This will help!

Yes. It’s referred to as powdered sugar in the US, but it’s pretty much when you described. Thanks for watching 💕
Can you use a different extract if you want a different flavor?
Yes you can! 😊

Don’t whip it too long!
