Welcome to darkwave music, Sceez. Birthday Massacre, a band who has been around for some time but that I only discovered in 2020, is the perfect specimen to dive into this genre. I LOVE great synth music, have since the 80s, and what started with the "android ringtone" of Devo and Depeche Mode later evolved into the shoegaze subgenre of the early 90s. Now comes the latest incarnation, where the synths are soaring to atmospheric heights, and with Sarah "Chibi" Taylor's voice lilting over the top of it, it's like a perfectly crafted ice cream sundae for the ears. I'm going to see them in concert in May, and from what I hear, they are the coolest, most down-to-earth people you could meet. And yes, Sceez, there will be more TBM coming in future requests. (Sadly, it would seem, they don't really do videos for their songs anymore. This one, which came out in 2017, is the last one they did, even though they've released three albums since then.)
To be fair, even if they wanted to, diamonds came out during the pandemic so I don't think would have been able to. But I wish they did more music videos. But I still cherish the music videos they do have. I always test out compatibility with new friends on their reaction to blue music video and other of the older songs in general. Lol

I'm glad you felt the groove and really enjoyed the song. I can't pick a song as there are many rn to request. But I hope you venture more into them because the 23ish years of music, it'll be cool to listen to how their sound has changed while also sounding themselves. I like seeing people explore that. I'm glad you're receptive to new things even if something seems a little iffy at first. ❤
