They're amazing live! I've seen them play three times, which is definitely not enough lol! They're about to start their US tour, you should go because you will love them.
I love all of your reactions, Michal! You always articulate exactly what I am thinking! Fantastic! The Birthday Massacre is always incredibly consistent. They gave no filler songs, and everything they do has a tendency to stick in your head. If there is a band that you can trust to stick in your cd player on a long car road trip, this is the one! :) Also, cool melancholy lyrics about life and youth passing into decay and death.
Hi Michal, Canada's had a number of great vocalists over the years. Though for some reason, I keep thinking East Coast provinces (probably because of Sarah Maclachlan) when they're scattered all over like Manitoba's Loreena McKennit. Early 2000s it was the Montreal scene and now it looks like it's gone back to Ontario.
Whoever is requesting this is a legend because this band deserve so much more attention
Indeed!
Indeed Hermione, TBM is highly underrate IMO. My favorite band.

Great mix of guitars and synth, I like the vocalist's singing style. Very 90's ethereal/shoegazer scene - they're Canadian and not British?
Glad you liked it, Pugnacious! :) Yes, they're from Toronto, Canada.
@@mikeg.4211 Yeah they're great. The last act from Canada, I've listened to was some Beaches.
Seen them live like 7 times over the years. Endless, Oceania, and Shallow Grave are some of my favorites. :)
