The creature is the astral form of the Matriarch, the antagonist of the Apex and Abyss. You'll soon Britney dressed as her if you're doing a full listen of Abyss.
If u want raw and live i always suggest a video of her doing karaoke queensryche after a show in Edinburgh....shes just having so much fun its awesome to see
Great reaction. When I first discovered UTA I was skeptical that they would be as good in a live performance, especially Brittney's voice considering she openly admits to layering her vocals in production (cf. "The Brittney Choir"). But every time I watched a live performance video on RUclips I would just shake my head in astonishment muttering something like 'how the f**k can they be that good". I cant wait to see them in Brisbane in a week's time from now :)
Can't wait for the full listen of Apex. If you go to UTA's channel, hit the "Releases" tab and select Apex, it has all the songs in order, including Official videos, official lyrics videos, and official audio. It is such a killer album, and flows so nicely from start to finish 👌
Regarding a continuous story, the albums Apex and Abyss make up one continuous story, but it is not related to anything else in their catalogue outside of those two albums. Their most recent album Phantoma (amazing, you should check it out) is the start of a new story altogether.
Doing Apex beginning to end is 100% the way to do it! Too many people rob themselves of the full experience for the sake of reacting to just singles. It's one heck of an album! As a drummer, one thing to look out for it the drum patterns on Cleanse the Bloodlines. Listen to the way they change and repeat, I think you'll really dig that.
Apex is one of the best metal albums to emerge in the last several years. Every song is great. Starting with Awakening and ending with Apex... Every song in between is just as great as the others. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!
Great reaction, this album is soo great too.The Apex album started a story with the song Awakening, and the story finish is the last song of Abyss album (Afterlife) Good idea to react the whole Apex album, I think you will enjoy it. Their music videos are sometimes so crazy and not tell the story of the lyrics, they are just fun :D
Apex is a great choice. It's one of those albums you put on on a roadtrip and just lose yourself in the story, and freaking awesome metal. Brittany Slays.
Thought we lost you after Tonight We Ride 😅 If any UTA song will suck you back in, it’ll be The Wind That Shapes The Land. It’s even more epic than Awakening.
Don't jump to Wind that Shapes the Land. It's my favorite UTA song but part of what makes it so great is the buildup to it through the two albums. It's 100% worth doing a full Abyss listen after Apex.

That's good to know! After Apex, I can do Abyss!
So excited for a full play-through! There are some gems on the album that generally get overlooked by reactors because they don't have videos

Sweet!
AWESOME!! Can't wait for the Apex album.😊👍✌
Coming soon!
That was the Matriarch. You’ll be introduced soon. (Literally the song after Awakening)

After this one, I'm in for a full play-through.
Yes!
A full listen! Let's go!!! 🔥🔥🔥
🔥🤘😝🤘🔥
YEAH!
I'm up for a full Apex reaction and of course you'll have to finish the second half of the story with Abyss 🤘
Will do!
Apex is great but Abyss is a Masterpiece plain and simple. Either post the reactions to it or on your own time, its a must.

Where did they go? Probably into the Abyss...
Thought we lost you after Tonight We Ride 😅

Looking forward to that after the Apex album run through!
