Mohit Dagar You got the Dominar? I saw it on the road, it looks drop dead gorgeous. The pictures can't justify it's presence. How is the bike? refinement? Fuel economy? I want to exchange my fz-s to a pulsar or a dominar!
I was about to go yell at a dominar rider yesterday. He had stopped on a climb and the light (from all its 6 leds) was directly hitting my eyes. Didn't know they couldn't switch it off. Its a bad decision to keep the lights on always.
Always headlamp On is a norm now by the Indian Government. Europe has had it since 2003. all bike from 2017 onwards have to have AHO

I have a bajaj pulsar 200ns saffire blue 2014 edition and it's been almost 3 years with the bike ,the performance, comfort and looks are absolutely amazing . Bajaj just needs to improve upon its after sales services and repairing centers ,so that customer satisfaction is at the top of their priorities not just before the product is sold but also after it has been sold.
Also if bajaj gives more customisable options in 200ns like abs and fi people will definitely go for it even if they have to pay a little extra. Cheers to the new pulsar 200ns and PD army for bringing all the latest information about it to us.Thank you ☺👍👍👍
I'm owner of NS since last 5 years & all i have to say is only thing bad about it was stock tyres now with mrfs this bike is perfect in it's class abs is welcomed but fi is really not necessary because carb version does pretty good performance
Ns 200 i haven't faced any major problems just regular maintenance still my engine is in stock condition had some issues with battery but overall I'm satisfied with NS

I would not take any bajaj bike even half the price of fz25. Not even dominar.
NS has better top end, value for money and stellar looks .
FZ25 better acceleration, ride quality and resale value.
No ABS No FI ...i think its just not enough for such a long comeback of the bike

just sold off my first generation 200NS and bought RE Classic 500. But this buzz of return of 200NS tempts me to byy it again in graphite black colour!!! NS was the best bike in its segment and it will remain in future too....Proud ex-owner of 200NS😎

Powerdrift, you are not going to like this, but in Singapore the NS200 comes with fuel injection. I have one and spent 10 minutes looking for the fuel tank switch before I realised it doesn't have one. Its not needed with fuel injection.
I have had the bike six months (2016 version) and have done 4000km of city and freeway driving. It took it a bout 1500 kms before the engine loosened up and then it really has run better than I could have hoped for. It pulls away really well even with my 105kg on it and the brakes are plenty strong enough. It is quite agile and I find it easy to weave through the traffic on it. The seat is pretty comfortable. My main grumble is the stupid position of the footbrake. If you are tall (I'm 6'3) your feet are bent at an impossible angle to cover the footbrake and the design of it doesn't allow for much adjustment (the stop light spring pulls the the tail light permanently on if you move the pedal). The indicator switch also gives no feedback and feels very imprecise. I like the bike and think it is a great starter bike and good value.
I was interested in upgrading to the Dominar but they have detuned it so much I won't bother even testing it. It is a very disappointing engine considering its KTM roots. The Honda equivalents leave it trailing in their exhaust fumes (cb400(X)(R) and Super Revo). Speed isn't everything, but pulling power is important in city highways. I find myself reaching for a 7th gear on the NS200 and look forward to just a bit more oomph.

Rtr 200 gives power from lower rpms and handles better than ns and ns gives power at high rpms choose for your liking.... I will go for rtr200 because bajajs quality of parts is not that great
what about average and long term maintenance cost??...
I think maintenance cost will be more in the case of bajaj..... My friends have this motorcycles and NS is just keep coming with parts change and other problems because of its low quality.... And rtr200 only has been about 6 months so I don't know how it will perform in the long term but so far there has not been any problems
I am riding this since 4 year and trust me guys this bike less maintenance cost with high mileage and super handling ... this bike unbeatable

NS200 is a good bike but still it gets only color or paint job .. not much new and some few add-on futures. in other hand Apache RTR 200 looks good, better, best and on paper RTR200 feels under power but in reality RTR200 can still match NS200

after all bajaj has got its way back as I own previous version of this bike I am happy to see it in market again the engine cowl makes it more sportier but old color scheme was more decent and I am also waiting for ABS version. of it ✌

As you mentioned ABS and FI were the main changes that were expected in the newer version, They are the points that give Apache 200 4V slighter upper hand.

I own a 2014 model ns 200 and no doubt, it is the best product that bajaj delivered to Indian market till now. But i was expecting at least an ABS update to it in this 2017 model. without ABS it is too risky to push this beast to its limits in Indian conditions. it is really sad that bajaj wants its users to take too much risk to experience the full potential of their product. technology wise it never competes with an apache 200(ABS,FI,Cornering), competition comes down to only on design,looks and the top speed(Apache lacks 6th gear).
I'm very happy to see it again with a new colour scheme. I wish the ABS and FI could have make this bike perfect and top among all this segment.

Good for Bajaj: keep it simple, no ABS, no FI. Classics bikes trough history were the simplest ones..
