- Johnny Depp's attorney told jurors that six days after Amber Heard last saw Depp, she showed up at the courthouse to file a temporary restraining order with a bruise that "mysteriously appeared" despite having not seen the "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor for nearly a week. The attorney also noted how much media he said Heard made sure to have at the courthouse when she filed. Depp has sued his ex-wife for $50 million dollars, arguing that her allegations of abuse ruined his acting career.

Well, his one ex did talk about how he was extremely jealous and he would question her at length about who she was with etc. She never said anything about abuse though. So the worst thing is his jealousy, from the one ex who had negative things to say.
But everyone else has said that their experiences were not at all like these.

Facts. Similar happened to an acquaintance of mine. His baby momma heard that he had; (moved to the same state as his kid), and instantly filed an abuse charge with a whole story. We had documented evidence(cameras), that he never left my property. Cops don't then drive an hour back, and book her for false claims,..yet they showed up at his location ready to arrest him. Sound 2 sided?

If she took counsel from legal _counsel_ they could have won this case arguing that she is the physically violent one but Johnny emotionally abused her, and legally she could have won on these grounds alone as she did in the UK; however, her nature doesn’t lend itself to sticking to the plan. Now she has sullied their personal and professional reputations and made the practice of law into a circus.

Not a survivor myself but my mother is by the hands of my father and let me tell you, when Turd showed the picture of herself with the "black eye" and "broken nose" I was livid. When my dad headbutt my mom and broke her nose, the bruises were dark and purple and spread across her cheekbones. No amount of makeup could hide that and in videos of her around the time of the alleged incident, she is perfectly capable of fully moving her face muscles without pain.

I suffered DV since a child, my father was an abuser. As an adult I went through it again. I believed her when she said his personality changes according to what drug he is on, because my fathers and exhusband personality would changed too when they were under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. But after hearing all the audios I changed my mind, it feels like she is lying because that's not how one would act when you are genuinely afraid for your life. To this day I am still afraid to be around drunk men.

Right, my 71 year old wife who i care for full time, and who has now been diagnosed with psychosis and dementia and is finally getting the right understanding and medication, had psychotic imaginings of me doing terrible things. 3 groups of mental health workers (who i expected to help) chose to believe her when i was desperate (we were both traumatised by her absurd imaginings). She was violent. including when i was driving. They abused me and i was driven to the brink of suicide and nervous breakdown. Finally after 16 months of MH input and extreme trauma for me, a psychiatrist and team manager (both female) saw the light that should have been obvious to the other professionals, as they had been obvious to doctors and the counsellor i was referred to. Now my wife is placid, her true kind self, appreciating that i stuck by her despite all i went through and care for her. But i will never forget or forgive how i was treated and i know it was because i'm a man.
In those 30 years never once was Johnny Depp associated with DV to my knowledge. His reputation destroyed in the fact that the accusation cannot be unheard. A seed of doubt that cannot be undone...restored.

In a courtroom defending himself against one of the worst actors i ever seen testify.

Thankfully this trial has no matter the outcome saved Depp. Millions of people are cheering him on and if he retires from film, he has his band and his music and worldwide support. He has already won, but it might be the ultimate triumph if his lawyers are able to utterly demolish Heard on cross examination. Either way, Depp is back. All this support will help his mental health and career, again, no matter the outcome of the case.
Depp is not only known as an A-class actor with immense talent, but he is a kind person. He is always doing good. He raises money for charities and he dresses up as Jack Sparrow at children's hospital bringing joy to the sick and weary as well as bringing hope. He enjoys brining goodness and kindness to others. He overcome his struggles and made something of himself and made a difference for others. I support you Depp. I know what it is like to be surrounded by narcissists who wish you harm. There is light at the end of this tunnel and in God all things are possible. 🙏 pray and I'll be praying for you
As much as I' be inclined to believe he could have used his acting talent to convince a jury of whatever he wants, he seems very comfortable with admitting to what he has done wrong when he has done something he shouldn't have.
He also seems focused on speaking clearly and being polite, so that his stories are well understood, unlike the defence who ramble like they are trying to write a paper with a minimum word count and ran out of ideas already.
To some degree Depp is probably aware that his talent could be leveraged agsinst him, so he's beung cautious if that. Nonetheless, his commitment to neutral matter of fact speaking and ability to admit wrong doing is a massive contrast to the way Heard testifies. It is much more in line with the way we have seen abuse victims in ither cases report on the traumatic events of the past. Its painful to re-live, so they give account is a matter of fact tone to try to avoid the emotional toll it takes on them. Contrast with Heard's testimoney, where she regularly pauses mid story to recollect her emotional state at the time, and then over acts if for sympathy.
A victim of abuse A) doesn't want sympathy, instead preferung justice ir at time vengance and B) knows the facts of the event are bad enough that people will at very least empathise with the fact it was painful if not having some sympathy for the victim.
We need to see Heard's emotional acting first hand, because the fact of the accounts she is giving are unreliable at worst and irrelevant at best.

Her lawyers must have become depressed by her actions lmao. JD was clever and sued her for economical damages only yet she was smart enough to sue for mental damages so she opened the door to be interviewed by a psychologist hired by JDs team (and what a testimony it was Dr Curry nailed her personality to perfection), then they came to an agreement to not mention past relationships yet she was smart enough to mention his Ex in the stand, now doors wide open for her abusive behaviour with her exes... This woman can't even follow simple rules because of her personality, its just amazing.
This isn't just a defamation trial Johnny is standing up for every dude that's ever been falsely accused of abuse. And hopefully make some of the crazies think twice about spilling lies.

What’s strange is I usually would believe someone if they claimed DV, but when these accusations came out years ago I had no doubt that he was innocent. I’m not sure why. Then when I saw Winona and his other ex come to his defense I knew something was up.
I remember an Instagram account I followed posted a pic of him (it was an account that would post pictures of people from the 90s) and everyone in the comments was telling off the account for posting an “abuser”. They were threatening to unfollow the account if they didn’t take down his photo. It was wild. It effected him in every way on every scale, even something as small as someone posting a picture of him on social media. wtf Amber.

What are you asking? Objections can be made during opening statements, although they are rare. The video cuts off during the side bar, so we don’t get to hear the ruling.
There are such things as improper opening statements. For example, you can't say "he took a polygraph" during a trial so if you say it during opening statements it would still be improper. EDIT: in this case, they objected to the attorney saying "no one had ever accused Mr. Depp of being violent with a woman." But the judge allowed him to say that.

Surprisingly these videos and recordings only show Depp suffering due to Ambers actions. There’s no way she can win! She needs to be kicked off of Aqua Man and have some sort of criminal charges against her for false claims and stealing from Mr. Depp!

How in the world could the defending attorney object to the statement that JD had children? They are showing their incompetency throughout the entire trial. As a juror, I would be immediately suspicious of Amber’s claims just by how the defending attorneys have objected to factual information.

My heart aches for Johnny. As he looks down - we get a very brief glimpse of his face. HIS EYES. We cannot assume it's because he still loves her. The majority of (childhood) abuse survivors know and understand the pain on his face -- it makes me cry.
I think that love is gone when she pushed him too far, but he certainly feels hurt and disappointed for being cheated by someone he loved.

After watching this trial, regardless of the outcome, I will never watch Aquaman 2.....and I mean never. Like I get the idea, but I would still rather have a jury of judges that will use experience to decide whether someone’s guilty. It can be just as corrupt if you’re unlucky, but at least it will be less personal.
