I watch a lot of Marco's videos too and always try to learn from him. But I always found them a bit complicated for me to use since I was still pretty new when he got me into the game. But you definitely simplified this for everyone that couldn't quite get his videos yet. Thanks man.

Neil Cody He was so right about not only saying that, but the way he put it. I ran into a guy who gave me some tips. Had been struggling w/ DZ Elites due to their armor. I was using a Exotic Tommy Gun due to the high *DPS* overall. He straight said “Nah fam, that’s not good at all, DPS don’t mean shit, you want basically a LVOA-C or LWM4 as they shred that armor away.” Gameplay totally changed after that & my confidence.

Thanks for the vid, after watching I sold and deconstructed alot of useless weapons and gear and redid my build focusing on health/stamina to stay alive longer and put all damage causing talents on my weapons.....this build will suffice until I’m finished collecting all the classified striker gear.

Excellent video! You explained everything well and concise. I learnt the hard way through trial and error but wish that a video like this was done 2 years ago. I usually run with a house with deadly responsive and unforgiving for up and close wet work while the M4 AR with prepared for more mid distance action. Use to run with a G36 and a Mp7 in the early days. M700 occasionally when a sniper is needed. Again good stuff!! These days I run a striker 7FA 6ST build but use reclaimer a lot for incursions or legendary when checking the randoms build

Very nice video, thank you! I played The Division back in 2016/17 but completely forgot about it in 2018... now I started playing again and it’s amazing! So many new features and patches, it feels like a new game. But it was hard for me to catch up on the new gear meta. However I am now at a gear score of 281 and pretty happy with my loadout considering how quick I obtained most of the stuff :)
Really clear and concise videos. Love to see some builds, like I don't really know how to do a 6/6 effectively or 9k stamina. I play mainly PVE but want to get more into PVP but need to get a build that gives me a chance to compete.

First video of yours I have seen, well done. Though I might be able to make a case against your argument in certain and specific circumstances, this is a great guide. I've been playing since the closed beta, and have seen weapons come and go in and out if the meta, but talents and "fire rate is king" have stayed, for the most part, a constant. Keep up the good work.
I tried to keep it simple yet informative. I can remember back when the LWM4 was shit. Now it’s the king of the hill. I can remember when SMGs ruled them all then went to shit only to come back to being amazing again. Glad to know my simple break down stayed on point.

haha... I just watched this but earlier this afternoon I told a guy who was headed to the optimization table to do his weapons first; he wanted to optimize his gear. I literally told him the exact same thing you said here. Namely, "you will use a lot of your weapons across multiple builds". I'm glad that made sense to him because he ended up optimizing his weapons first.
I like your no nonsense way of talking about this shit, and I hope it makes a dent in the thought process of people playing this game. My favorite PvE gun talents are:
non skill builds: Predatory, Destructive, Determined (bottom slot)
skill builds: Talented, Competent, Determined (bottom slot)
Get your 5pc Tactician gear set on with a Relentless backpack and start blowing shit up proper; fun as fuck.
Hope this further helps the newer players out there. ;-)
