Little known secret that people who have never watched women's basketball don't know. But for the longest time (this has changed now) your average woman basketball player was probably a better shooter than your average nba player. Ive always suspected that this was due to the fact that they really couldnt focus on bigs and dunking and instead emphasized fundamentals more, which a lot of male basketball players could use.

I thought of Larry Bird an the Celtics 1980's offense with the High Screens for Larry with the screener rolling to the bucket. When the Iowa Post players set high ball screens an Clark has the ball and those post players roll to bucket, Clark hits them on the dime. Brought me back to the 1980s when Robert "Chief" Parish sets the high screen/pick and then rolled, Larry would hit him on the dime and the Chief would stuff it. Beautiful basketball to watch.

Maybe it's happening now to them what happened after John Wooden retired. UCLA stopped being dominant and it blew the door open for balance.
