Both are incredibly @ another level. She is by far the best all around player in college past and present. Swoops didnt have the level of competition when she played. LSU is a very good team loaded w/ talent but the stats dont lie. The Iowa team played a very fast paced game which IMO wore down the legs of the LSU players going into the 4th.

Defense helped tonight. In the third quarter , I counted Iowa making 8 straight stops on defense which allowed Iowa to take a 12 point lead. They scored enough on offense the rest of the way to hang on.

I have no problem with LSU's players -- i think the real contrast was Lisa Bluder vs Kim Mulkey; Bluder seems like she's most concerned with her players' overall well-being (look at how she kept Ava Jones on scholarship); Mulkey just seems like a bit of a jerk (look how she handled the fight vs SC).
Its just stupid how good Clark is. Those long distance 3's that hit the back of the rim is like dunking on people.
I know that it is hard look away from Clark and company, but I do enjoy watching the exasperated reaction of the LSU players every time they saw Clark put it through the hoop or get an 50 feet long assist.. It's not just Van Lith, et. al. who were trying to guard her, but even Reese's posture and expression was that of someone on the receiving end of massive body blows. She who laughs last . . .

I almost feel sorry for Van Lithe, there was absolutely nothing she could do to stop Clark. On the other hand, Reese failed to deliver on her hype. Great players show up, and she missed key free throws when those points were needed.
