Slightly better scorer, slightly worse passer. There’s an argument to be made either way, but it’s hard since we haven’t seen Paige at 100% in two years
She is on pace to break the all time collegiate scoring record next season (assuming she stays healthy). She also led the country in assists the last two seasons and is on pace to finish well inside the top ten all time in assists. And also gets a lot of rebounds for being a guard. She is the only elite recruit on Iowa, so the team getting to the championship game and taking out South Carolina is particularly impressive.
Whatever WNBA team she goes too, they need to hand her the keys to their offense. The league needs more entertaining players, and what better than a female Steph Curry. Even better if she's encouraged to develop her athleticism and start throwing down dunks.
Never watched women’s college or wnba basketball but this game was so good honestly Clark is really changing the game that anyone can play basketball reminds me of curry changing the game with 3’s

Thank you, Caitlin Clark for kicking South Carolina and their witch of a coach to the curb tonight. I wonder if the wailing and gnashing of teeth is underway at the Every Show Politicized Network yet.
Went back and watched the game again today. 1. Zia Cooke double-dribbled or carried the ball at least 3 times and was never called for it. 2. Early in the first period, Aliyah elbowed Clark intentionally and was not called for it. 3. On NUMEROUS occasions---too many to count---South Carolina players (especially #12 Beal and #10 Cardoso), camped out in the Offensive Paint for 5+ seconds with no call. 4. Aliyah clubbed and threw Iowa players around like baby seals, no call. If anything, the refs did South Carolina as much as they could. And Carolina still lost.
She's good , real good!!! Very unselfish player ! That Iowa Team looks like they've been on a mission this whole tourney 😳! Go get that Hardware and Kick the shit outta LSU !
Truly the women's game has been evolving and the skill set has rising for at least 5 years their tournament has been so entertaining especially the eltie 8 and final four so many classic games. Also no more dominant teams like the Vols or Uconn so you never really know who's going to win. Caitlyn is a beast as well can't wait to see her on the next level.
I started to really pay attention to the tournament a couple years ago, caught a bit of some years back as well, especially after Mississippi Stat defeated UConn the last time the Final Four was in Dallas (5-ish years ago). Maybe it's happening now to them what happened after John Wooden retired. UCLA stopped being dominant and it blew the door open for balance. There are things to improve yet, but as you said, the level has been rising for a little while. Good stuff
I don't know why I am watching this highlight for like the 8th time. If people don't know why she is so popular go watch this game in it's entirety. Yes there are a lot of factors that contributed to her popularity but her play style is by far the biggest reason. When I watch this highlight I don't care of she is straight or not, black or white, a diva or not, whether she had beef with other teams/players or not, etc... All I care about is watching fun, exciting, beautiful basketball and this highlight video is as good as it gets.

*She's way better than paige son. The state of iowa is ecstatic*
@@APerson-co7er worse passer? CC is the first player in NCAA history to 900pts and 300 assists in a season.
Impressive! A lot of those 3's were deep too! Man, these women are quick, rapid transitions. She singlehandedly controlled the game!
Czinano was incredible too, many plays relied on her movement
Everyone was talkin' all kinds of smack like Iowa was gonna get spanked! LMMFAO! GO HAWKEYES!
She’s a bucket making machine
She fr can’t be guarded 🔥🏀
Whatever WNBA team she goes too, they need to hand her the keys to their offense. The league needs more entertaining players, and what better than a female Steph Curry.
Even better if she's encouraged to develop her athleticism and start throwing down dunks.
Never watched women’s college or wnba basketball but this game was so good honestly Clark is really changing the game that anyone can play basketball reminds me of curry changing the game with 3’s
Clark is making me want so watch women’s basketball more what a beast 🔥🔥
This young lady is a marvel with the basketball. The way she gets her team involved with the assists her team feeds off her energy. I hope she wins it all tomorrow for the state of Iowa and all her fans/supporters and admirers. Win or lose I will be watching where she plays she is going to change the WNBA if and when she gets there. My favorite play in the highlight clip is the up and under fall away jumper over the 6'7 SC player masterful my god and so smooth! This is greatness and it needs to be appreciated she is doing things that haven't been done in this Final Four :)
Yo South Carolina looked scared 😂😂😂💯 she was killing them .
When you keep contesting shots and they’re still falling shits demoralizing
@@ChevyAndrew1 yup especially when you’re right on their ass and they’re still knocking them down.
she is unbelievable never seen anything like her she will change women basketball
This is one of the best games that I have ever seen. That was one of the best performances I have ever seen period.Thats why I love women's college B ball there is an element that u can't describe and I don't see it in NBA WNBA or men's college B ball.I hope it continues cause it is fun to watch
O yea she got us tuned in 🇯🇲🔥💪🏿
For a sec I thought I was watching Luka, this girl is beyond good, she literally plays just like him, never seen a female this skilled, nothing ever like her before.
wow, what an amazing athlete. very inspiring
I'm an older gentleman from Canada who paid attention to hockey an golf, but lately, I've been busy on utube wat hing this young talent bring basket ball to a whole new level of excitement. I can't believe it.
BEST WOMAN BASKETBALL PLAYER I THINK I EVER SEEN GRACE THIS STAGE ALL JOKES ASIDE
As a LSU and Angel Reese fan she scares the hell outta me one woman wrecking crew 😳😳😳
Thank you, Caitlin Clark for kicking South Carolina and their witch of a coach to the curb tonight. I wonder if the wailing and gnashing of teeth is underway at the Every Show Politicized Network yet.
Can't stand that racist Staley!
WOW 😮. What a player. So dominant
All of the fouls that South Carolina got away with boggles the mind.
Not only that, how many white jerseys were camping out inside the offensive paint for 5+ seconds and not ONE 3-second violation called..??
There were lots!
I can't believe she did it. I didn't give her a chance. Wow she really is amazing.
Shes giving SC Crazy work!!
2nd best female athlete named Caitlin/Caitlyn of all time
She’s going off man basketball is exciting again!!!!!!!
Class act, should ignore the trash talk. Can’t wait to see her in a 3 point contest
She's so f***ing good omg her passing is nuts
This was like watching Steph or Luka ..I see a star and a wonder human being .She got a new fan .
Everything screams Luka
Good stuff
Clark is a beast! Thank you for beating SC! Well deserved win!
This one player Caitlin reminds me of young Kobe, so much confident and no fear, way to go Carlin.
As Texas lore has it, Iowa rode into town with one helluva gunslinger who shot the lights out on the Gamecocks!!!
My girl don't watch basketball but was asking who this bucket getter was 🐐
Sure was on fire. Was fun to watch. Great video
This game was WILD🔥🔥🔥
I don't know why I am watching this highlight for like the 8th time. If people don't know why she is so popular go watch this game in it's entirety. Yes there are a lot of factors that contributed to her popularity but her play style is by far the biggest reason. When I watch this highlight I don't care of she is straight or not, black or white, a diva or not, whether she had beef with other teams/players or not, etc... All I care about is watching fun, exciting, beautiful basketball and this highlight video is as good as it gets.
Yes, this is as good as it gets. Everything you said is why I'd rather occasionally watch her old highlights rather than any WNBA rugby.
I'm a man and to be honest
this is the first time that a women's basketball player left my mouth wide open.
Awesome to see CC passing and shooting around Cardoso and an undefeated SC team like this. This is why us fans love her. She is just amazing and only going to get better in the W. I see great things in her future. 🤩
she deserves to win it all, I hope she does
That’s 41 points with an excellent defender glued to her hip the whole game.
They played 5 different players against her, trying to wear her down!
As a Tennessee fan , this made me feel so good!
1) She's really dangerous going left. But it's not her preference. I'd push her left as much as possible on d. Once she 100% masters left she'll be literally unstoppable. MJ didn't go left a lot in college either. 2) Her game reminds me a lot of Steve Nash in his MVP years. I hope she gets endorsements, stays injury free, and keeps her EGO up. I love her ego and swagger!
She's one of these rare girls that has the finesse and form of a man when it comes to shooting....it's beautiful to watch really😭
I've never watched women's basketball, college, WNBA or otherwise, but I legit want to watch this girl ball!
Clark is the Larry Bird of woman’s basketball
