Gabby Marshall is a monster on Defense. She sort of reminds me of Stacey Augmon in his UNLV days. Her pursuit and ability to go around screens to catch up to her responsibility is fun to watch. Great hands... reaching over to pester someone she's not guarding, while keeping tabs on them is fantastic. And... Out on the perimeter when she does get blocked out and has to switch up, it's calm, cool , and collected. "Hello 6'5", I guess I'll get in your mix for a minute." I do wish she'd pull the trigger on her shots just a little more.
The production value and quality of these sports event TV broadcasts are off the chart. The sportscasters are top notch, the filming is good. The various segments are very entertaining (team presentation by themselves, various photo shoots and highlight taken from games etc.) This is of the highest quality and frankly only to bee seen in the U.S. So people enjoy coz in most other countries basketball is a minor game barely shown on TV and if by any chance you would have it covered it would be just annoucing the game result late at night with maybe just 2 minutes shown. Not LOL.
Ruoco and Lobo should be First Team when it comes to play-by-play and analysis, they are really great together. As a matter of fact, IDK why Rebecca Lobo doesn't have a higher profile at ESPN, she has actual expertise and provides deep insights to the game. Lobo is not some poser, she went undefeated for a season at UConn and they retired her number for crissakes. ESPN is not what it used to be, it's much worse.
Iowa dictated this game offensively. Size matters, but at times, Iowa made South Carolina's size look clumsy. South Carolina missed way too many free throws and the 3 ball was not South Carolina's friend. For South Carolina to complain about officiating after the Maryland game is funny. Again, when you miss free throws and open 3s... u don't deserve to win. Caitlin. Clark did some of everything offensively. She scored at all 3 levels and she assisted on many baskets and plays. It spelled doom for South Carolina who finally had to pay for missing lay ups and free throws.
Carlos, I have to agree with most of your points, but just take a look at the remaining three Iowa players, held to single digit points, Marshall with ZERO. Coach Staley owned up to the turnovers but the officiating was just awful. Warnock was fouling Boston from the get-go.
@@RustyLou18 Marshall only shoots when she has open shots. South Carolina was afraid of her feet-point shooting and had a defender denying her the ball on every Iowa possession. That helped leave the middle open for Clark’s drives to the rim and her dishes to Czinano. Marshall’s stat line of 0 points is not that bad when she took only one shot and the threat of her three-point shooting opened up the floor for Iowa’s two highest scorers to combine for 59 points.
Iowa also did an incredible job of distributing the ball to the open shooters, adjusting to South Carolina's massive height advantage. It was a brilliant game plan by Coach Bluder, and fantastic execution by Iowa!

Watching this game over and looking at the box score it's crazy that Raven Johnson became the scapegoat for "poor outside shooting" when she literally shot 3-6 from 3-point range (50%) yet became the poster child of bad shooting because of Caitlin's wave off and Rebecca Lobo's early commentary about her poor outside shooting during the season at 21%. Well, let's see what happens today!
Didn't see Kaitlin Clark do one ring finger gesture. I saw nothing but respect for SC. I didn't catch this game when it was played so I wanted to see where at the end it was being rubbed in SC's face. It wasn't! Total respect for SC! They are a great team and can see how they were 36-0!
And it wasn't at the end. And when Caitlyn made the same. "u can't see me gesture" ... It was to the same team she said "shut up you're losing by 15" too
@@mzbatonrougebeauty5267 dude that was by design you dope. Iowa was squeezing the middle and letting SC horrible 3pt shooters take aim...and it worked out. It wasn't about "sagging on defense".

They need to develop shooters in order to secure more championship. And Boston if she remains need to get an elite veteran center to coach her on footwork and offensive plays.
There have been so many great women's college basketball games the couple of years that it's somewhat overshadowed just how big of an upset the Lady Hawkeyes' victory over the Lady Gamecocks was in this 2023 Final Four game. Iowa practically came out of nowhere and proved they were a team to be reckoned with in both 2023 and 2024. While they didn't win it all, that they made it to back-to-back Women's D-1 Finals games is still an impressive feat. #respect
My primary issue with Iowa is they used the same game plan against South Carolina against LSU. You cannot let guards walk into uncontested mid range jumpers. There was no Plan B, C or D from Iowa.
You're right, but there was also a lack of respect for LSU in that Iowa's coach announced before the game that LSU was pretty much the same as South Carolina but with maybe a little better shooters... so she pretty much was forecasting that Iowa expected LSU to struggle from the field. And LSU had struggled in other games. But LSU opened the season scoring over 100 pts over several teams. The teams were cupcakes, but Kim Mulkey is one of the best in the Biz... LSU turned Iowa into a cupcake. Caitlin Clark was amazing, but Iowa was no match for LSU in that game other than Clark. LSU defended Iowa better than Iowa defended LSU. LSU was going to foul Clark on layups and keep her out of the lane. They knew she'd make a bunch of 3s. South Carolina let Clark have it all. All three levels, plus assists... and they let Clark hibernate on defense
@@carlosdossantos917 Iowa’s coach comment can be taken two ways. The media has a driven narrative of disrespect for their agenda. If women’s college basketball wasn’t the most hate/racial driven league… the context can also be viewed as the coach acknowledging that LSU like SC is a superior team (Same type) with shooting threat. She showed a masterclass in coaching against SC, but “in my opinion” if Iowa played SC nine more times, they would lose all nine. The talent differential amongst these teams is too large. Congrats LSU, even though the media wanted Iowa to win cause of the Clark viewership and story, they came out on top.
South Carolina: spreading the ball around, playing team basketball, getting everyone involved. Iowa: Just get the ball to Caitlin Clark and let her iso
South Carolina was so boring in this game. Just throw up bricks and get the rebound. Meanwhile Iowa has an exciting offense. Yes it’s led by Caitlin Clark, but her assist numbers speak for themselves. I actually preferred LSU’s offensive style over South Carolina. Only SC bright spot for me in this game was Zia Cooke.
pretty sure you got that backwards. Zia Cooke played iso all game. SC only passed the ball because they just tried to pound it inside with no shooters so if they had the ball outside, they either took a low percentage shot or yes, passed it.. Iowa's buckets were primarily off assists... plus this game was won on defense by iowa. they stopped SC's gameplan, while SC didn't stop Iowas game plan
Once again, it has been proven that winning back-to-back titles is extremely hard. UCONN and Florida Gators were the last women's and men's teams to repeat.
So I think that’s about right They’d have likely made the tournament but not gone far A lot more inside work to Monika & Hannah Would have been very reliant on Monika scoring 20 per game mixed with some 3s by Marshall and Warnock But thankfully, Iowa does have Clark and will for at least one more year :)
Scores the last 14 points of the game, shoots 4 clutch game sealing free throws, that are all net against an undefeated team in a final four game. Enuff said. Well other than 41 points in a final four game.
That band before the last play from Clark, was like a march of doom for S.C. Oh my god it was phenomenal! Just so so grateful we could watch this. Repeat for the rest of our lives….lol🎉
Have you noticed that Cook played all four quarters with out a rest! No one hadn't said anything about that, but they talk about Clark! It was bad coaching for SC , she should have given Cook a little rest! SC coach had lost their game! When some of her main starters, wasn't pulling their load! Then she should have work her bench. They couldn't played any worse, Cook had needed help! She carried SC. Yes Cook came to play, she just didn't have any help, plus bad coaching!
Of course they are gonna talk about Clark she dropped 40+ in back to back games to beat an undefeated team and get her team to the Final 4 😂 OBVIOUSLY they would be talking about her
Right! 😂 Also, they still needed to make that three point shot and be fouled (while making the three point shot) to really have a chance during that last possession. Because once CC had it the rest was history! Absolutely incredible! 🎉
Clark is a great player. Great perimeter shooter. I noticed she didn’t really attack the board in the finals. SC lost because they just didn’t shoot enough and also didn’t land those inside goals. Still a great game.
I think she was in foul trouble along with the 2 senior girls. Great game no matter what... LSU -- bench players were coming to play... Great for ALL. There are always NEXT YEAR....
We always think that...Then we say this player reminds me of that player. However, her defense needs to improve. Number 24 of Iowa is a better on ball defender.
@@jeromedanielson4422 True, there a lot of Harold Miner's and ''next Jordan's''. Those don't take a team of 2 stars to the championship nor go on the path to set nearly every NCAA record for both the regular season and the tournament. - Your are right about Marshall, they put her on the ball. As long as we have 5 tight fouls in college we won't see what D star players can play. They call Clark off most challengable plays. She will walk away with the most records of any woman in history, which puts her on a parallel to Tiger Woods - who also had to endure tons of back-handed compliments and outright racism. . . just for being better and (some) people not accepting this.
@@destinypirate Clark probably wouldn't have those numbers if Iowa got more point production from other teammates. All the title winners have multiple threats. Obviously Clark is capable of those performances, but on other teams she wouldn't be required to carry the load, and she wouldn't have to play so many minutes. However, there's no doubt Caitlin is going down as one of the greats.
@Jerome Danielson Isn't that true for all scorers? If MJ has Wilkens he'd have lower averages. Feel free to try and diminish Clark, the same happened to all of the all time greats...
@@destinypirate You are assuming I am trying to "diminish" her skills that, my friend, is not true. Just stating what Catlin would not have to do if she had better players around her. I have been calling Clark the player of the year (Neismith) since the beginning of the season, and it didn't matter to me who the other finalist was. Please don't waste any more of my time with your assumptions, thank you.
S.C. had the size, tough defense, rebounding, great bigs, deeper bench, and good backcourt players. They just didn't have Caitlin Clark, or the heart, during this game, anyway, of the Iowa girls. This reminded me of the Villanova vs Ewing and Georgetown, championship game. I am sorry Iowa didn't win a championship, but beating both, loaded, championship teams, in the semifinals, alternate years, back to back, was a huge accomplishment. I don't know if that has happened before. I guess there is no award for that, but again, it was a big thing, in my book.
This was a different kind of game from Coach Staley. She is usually very animated, very aggressive. She seemed unusually quiet and reserved during this game. Very different coaching behavior from her. It was obvious she had no one who could slow Clark down, but 41 points shouldn't beat you.
The officiating was HORRIBLE, when A. Boston only scores 8 points and gets 3 fouls in 25 minutes of play, good grief, Coach Staley saw it before tip-off.
Staley is far from arrogant. Confident yes and deservedly so. She clearly thought her team would do what it normally does, pull through and overcome. It just didn't happen this time. Probably a mistake on her part but no coach is perfect. I'm not a huge fan of hers(since I'm Big10) but I don't understand why so many people attack someone that has been so good for the sport of basketball.
NCAA needs to add more time between the semifinal and final of these tournaments. If my memory serves, Iowa had less than 48 hours between this game and the title game. LSU would have likely still won because they played so so well, but it might have been a more entertaining game.
All teams play the same day....no extra day is needed; what you are speaking to is Iowa's subpar conditioning, physio, and stamina. All the other players and teams played the same number of games and each game is the same 40 minutes. If no other teams/players other than Iowa were 'tired' then it can only be an internal issue.
Sure didn't. Staley should've yanked Fletcher out after that opening air ball...that shot was a preview of South Carolina's night... AIR BALL... and it was an over to the other side air ball. So you just had shoot around and pre game warm ups to miss a shot, wide open... that badly?! Staley should've put Raven in sooner and told Raven to be aggressive. You don't have to shoot 3s.. step into a mid range jumper like Alexis Morris
@@carlosdossantos917I agree, also I think latecia Amihere should’ve have put in sooner to guard Clark, not fletcher , Clark was literally shooting all over her.
This game was a massive failure on Coach Staley and leader Boston. You NEVER let an inferior team run over you like this - controlling the play and score. Low moment for all. Played scared. Can only praise the heavens that merely a year later they got a seldom received opportunity for redemption and Raven Johnson, Kamilla Cordoso, and the new freshmen shooters led the charge!
Iowa is the only team that was able to beat South Carolina!!!! No matter what, this game will go in history no matter what the NCAA committee wants to do to Clark for this upcoming tournament.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
sure, the game "goes down in history" but what will be remembered above all is the same thing that is always remembered above all - who WON the fruggin title. That's what the record books will most prominently list....who played in the title game and who won and who lost in that title game - the preliminary games will get less and less coverage as time passes.
@@waldolydecker8118 sure sure sure sure you say it that way. They beat South Carolina last year! And yes, Clarks teammates this year, just were not there to get it done twice in a row. If they had Monica and just had a really solid 3 point shooting, they would have done it. Clark's teammates are really close best friends, and unfortunately, they have to be stronger and bigger to beat them twice in a row. BUT they got them LAST YEAR! SO ....SURE YOURSELF! STILL PROUD OF THEM THAT THEY BEAT THEM.
@@1398go - quit lying. Blaming Clark's teammates, when it was Clark who solidified the loss with 2 minutes left in a two possession game by coming down and jacking up two successive out-of-control, low percentage shots that made winning the game impossible. Clark did the same in the loss to LSU the previous year. Same Iowa fan reaction too - all credit to Clark when they win, and blame her teammates when they lose, lol. Upsets always periodically happen in sports. Your reveling in the joy of last year is telling. Iowa's victory over SC will probably remain in the minds of most Iowa fans, "the greatest victory in the history of Iowa womens basketball." lol Just goes to show how little Iowa has accomplished in the Quarter Century Lisa Bluder has been coach - other than beating SC once, there really isn't anything to show the Iowa program in 25 years - no wonder top players never signed there...Bruder hasn't produced any pro players before she lucked up with local product Clark. Keep reveling in the ref-assisted upset from last year...while other schools like SC, UCONN, and Notre Dame count championship titles, you Iowa folks keep reminiscing about that one game when you beat what everybody knows was the more accomplished team, even though you couldn't repeat the feat when given a second chance. Problem now is Coach Bluder is about to be exposed. With all the spotlight of the past year and now Clark gone, Bruder's 25 year incompetence at recruiting and personnel development is going to be tested. With all the tens of millions of free publicity and national media coverage her program got, if she was any kind of coach players respected, she would easily be able to pull in top recruits nationwide for the next 3 or 4 years to keep Iowa at the top. With Clark gone, don't be surprised if Iowa regresses right back to where they were before Clark - nowhere. Bruder won't be blamed of course; the same old excuses about "Iowa only recruits the best" or " recruits won't come play near a cornfield" will be used to cover up Bluder's incompetence. Good luck...UCLA and U Southern Calif will displace Iowa next year and start Iowa's regression to the mean.
Marshall will be a fifth year senior. She already has a better three point % then Clark. The difference is that Clark has range, size, and the moves to get her shot off while dribbling. Also she is a better driver and passed too. Gabbie is a great 3 and D player.
I don't think I've ever watched a whole basketball game in my life. Here for Caitlin Clark - obviously - because I've seen compilations of her 3 pointers. But that's not the whole story. Jesus, she can make opposing players look as if they got glued to the floor.
Gabby Marshell should be in The W; her defense is elite and she is the ultimate pest. Plus Gabby can shoot. A good coach, like Bluder, can isolate a supreme offensive guard on a side with Gabby ready for a 3, brilliant offense when you have the right players (and aren't an idiot like a W coach we know).
Its called being scared. Many get scared playing all-white teams because they fear the backlash and inevitable racial epithets that are going to be hurled their way if they beat them. Also refs are notorious in these type games for targeting the most dominant player on the black team and loading them with fouls...this is done to help level the disparity in dominant. True to form, Ailyah Boston was hit with fouls early costing her significant playing time.
Being "relentless on the offensive glass" is a bit misleading. It most likely means you're much taller/bigger than your defenders AND you're missing a lot of chip shots. Same thing with baseball teams having turned more double plays than other teams usually means that they are allowing more base runners than the other teams! Those kind of stats are not necessarily reflective of having a good team!!
One simple problem with your thesis - what's "reflective on having a good team" is not the stat "being relentless on the offensive glass" or the stat of "turning the most double plays" - that's not the stats you evaluate. What you evaluate is does the relentlessness on the glass LEAD TO WINS AND LEAD TO CHAMPIONSHIP? Same with the baseball example...do the turning of the double plays LEAD TO WINS AND LEAD TO CHAMPIONSHIPS? If the answer is "YES" then it is an indisputable fact it denotes those are good teams. In the case of South Carolina, their relentlessness on the offensive glass" had led them to a championship the previous season and they were another 30-something games undefeated coming into this game, so it would be idiotic to claim they somehow weren't a good team. SC's problem in this game was they never had excelled or emphasized outside shooting as part of their regular routine, and when their regular routine got bogged down with Iowa defense and ref foul calling that eliminated their top player from half the game, SC had no response from the outside. It was a lesson learned that the SC coach addressed and repaired the following season, but it was a difficult way to learn that lesson.
Looking back at this game, it was coach Staley's fault South Carolina lost this game. Cardoso, Amihere, Cook, Breezy and Johnson should've started the second half and played most of the game. Beal played a terrible game and should've been benched.
I love the fact the Boston and Clark are a force in the Fever now.

Not LOL.
time to revisit this game to get ready for the 2024 Women's Championship Finals!!!
2024 women 's championship final
This was the best game of the NCAA’s. The officials let BOTH teams play.
Amazing game! Clark is frickin' fearless...!!! Love her or hate her, can't say she's not the GOAT...
She's not a goat what have she won no ring or championship. Goat of her people.😂😂
53:27 absolutely nasty, that was so good
Iowa dictated this game offensively.
@@RustyLou18
Marshall only shoots when she has open shots.
@@RustyLou18yes had her wrapped up but the offensive foul was called on Boston!
I’m so happy they made it they did amazing and Caitlin was a beast!!
She is!!!!!!❤❤❤
This game always gives a energy to me. Passion, joy and happiness
i'm in love with caitlin clark
Who isn’t?
You get into trans dudes? 🤢
I’m in love with Gabbie Marshall
Iowa without clark is nothing
Literally, unfortunately they don’t have at least 2 more of her. One player could only get them so far, that’s why it’s a team game.

Let me guess, '87 Lakers were nothing without Magic. '96 Bulls nothing without Jordan. Dandelions nothing withouth a stiff breeze.

8:51 this still cracks me up. Clark was just savage here.
I guess the real question is, could South Carolina have beaten LSU? I don't think so. LSU was so well prepared for both teams it is almost frightening.
What a dumb question.
SC killed LSU by 18 points in February...
@@msp5138 lol that was in February! That’s why you play the game. Any team can beat anybody on any given night. LSU made shots and South Carolina couldn’t. That’s why y’all aren’t champs this year
yeah i think so. sc would be familiarized with lsu. unlike iowa who they had no idea how to stop apparently.
@@MrKouaVang
As if February was years ago...lol
The question was could SC have beaten LSU?
Since they did it once, they could clearly do it twice.
I am not a SC fan, just a person with a brain...
@@RK-um9tu I know that idiot. I’m saying that South Carolina probably wouldn’t have beaten LSU a second time this season. They had the hot hand all night and made shot after shot.
This is a big time Caitlin's energy is something else
Clark is an amazing person and player . Great players raise their teammates to greater heights as have Chamberlain, Russell,West, Baylor, Bird, Nagic, Jordan, Malone,Stockton, Reed ,Olajuwon, and on and on. Iowa has her.. Nobody else does just like the greats I mentioned above .
It’s November 10th and America is experiencing tragedy all around, and entertainment is down to nothing, so I watch this and many more of Iowa’s games! Mainly because of CC.
Watching this before WMM begins this year, can’t believe we’re gonna get Clark and Boston on the same team. Can’t wait to watch that duo in the WNBA.
Such a good game. Such good teams and players. Such good coaches.
Caitlin Clark... The Human Potential!... I believe if Caitlin concentrated enough she could levitate!!!
It was to the same team she said "shut up you're losing by 15" too
Go to the 9:40 mark.... And how they were bragging about how Clark waved off Johnson.. which is why they lost the championship. Sagging off on defense
@@mzbatonrougebeauty5267 dude that was by design you dope. Iowa was squeezing the middle and letting SC horrible 3pt shooters take aim...and it worked out. It wasn't about "sagging on defense".
@@BlueInOrangeAgain they sagged on LSU, and that's why lsu wiped the floor with them. was that by design as well? smh
@@BlueInOrangeAgain - Hey Sparky....how'd that sagging off SC 3pt shooters by design work in 2024? lol Like they say - "He who laughs last, laughs best!" You remember that saying, don't you dope?
Great interview, Holly! You provoked and got Caitlin to say she’s pretty good without making her say she did it all. Impressive stuff all around.
I'm watching this on 9/10/24 and still get fired up even though I know who won.
I’m having such huge CC withdrawals I’m rewatching these til next April 😢
SC has no long-range shooters lol that's why Iowa guarded them that way
They need to develop shooters in order to secure more championship. And Boston if she remains need to get an elite veteran center to coach her on footwork and offensive plays.
IKR!! It's like South Carolina does not practice shooting.
What does it matter???? ThE BEST TEAM WON!!! GET OVER IT!!!!!
Here to manifest the championship game this Sunday Iowa vs SC. Let’s go Hawks!!!
HAWK HAWK HAWK!
#respect
I absolutely love the new Kings and Queens of basketball!!!!!!!!
South Carolina was so dominant all year on the offensive glass and missed the one that mattered most. Crazy how somethings work out.
There is no way Iowa would not have made shot attempts for three so wide open like that. Completely open, no attempt.
This was a great USC team. But I think this year's team is even better. Maybe these two will dance again this year.
@@carlosdossantos917 Iowa was cooked the second they beat South Carolina. Nobody wants to bash the lack of coaching adjustments on Iowa.
Iowa's buckets were primarily off assists... plus this game was won on defense by iowa. they stopped SC's gameplan, while SC didn't stop Iowas game plan
not to mention all of the transition buckets by iowa
When you have the best player in the NCAA, on your team, you let them cook.
Gabriel clearly didn't watch the game closely.
Once again, it has been proven that winning back-to-back titles is extremely hard. UCONN and Florida Gators were the last women's and men's teams to repeat.
I believe with today's transfer portal, a repeat may not happen for a awhile...NIL is also changing the landscape.
Well cook the only one showed up for SC as a starter.
Without Clark, Iowa is not even a top 40 team.
@Karl Shwab It is a compliment not an attack on Iowa basketball team.
So I think that’s about right
They’d have likely made the tournament but not gone far
A lot more inside work to Monika & Hannah
Would have been very reliant on Monika scoring 20 per game mixed with some 3s by Marshall and Warnock
But thankfully, Iowa does have Clark and will for at least one more year :)
Facts
And?
True. She is one of the most greatest college player. Her teammates are very average.
Clark is awesome 🥰
Scores the last 14 points of the game, shoots 4 clutch game sealing free throws, that are all net against an undefeated team in a final four game. Enuff said. Well other than 41 points in a final four game.
Clark is the best I've ever seen.41 points amazing
Caitlin is amazing!
The rebound by Warnock with 19.2 seconds remaining...best play of Iowa WBB history to that point.
this was one of the happiest moments i ever remember in all of sports
That band before the last play from Clark, was like a march of doom for S.C. Oh my god it was phenomenal! Just so so grateful we could watch this. Repeat for the rest of our lives….lol🎉
The swarm defense that SC practices will beat them if the other team understands how to defeat it. Iowa understood how to defeat it.
Yet another DUMB comment.
Everyone knows how to beat SC who has guards who cant shoot.
Of course they are gonna talk about Clark she dropped 40+ in back to back games to beat an undefeated team and get her team to the Final 4 😂 OBVIOUSLY they would be talking about her
Its wild that iowa got outrebounded all game and the 1 rebound that mattered most that pretty much ended the game was the very last rebound iowa got
Clark did not attack the boards in the LSU game because she was in foul trouble.
I love watching this game!!
We may never see a talent like hers again... This saga begins to remind me of Tiger Woods'
ALIYAH BOSTON AND KAMILLA CORDOSA PUT ANGEL REESE FOR LSU TO SHAME!!!!
Awesome game
This was a different kind of game from Coach Staley. She is usually very animated, very aggressive. She seemed unusually quiet and reserved during this game. Very different coaching behavior from her. It was obvious she had no one who could slow Clark down, but 41 points shouldn't beat you.
It was arrogance
The officiating was HORRIBLE, when A. Boston only scores 8 points and gets 3 fouls in 25 minutes of play, good grief, Coach Staley saw it before tip-off.
People always blame the officiating when their team loses.
Staley was calm and collected because she felt like there was no way they were going to lose to a bunch of white girls who weren’t that tall. Hello!
NCAA needs to add more time between the semifinal and final of these tournaments. If my memory serves, Iowa had less than 48 hours between this game and the title game. LSU would have likely still won because they played so so well, but it might have been a more entertaining game.
My point being, Iowa came out looking tired in the final.
Semifinals were played the same day …one earlier than the other that’s all
And they kept Kate Martin in the arena after the game for a drug test until past 1 AM. It was a horrible way for her to be treated. @@Hoopgirly
Ya. Iowa's semi-final game was a war. They had to be tired after that.
All teams play the same day....no extra day is needed; what you are speaking to is Iowa's subpar conditioning, physio, and stamina. All the other players and teams played the same number of games and each game is the same 40 minutes. If no other teams/players other than Iowa were 'tired' then it can only be an internal issue.
rematch for the national championship 2024, it should be a good one.
I bet this will be the championship this Sunday
why dont you upload a high-quality video 1080p?
Be happy it was uploaded in a box.
Staley did not have a good day coaching. SC wasted way too much time in offense when trailing. Cost them a few possessions.
Was so fun to see
Iowa is the only team that was able to beat South Carolina!!!!
Good luck...UCLA and U Southern Calif will displace Iowa next year and start Iowa's regression to the mean.
mark my word,,,,gabBie marshall will also Become as great shooter like clark sooner...
Marshall will be a fifth year senior. She already has a better three point % then Clark. The difference is that Clark has range, size, and the moves to get her shot off while dribbling. Also she is a better driver and passed too. Gabbie is a great 3 and D player.
This one hurt 💔
It's still hurting...

I don't think I've ever watched a whole basketball game in my life. Here for Caitlin Clark - obviously - because I've seen compilations of her 3 pointers. But that's not the whole story. Jesus, she can make opposing players look as if they got glued to the floor.

Seeing Warnock puke in her mouth @ 1:17:09 tells you how important this game was to Iowa. Absolutely insane game.

LSU was praying for this SC loss!
I still can’t believe South Carolina lost like how did the fumble that so bad 💀😭😭
It remains a nightmare for me, but I'm so happy that LSU won, GO SEC!
Facts and had 26 offensive rebounds. With that many second chances SC should have blown this game wide open
Both teams were 👏👏👏 Caitlin....honey...MVP
If a player or team not going to shoot the ball or can’t shoot I’ll and every other basketball player will give that hand gesture.
Redemption was crazy
Looking back at this game, it was coach Staley's fault South Carolina lost this game. Cardoso, Amihere, Cook, Breezy and Johnson should've started the second half and played most of the game. Beal played a terrible game and should've been benched.
This game taught me a new basketball tactic. And it's called the trojan helmet defense SC had as a secondary tool.
purely amazing
