I use my Leaders and Ender's that are cut into 2 1/2 inch squares. 😊

I keep a dish nearby with scraps that are less than 1 1/2 inches 🙂

Your video is wonderful!! I have never really quilted...was cleaning out the basement last month and had bins of scraps from when our daughter use to sew bonnets for our Living History Farms. She is all grown up and out on her own -- now I have time and lots of scraps, so thinking about doing something creatively with them. I love the crossroad quilt block! What is the pattern called that you are embroidering on ? Loved that as well. You're very talented!!

Why dont you sew 2 1/2 inch stripes together and cut then down instead of all the individual pieces?

Are you asking if you can use longer lengths of 2 1/2 inch strips? You can use any length you want. Hope that helps!
