I loved the show, and outside of gritty urban environments and black surrealism, i don't see the why everyone feels obligated to compare the two shows. Completely different characters and scenarios. Im from the bay, and be in LA, so i relate to the Vince Staples show in ways I don't relate to Atlanta.
Definitely think it’s the black surrealism that links the two in my mind. But at the same time I never compared insecure or any show to atl so idk bout that either. I hope it gets renewed for season 2 so we can see him in other situations. I appreciate you watchin bro
Just finished watching it i can confidently say its a great show and the ending of episode 5 was so gutstriking 2 is my favorite episode its the perfect mix of a hilarious Saturday morning cartoon with a rapper and good writing
This is fire content as always, you noticed some details I missed. The similarities between VSS and Atlanta are definitely there, except Vince probably parallels Paper Boi more than Earn. With that in mind, VSS kinda feels like Atlanta, if it were “The Paper Boi Show”. That is not a complaint either! Hope there’s a S2.
And you know Netflix is notorious for not letting shows have enough time to flesh out characters etc. With that being said....I loved the show. It's creative, insightful and funny. The jail scenes with dude singing. Wow!! I hope they can get another season or even more. This show can certainly go far I think. Love Vince's music as well. I thought he did great acting. When I see him in interviews....he has so much character and is generally funny. I am not surprised at how good he was in the series. Great video...and I've never seen your content....will be checking out more vids....and I am now subscribed! Well done!
It’s dope watching Vince come from the mini YT series to a full length project. I see you with lining up your videos to be in their own universe as well. Pretty solid idea I think. Vince is a good actor and I think he’ll only get better. He’s becoming more natural as he lands roles. A bit rigid but it’s working out.
I personally loved the show and I think he is a great actor. I didn't realize when watching the show that the uncle is OJ. Great insight as always. Your content is amazing.
0:44 yeah we need more eps before we judge it it's still early Atlanta could br its own thing this could be completely different but similar but ofc it might be both are about the black experience
I may not be the person to ask lol I’m still gettin things off the ground here. But I’d say the best thing you can do is start and be consistent. You don’t have to have it all figured out on the first video or even the tenth. Find a niche you know about and enjoy researching. Plan videos out weeks ahead so you can have a life outside of this. Invest in a computer that won’t explode when using editing software. Hope this helps!
So I feel like it's the same cinematic universe for kne reason: the real estate lady in the first episode. I believe that is sis from the last episode of Atlanta. The one that got pulled over by the police.
"Kapow Pops" is crazy 🙃🤣
With context, its diabolical lmfaoo
wish it was longer but it was honestly ok and quick fun. love the review
I appreciate you watchin
this show is hilarious, i need a season 2

I feel like we need 5 episodes at a time till they get to about 20 then be done
Shit too funny
0:44 yeah we need more eps before we judge it it's still early Atlanta could br its own thing this could be completely different but similar but ofc it might be both are about the black experience
Hopefully gets renewed for season 2
I still need to start atlanta forgot this came out gonna watch it today
Episode 1 was good a great introduction to this show as he navigates prison and some hilarious jokes especially that nightmares joke
Episode 2 was done of the best tv I've watched in a long time it went from regular to funny to too cartoony but it made up for it in comedy
Episode 3 the most mid to me yet it was entertaining but not as funny as episode w
2
4 was still quite good
5 was amazing especially the endingg
The last episode he dressed as Vincent from Pulp Fiction with the blue shorts
Good catch!
I definitely need something to check out, so I'll have to do that soon and see.
Oh and yes...there were so many references....the Kill Bill moments....fire!
Apparently there were more Tarantino references I missed
Yeah I like this I say yes to season 2 ✌🏾☝🏾🗣️🤙🏾
you can not pause an online game... that was hard fam
Any tips or advice for someone starting a commentary channel?

@@_FLWRS yea it did and I’m thinking about hip hop commentary
@@IDEKTBH111 that’s what’s up!
9:45 favorite clip😂
He meant that sincerely too lmfao
I’m pretty sure I saw a pulp fiction reference in the last episode
Tbh, I loved the show. It reminded me of Curb Your Enthusiasm, but a black version.
That’s a great comparison
So I feel like it's the same cinematic universe for kne reason: the real estate lady in the first episode. I believe that is sis from the last episode of Atlanta. The one that got pulled over by the police.
Now I gotta go check
Oh simpson
Staples
I appreciate you comin through
Chicken is always referenced next to a scene with money
Good observation bro
Good video Bruh 🫡
Thanks 💯
Who was the uncle ?
OJ Simpson
It wasn't long enough. Massive potential for me it's like a mix of Atlanta and Dave. Helps that I'm a huge Vince Staples fan.
