If a person has publicly demonstrated behavior that would make their intent questionable, then that person has an issue that needs to be addressed. Large age gap relationships are given the side eye by a lot of people. When you add in that the elder person had any level of interest in the younger person prior to the generally accepted age of majority (18), things begin to look really bad for the elder person. It may be legal, but to a lot of folks, the legality of the situation is splitting the hair a little too fine for comfort.

Within the circles of those more knowledgeable on the subject, there are defined delineations between actions which are strictly illegal and actions that are mostly frowned upon within the confines of social acceptance. The general public does not see those lines. They see actions that match up to information they have been trained to recognize. The information they've absorbed does not include these lines (nor will it ever). It is a long and hard road to overturn decades and generations of behavior acceptance. Over the years, there have been numerous public figures/celebrities whose dating history has been not kindly looked upon. Cher and Leonardo DiCaprio come to mind as prime examples. In both cases, their choice of partners over the years has consistently been within a certain age range. As a result, as they get older, their preferences in partner age becomes more questionable in terms of social acceptability. Now to be fair to both Leo and Cher, neither has ever been accused of being too close socially to underaged people. On the other hand, Drake has a recorded history of being involved in the social lives of underaged girls in a way that doesn't look good to a lot of people. The fact that the girls in question seem to have no idea of the perceptions that the public has on their friendship with Drake is a failure on the part of their parents, imo.

Never would have figured that this guy would have such a long career. If a person has publicly demonstrated behavior that would make their intent questionable, then that person has an issue that needs to be addressed. Large age gap relationships are given the side eye by a lot of people. When you add in that the elder person had any level of interest in the younger person prior to the generally accepted age of majority (18), things begin to look really bad for the elder person. It may be legal, but to a lot of folks, the legality of the situation is splitting the hair a little too fine for comfort.

Within the circles of those more knowledgeable on the subject, there are defined delineations between actions which are strictly illegal and actions that are mostly frowned upon within the confines of social acceptance. The general public does not see those lines. They see actions that match up to information they have been trained to recognize. The information they've absorbed does not include these lines (nor will it ever). It is a long and hard road to overturn decades and generations of behavior acceptance.
Over the years, there have been numerous public figures/celebrities whose dating history has been not kindly looked upon. Cher and Leonardo DiCaprio come to mind as prime examples. In both cases, their choice of partners over the years has consistently been within a certain age range. As a result, as they get older, their preferences in partner age becomes more questionable in terms of social acceptability.
Now to be fair to both Leo and Cher, neither has ever been accused of being too close socially to underaged people. On the other hand, Drake has a recorded history of being involved in the social lives of underaged girls in a way that doesn't look good to a lot of people.
The fact that the girls in question seem to have no idea of the perceptions that the public has on their friendship with Drake is a failure on the part of their parents, imo.

In a world where we can see celebrities living good off OUR hard earned money, I believe Drake is heavily disliked now bc he gets away with being a light skinned, interracial emo-rapper who is a “black African American” culture obsessing Canadian who does not have a squeaky clean record and doesn’t do anything to truly help black people. He drains us dry and has wanted us to praise him for years which many of us did for too long. He makes good music. He’s a great actor. He imitates many dialects and sounds well. But he’s still a predator. He’s still unoriginal. And he’s still trying his best to cover that he has internal demons that he needs to fight. He’s not perfect and this journey has exposed just that.

Listen, Drake is an extremely talented artist with a goddamn golden ear for hits. One of the most talented like, ever. As far as Hip Hop/Rap/Emceeing is concerned, Kendrick has the catalouge, pedigree, lyrics & critically acclaimed projects that DRAKE WANTS.Not to meention a fucking Pulitzer Prize for his writing. Drake been just as big of a hater to Kendrick as Kendrick has been to him. At the end of the day, i dont think Kendrick wants the type of career Drake has. However, Drake IS a student and religious fan of the art of hip hop/rap/emceeing and i do think DRAKE wants the respect from his peers and up and comers as well as legends that Kendrick has. BUT i do think Kendrick does get salty at hearing people say "drake is the GOAT" and this and that but if you look at it from overall MUSICAL(regardless of genre) perspective then shit, he may be the GOAT. If you break it down specific to hip hop, he isnt even close. Kendrick will go down as one of the Top 5 Emcees ever in the history of earth and hip hop and and the moon and stars and yo momma n'em. Drake will go down as one of the biggest and best musical acts/artists in the history of everdom. Those two things are completely different. While both incredibly important and monumental, VERY DIFFERENT.
