What a lovely get together ❤. A note on the hedgehog fibres yarn with the recycled content. If you go to the HH store and take your cut ends from projects you can trade them in by weight for a discount. They use all the scraps for your wool.
What an episode. I appreciate your sharing the benefits of attending training when you have a bit of knowledge on the subject-never any wasted time. I especially enjoyed seeing you behave like someone on their birthday when you were gifted the yarn. And I really appreciated both of you trying on the sweater. Until the next episode stay safe.
Lovely podcast. A fractal is usually spun from separate bobbins. Chain plying is usually done to preserve color changes. Of course though it's your yarn, you can absolutely experiment and see what you like. All the projects are beautiful!
Wow as a beginner you certainly motivate me to keep going, and maybe join my guild here in Ottawa Canada! 🇨🇦 Tash your music selection at the end was great! All too often podcast choose ones that are bit boring and melancholy… love it, with all the colors of skeins you showed. Your podcasts are part of my week and help this crocheter learn so much about knitting 🧶 😊Thank you ❤
Such a sweet podcast. So interesting seeing how Storm sweater fits on different bodies. As I have a 40" bust I'm with Becca wouldn't want it any larger.
Oh lovely to see Becks again and Becks your sweater is gorgeous. You got some lovely stuff from destash Tash and can’t wait to see what you both knit with them. Safe journey home Becks ❤
A lovely podcast with Bec with the Secret Garden Sweater. The Clover Tee looks good on you as it drapes so well. Bec ìs also knitting the Carrisma and Birds of a Feather. Your Magnolia Bloom is a Stunner and the cashmere knit is soo soft. Then your adventures at the Knitter's Guild Retreat. This must have been quite an experience and the acquisitions. Take care Tash ❤😊
What a treat to have a knitting friend to play with! The Storm Sweater reminds me of the pair of jeans from the book, “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” which looked terrific on every body that wore them. 💖
Love to see Bec again. You two remind me of myself and my friend. I would be Bec and Claire would be you Tash. Love to see what all your projects with the new yarn. And the yarns that Bec will spin. Enjoy your time together.
What a wonderful surprise to see Bec on your video! The Garden Gate sweater is a work of art-amazing! I’m also in awe of Bec’s spinning. I’ve had a wheel for a couple of months and so far haven’t been able to do a fractal spin that I like. Tash- I look forward to seeing your acquisitions turned into garments. Thanks to both of you for sharing.
I love your podcast so much. Each episode is filled with great stuff, and you are just lovely- so is Bec. I always feel not just more knowledgeable after watching, but also so relaxed. You have a calming effect! 💕
What a treat for you two to spend some quality time together. Bec's garden jumper is stunning and I did love the Storm comparison. Looked great on you both. Thanks for an interesting episode filled with inspiration and joy. Enjoy your days.xx
Thank you Tash and Bec for the inspiring episode! My knitting mojo always increases a lot after watching your podcast! Bec, your Secret Garden sweater is beautiful. I look forward to seeing both of your Charisma Sweaters whenever they are done and your other creations in the meantime. 😊
Such a lovely, wonderful podcast ❣️ It was great to see you both and hear about all of your adventures. Thanks for sharing the try-on at the end. I'm the same size as Bec and have been trying to decide what size to make of that sweater. That was so very helpful. 💙
Just wanted to mention that Kokon is all South African yarn and the owner is an ex South African living in Europe very talented and all the gorgeous merino and mohair from South Africa !!!
How fabulous to see Bec’s finished Secret Garden jumper - your yarn calculations for the colours worked perfectly! ⭐️ I received some 100% merino from Skein yarns which is gorgeous but it smells a bit ‘sheepy’. I’ve never used yarn that smells before so I was wondering if you had any advice about a product to use when blocking that removes the smell? Loved the ‘g-string & ovaries’ reference!🤣🤣🤣 Thanks to you both for a grouse episode! 🥰🧶😃
@@mostlyknitting thanks Tash, I might knit a swatch and try that. I’d be so disappointed if I knitted an entire Soldotna ( my plan for that yarn) and then smelled like a sheep paddock! 😱🤣x
Gus would be chuffed to hear you thought he was as big as a Great Dane. ;) He is a cattle dog cross mastiff so he is pretty chunky. Thanks so much for your lovely comments. :)
Were you disappointed that the Petite Knit Storm sweater is so oversized on you? I was looking into purchasing the children's size, because 10" of ease would look ridiculous on 5'1" and 100 pounds. I feel like part of the reason for learning to sew and to knit is to be able to create clothing that fits, but it seems like a lot of young knitwear designers are creating such oversized garments, even in an XXS!
Hi Jillian - Actually, with this one, i was really wanting an exaggerated oversized sweater so i was happy with the results as it is what i was after. But a kids version would be good if you didnt want that much ease or i could have worked with a smaller gauge yarn. Of course, it would be simpler to just have another size smaller.… :)
It is always so fun to watch you and Bec podcast together. Nothing better than a Knitting Friend🧶
Thank you so much. Yes - i feel very lucky to have Bec in my life. She is a special person. :)
Thank you for another great podcast. Always love when Bec joins you - her Garden Sweater is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much! It is amazing, isnt it? x

I have just made the Traveler Cowl! I love the squishy fabric and how warm it will be in the winter. Bec's Secret Garden is gorgeous.

From across the pond, I love hearing the Austrailian accents kick into high gear with you two talking to each other. 😊 “yeah, yeah” great video.

Tell Gus I did not mean to hurt his feelings. I too have a sensitive mastiff cross. He is always offended when I call him Hoss.
What yearn did you swatch for the fjola sweater ?
I used the yarn in the pattern which is Myak Baby Lace held double. :)
