getting into UT!!! + cap recap

hi!! I wanted to make a video to sum up my year at UTA because even though it was cut short I had the best time and will miss it sooo much!! as u know, I was a cap student, and in this video I found out that I got into UT!!! what a crazy moment, and despite my reaction it was some of the best news ever. Hey, I was offered the CAP program, and do people get rejected from the program? I'm trying to get into the college of natural sciences. I'm confused right now. How many courses did you take per semester (for CAP)(I heard you have to complete 30 hours)?

dude so did i. so depending where u want to go lets say you want to go to utsa, if you wanna go there you gotta apply and blah blah, if ur top 10 and 25% you do not need a sat requirement however if you are bottom quarter you need ur sat to be at least 1170. and i know ut has a course catalog for cap students, and there is a college of natural sciences catalog of courses that is highly rec

for the fall semester will you be staying on campus at UT or doing school from home? this video was cute 🥺 i’m just sad that my experience won’t be the same and i won’t be able to meet people and am conflicted whether to save money and stay home for a semester or to go and make the most time out of what i can get before going to austin as i’m a cap student also :(, if you have any advice lmk because i’m really lost with what to do, but congrats again for making your dream come true!

as of now im gonna be going down to Austin still! also, thank you!! I know these circumstances are less than ideal, but try to keep your head up and remember that this won't last forever (that's what I keep telling myself) it's just a temporary setback and things will start looking up eventually:) I think ultimately that decision is up to you on whether you want to live on campus or off campus, but I really think that schools will be making efforts to help incoming students find friends in some virtual way too! all in all I think the anticipation of the cap year and starting college is so much worse than the actual moment when it's happening, you'll find so many things to be excited and grateful for!! feel free to dm me on insta in the future if you have more questions, good luck!!!!

Hi! I didn’t necessarily apply for it, I initially applied to UT and didn’t get in, so I was offered cap. In order to do it youd have to apply to UT!
