Nothing has changed in UTA .. it was very diverse even 20 years ago and yes you’d have a group project and there would be a crazy diverse group .. not just background diverse but also age differences were huge

I’m so confused. I got capped this year. At first I felt pretty sad but at the same time I know that some time things are made this way to make you even more determined. My question though is if the CAP program is mostly intended for liberal arts, can you still direct yourself to another major? For example, I wanted to go to the college of natural sciences at UT but got capped, is it possible to still make that happen regardless if it’s intended for liberal arts?

Yes! You it’s definitely harder to get into a major that’s not Liberal Arts but it’s not impossible! You just have to make great grades.

you get placed into Lib Arts, if you wanna go to natural sciences or business as an example you would need a higher gpa than the required and do an internal transfer, its not guaranteed but you get multiple tries to get into the college of wtv

Hey, I was offered the CAP program, and do people get rejected from the program? I'm trying to get into the college of natural sciences. I'm confused right now. How many courses did you take per semester (for CAP)(I heard you have to complete 30 hours)?
dude so did i. so depending where u want to go lets say you want to go to utsa, if you wanna go there you gotta apply and blah blah, if ur top 10 and 25% you do not need a sat requirement however if you are bottom quarter you need ur sat to be at least 1170. and i know ut has a course catalog for cap students, and there is a college of natural sciences catalog of courses that is highly rec

I got capped, is college of natural sciences that competitive? Like can I go with capped and after a year with gpa like over 3.8, do I have any chances to transfer to UT Austin?
i got capped too and i'm trying to get into college of natural sciences as well. i heard most people need to get a 4.0 to get in, but over a 3.8 is good too.
you have to get an A or B (mostly A) in math and all the sciences you take to be considered.

@@QuanNguyen-fd2bn its gonna be harder because they will not guarantee you admission to liberal arts. Your going to be with the other (non-cap) applicants who will be applying. But, if you get all As and write a good essay then u might be able to get in. i think if u do programs through UT Austin. Its going to be more easier, but i think you should ask UT Austin directly since i'm not an expert in this field.
