Sound wise for me . AMG V8's do not sound as good as this. I ride Harleys and love the sound of the V twin engine. In line 4 motorcycle engine's not really. I would love dinner with Helen Mirren but would pass on dinner with any of the Kardashians.
You can get the oil tested for metal content which would be a good indicator on whether or not the rod bearings need doing. Mumbray Motorsport always a good option.
I had the same done on mine, recently sold for a 981 cayman S and I have to say I'm missing that gorgeous v8 asbo sound! There's not many cars for similar money that sound that exotic.
Sounds epic that ,I did nearly the same to my m5 but I gutted the rear boxes so there straight through now and took the cats off but I have a meistershafe cutoff switch so when it gets on my nerves i can close the exhaust valves .

Just bought a one-owner Jerez Black E92 with 34k miles, should be getting it this week and will definitely be putting this at the top of my mods list 👍

George at Technosport did my rod bearings. If you know the history, and have always warmed the car up properly, it shouldn’t be a problem- replacing them would therefore be precautionary, not necessary. You don’t need a new engine, but you’ll need a new crankshaft bearing and rod bearings if they do ‘go’...

Great vid as always tom I am now regretting buying a 20 grand E400 one wish bought the c63 two need to start putting money into my house and can't afford to put the money in that it need's new bathroom full inside paint god I hate being a grown up who allowed me to turn 40 can not even put an exhaust on my E400 AMG now
@@enormoussoul If you accelerate gently and shift up at low revs then it's fine and not too loud, but at WOT it's really loud and aggressive. I was standing behind it when it was on the dyno and it made my ears hurt. But if I'm at WOT there probably won't be any pedestrians around! But if you drive gently then it won't bother anyone really. If you look at my Insta there are a couple of videos of the exhaust on there - I'm @buffycarjourno
