@@stoneautomotive yes mate i can imagine welding is one of the skills i would like to learn but never got round to it but you doing a great job with getting the videos out and when on a sunday i see a youtube notification im like bet thats james uploaded another video 😁👌
Please please cover the Ducati with a blanket next time you use the grinder,so easy to bugger up the screen with grinder sparks!! Great video,is the e46 similar to do?
Don’t worry no Ducati’s we’re harmed in the making of this video 😅 If you look again you will notice I rotate the exhaust when cutting it open so that the sparks get sent down the ramp rather than towards the bikes 👍 Never tried on the e46, to be honest I don’t like the S54 rasp so wouldn’t want to make it any louder, it’s all about the intake noise for me on the e46 😎
Awesome video. Do you happen to have the diameter of those stainless steel pipes you used? I saw there was a slight gap, any other recommended pipe diameters after encountering that?
@@stoneautomotive darn, I did the 4-pipe OEM exhaust but utilized the “wrap method”. I’m assuming the wraps are becoming loose since it’s less loud now.
@stoneautomotive mate you have solid evidence that what you were doing is a type of mechanical Yoga, okay so its not quite ashtanga or hot yoga , but still, I'll pray she doesn't find out 😅
My wife said she agrees with you... a little bit of pipe does make a lot of difference.
😅

Fantastic tip on lowering the rear seats for more sound! Great video !
Works well for a little more cabin noise 😎
Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
I was going to do the 2 pipe mod also, but luckily found a used mpe catback for 1200$ love it

Loving the video. Have the jubilee clips held up fine? I have just done the same thing and I’m wondering if I should have used heat wrap too.
All still working great, no change in noise since install or rattles from anything working loose 👍

Hi, glad you enjoyed the video 👍
I can’t recall the pipe size, I thought I put it in the video from memory

Find scrap metal of various quality and thickness and practice on that to perfect your wielding.
That’s the plan now 😅 will order up proper size Argon gas bottles too (hopefully get half decent)
man I have never seen such viscerally repulsive muffler packing in my life! witch hair!

Not 20 quid if you include the price of the yoga mat
Very wise words.. Lets hope the misses doesn’t realise I’ve borrowed it or the cost is gonna double as you mention 😅
