This episode is a great example of why I miss O&A. Between Opie, Anthony, Jim, the staff over the years, and the regular comics that were on, this show really felt like you were listening to family laugh and/or bicker with each other. Seriously! With all the stories that were told over the years, I legit know more about these guys than some of my actual family members. RIP Patrice and long live Colin.

Colin kind of tore Patrice up here. There's no denying that patrice was an iconoclastic genius, but Colin is a mean, smart asshole. These guys struggle to get anything past Colin's filter. It's weird hearing Patrice squirm a little.
Patrice was original and sometimes pretty clever, but Colin is a classic white intellectual. By that I mean his education is wasted on the rest of society that just thinks he sounds like a drunk nerd mumbling about shit they don't care about.

Patrice, Jim, Bob Kelly & even Nick Di Paulo have all had similar issues with Colin where he was upset at them for a very long time & they had no idea about it because he's very emotionally unattached & rarely ever expressed his true feelings. He was always guarded around the Cellar/Tough Crowd crew because he was seen as their De Facto leader & to him he just couldn't show weakness or vulnerability. Bill Burr once told a story on his podcast about how one day when everyone was breaking balls at the Cellar that Colin was one of the last guys to show up that night & Burr made a quick off the cuff remark about how Colin showed up late on purpose to make himself feel more important & he said Colin took it really personal & didn't speak to him for like 8 months & he had no clue that he was even upset about it.
