Every couple of years I go on a Patrice bing and it's always the same feelings. I'm laughing my ass of during the videos, but I get filled with sadness whenever they end. RIP to this man. Louis CK and Bill Burr are great, Dave Chapelle is a literal legend and George Carlin or Richard pryor probably the greatest. But Patrice was special and imo the funniest man I've ever seen. We lost a good one.
God, Patrice was one of a kind. He's one of the few human beings who all the praise people gave him is actually not doing him justice. Nearly ten years after his passing and it still feels like humanity lost a genuine light.
Pat Cooper laughing at Patrice's roast lines is a HUGE compliment. Pat was never shy about calling out a hack, he was OFFENDED when someone wasn't funny.
Patrice’s “I’m gonna strap both of your jokes to my chest and run through Palestine” is the only live improvised comeback to save a situation that can compete with Norm’s “chairman of the bored” on conan. Rest In Peace norm, Rest In Peace Patrice. The two greatest.
@@dnbd_3026 The two previous comedians failed at saying anything to make the crowd laugh, which comedians calling bombing. So patrice said hed take their jokes (bombs) and run through Palestine, a place synonymous with terrorist activities and attacks.
If he were still alive, we'd be blessed to have Netlix throw a huge pile of money for him to put a special on their platform. Dude's wit is so quick and spontaneous, it takes everyone a few seconds to even process the joke. That's why the laughs are sometimes delayed. He could have watered down his talent and made it simpler for us common folk but the dude was too rough and authentic to be tamed. A comic's comic as Bill Burr would say.
He’s a translator. He’s sees and hears what people are trying to do and translates it into comedy. He notices the exact moment there’s tension when people aren’t being accurate and getting each other and he translates that shit. He was so funny because everything he said was true in the moment. It’s why he shines more in these settings than straight standup.
You could tell he was very intuitive about people and his surroundings, and was able to translate that in a comedic way. I think it also shows how brave he was as a comedian. He didnt allow himself, to second guess himself, albeit his lightening quick wit
The funnier thing is not Patrice but to watch how uncomfortable everyone else is with Patrice being so good on the show and them lowkey trying to take him down lol. Thats what I see.
18:55 Patrice HAMMERS him perfectly- the guy has absolutely nothing and just silently has his “calm tea” hahah Patrice is the best Ralphie May is huge here
I hope one day they remaster this show and give it a proper release on streaming/blu ray. This show was so goddamn good. I was a O and A fan since the WNEW days since I was 11 and these comics were responsible for a lot of my sense of humor/outlook on things.
What made that even better was the fact that Kevin called Patrice asking if he should do that bit on the show. Patrice told him he should knowing that it would bomb which is why Patrice was laughing so hard.
Patrice was a great comic. I loved his style and how he said what was on his mind. He was a genius with coming up with material right on the spot. The comic world truly misses you. Rest in power brother.
21:21 "Oh boy, it's a great reality starring Ralphie, called 'having trouble standing' starring Ralphie May, and his co-star that thing in the front of his sweatpants" That bit always gets me, Patrice was one of the best to ever do it man
You hear a lot about having an open dialogue about race. But in reality, it's a minefield. When Patrice talks about race, he's open, honest and not angry. He's quite funny too, but he really cuts to the point on issues. That's what I liked about him.
I like it, from both sides. Just a couple of black and white guys having a good ol time talking shit with each other. No hang ups, just free and relaxed accepting the differences and having fun about it. How it should be
We DESPERATELY need comedians with the ability to go at eachother like this again...even though this show was hit or miss and could get uncomfortable at least everyone was put through the ringer and they all came out as better comedians... nothing comes close to the level of savagery mostly because Twitter would just get it canceled lmao
"He can't even improv his emotions!" Man, Patrice was so funny. The impressive thing about Patrice for me is how confident he was, especially around other men. Anyone who has grown up without a father knows how awkward male interactions can be as a young adult. Add on the fact he was usually the only black guy in the group. Huge confidence and presence.
his size and that he's black are massive sources of confidence. you can say things that smaller guys can't, because few people are gonna kick your ass, and you can say a bunch of racial stuff that is given a pass which would n't be given if roles reversed. he was playing with a stacked deck. still excellent, but still he had a huge advantage
There isn't one famous comedian today that Patrice didn't absolutely destroy. He is the ONLY person that I never met that I actually miss to this day. He is the greatest comic to me of all time. I really wish I could have seen him do comedy now.
He is one dude I never wanted to go see live...and that’s because at any point he could spot you and smoke your ass In front of Everyone. Man is a savage
Nobody was safe, Bill Burr said if you were having a good night and on fire roasting the other comics at the comedy clubs and you saw Patrice walk in your heart sank because you knew it was over. Like ok here comes dad. The man captivated the whole room where ever he was.
The one negative thing about Patrice having so much content available online is at times you almost think he is still around. Rest in Peace

Patrice was ahead of his time and one of the true goat's of comedy RIP big man.
He was such a natural, I hope in an alternate universe Patrice is having the same career as Richard Pryor.
lmao Patrice is what all men dream of being
A fat black guy? Lol
Meep Meepers a funny dominating unrelenting beast. Also massively fat and black lol
@@roddydykes7053 loooool
if you mean dead, then yes
The confidence for sure🙌💯🤞
I hope one day they remaster this show and give it a proper release on streaming/blu ray. This show was so goddamn good. I was a O and A fan since the WNEW days since I was 11 and these comics were responsible for a lot of my sense of humor/outlook on things.
Man, I know this is Patrice's compilation but Pat Cooper's chemistry with him was awesome. Cooper really won my respect in these last few weeks
He was too quick. There was no one better.
Vos could be quick too.
Facts
@@World_Wide_Web_Wyyzrd except you couldn’t understand him
@T Cook if you understand him you also have to speak as unclearly as Vos. It’s 60% spit and 40% dialogue
@@World_Wide_Web_Wyyzrd get out. NOW.
17:38 holy shit, Patrice's disembodied hand pointing and laughing at Kevin Hart's awful Shaq impression is one of the best things I've ever seen.
It was probably the first and last time little Kev attempted an impression of anyone.
He did that joke at Shaqs Allstar comedy jam. Shaq almost fell out his seat laughing
I love how he rips Norton apart. I was dying at the Shell-less Turtle 🐢. They were such great friends. Too many of these people died way too young.
21:21
"Oh boy, it's a great reality starring Ralphie, called 'having trouble standing' starring Ralphie May, and his co-star that thing in the front of his sweatpants"
That bit always gets me, Patrice was one of the best to ever do it man
9:35 "independent film hair" who comes up with that, fucking brilliant
You hear a lot about having an open dialogue about race. But in reality, it's a minefield. When Patrice talks about race, he's open, honest and not angry. He's quite funny too, but he really cuts to the point on issues. That's what I liked about him.
I miss him, it was the only hope we had to actually get past racism. now it will just recede into behind closed doors and resentful whispers
Exactlyyyy. Keeps race funny to keep you listening plus yes he does get to the point
I like it, from both sides. Just a couple of black and white guys having a good ol time talking shit with each other. No hang ups, just free and relaxed accepting the differences and having fun about it. How it should be
@@mattybhoy6522 ikr
him and Antony doing the 'nigga vs a nazi' taxi challenge is one of the most incredible radio bits ever
"Im not bombing, Im gonna strap one of your jokes to myself and run through Palestine"
lololol
Jews would like that
We DESPERATELY need comedians with the ability to go at eachother like this again...even though this show was hit or miss and could get uncomfortable at least everyone was put through the ringer and they all came out as better comedians... nothing comes close to the level of savagery mostly because Twitter would just get it canceled lmao
The women forcing themselves on him part and the look on that woman's face is the funniest goddamned thing I've ever seen in my life.
Spot on ! 💯
his size and that he's black are massive sources of confidence. you can say things that smaller guys can't, because few people are gonna kick your ass, and you can say a bunch of racial stuff that is given a pass which would n't be given if roles reversed. he was playing with a stacked deck. still excellent, but still he had a huge advantage

he is a truly comedy genius
There isn't one famous comedian today that Patrice didn't absolutely destroy. He is the ONLY person that I never met that I actually miss to this day. He is the greatest comic to me of all time. I really wish I could have seen him do comedy now.
Amen to that him and norm my top favorites
"Why can't he just say he's given the jobs to his friends?"
Damn that quote aged perfectly
About every couple of months I go back and watch Patrice for a few days. Man, I really wish he was here today. Such an awesome dude.
"gimme back my ten " 😂
I could watch another half hour of that.
"He's from the sun"
Holy shit I'm losing my breath from laughing so hard.
I didn't get it at first ,until I though about it and it was genius. Two seconds ran in my head to get it
This could just be a super cut of all of patrice's laughs, and I would still enjoy it.
You are sorely missed, Patrice.🙏
He went after comics who used prepared material with a vengeance, he couldn't stand unfunny hacks.....
Most comedians are joke warehouses. Patrice and a few others are joke factories.
@@andrewryan2814 this is a genius way of putting it
The warehouse, factory comparison is a good one.
"good one, kevin bacon's uncle" haha i love patrice
Kevin Niduaza, lol!
Summed up and dismissed the man entirely in a line
These people were SO SALTY behind that laughing 😂 😂😂
Starring Ralphie May and that thing in the front of his sweat pants.
Fuuuuccccckkkkkkk. Ded.
yes he is.
Top 3 moments from this video for me
Ralphie May had no business being in the same room with Patrice
@@j2times2006 ralphie looked offended
There's levels to this and not many were on Patrice level.
It's sad to see Patrice and Greg Giraldo in these clips. Two legends lost before their prime.
One of the reasons Patrice is so huge here in the UK is that his quick witted humor and him being great at insulting others is very similar to ours
"Sir, get back here with your shoe box sign."
18:04 "Get back over here with that shoebox sign" LOL
LMFAOOOOO
He's so polite while being a dick too
lol his sign was so important he cut up a shoebox
but you gotta give some credit to the shoe box sign guy - he very quickly realized that he is bombing the wrong interview :D

He is one dude I never wanted to go see live...and that’s because at any point he could spot you and smoke your ass In front of
Everyone. Man is a savage
I would fucking love it if he did that to me
Nobody was safe, Bill Burr said if you were having a good night and on fire roasting the other comics at the comedy clubs and you saw Patrice walk in your heart sank because you knew it was over. Like ok here comes dad. The man captivated the whole room where ever he was.
I know people wouldn't believe this but Patrice was actually trying to help Dat Phan, his way of saying, relax, just roll with us.
he's from the sun"
HOLY SHIT, that was the shortest line that made me laugh so hard.
Patrice is always real. Then keeps it really real with that earl Campbell jersey. I'm crushed that his material is now finite.
love how Patrice can roast someone about their body figure and them not be able to come up with a comeback.
It would be too hacky, that's why he could get away with it. Geraldo pulled a good one off in these clips.
@@cactusmalone didn’t he die if diabetes? thats fat my guy
Just discovered Patrice. He has to be one of the GOAT's of comedy
