These videos are well made and are explained clearly enough for even a boating novice such as myself to understand. They are certainly giving me the confidence that I could own, run and maintain my own narrowboat.
Thanks for making n sharing this video, vary interesting indeed. I am from the USA, in my early 60s n am/have been yearning to live on a NB in the UK n travel the canals for sometime now. Hopefully one day before my health dwindles.... Any way vids like yours give me both some education n hope that one day it will happen...
Having some issues with a Perkins engine, keel cooled that is overheating, the pipes to the box-cooler seem to be empty when squeesed, and the temp gauge shows 180 degrees, I guess it might be the thermostat, what do you think !!!! (Its not the water pump ceased as the belt is still turning ok.) Can't afford expensive engineer so it a dIY job.... Thaks

Your videos are very well made, you speak slowly and clearly and explain the subject with just enough detail to satisfy everyone. Well done sir.
Love your videos. As a Marine Mechanic, I appreciate your professionalism.....
That was very interesting. I know a fair bit about motorbike, car and truck engines but keel cooling and weed hatches were quite a revalation to me.
Hi, thanks again for your comment. Without seeing the engine it is difficult to say what could/is wrong with it.
Thanks for your comments! Yes it is easy when you know how!
Glad the videos are of use! We will hopefully be posting some more shortly!
