- Whilton Marina have created a video showing how to work a Webasto (a diesel heating system). There are also other diesel heating brands which work in a smiliar way. These are Eberspacher and Mikuni.

Great demonstration. I also learned that the unit can clogg itself up if the power is disconnected while the webasto is at full heating. This leaves unburnt fuel in the chamber and if the user is disconnecting power to shut it down quickly several times , it will eventually refuse to start up again without an expensive dismantle and repair prosess. The uninterrupted cool down is very important to the system.

it would be great to have a video on flushing out engine coolant , which is how I found you! however I have now sat and watched about 6 of yours and everyone taught me something , keep doing them!

I'm looking into the possibilty of one of these for my boat but doesn't that jet turbine noise get on your nerves? Sounds like the taxiway of an airport.
Hi, I have a Webasto 66887K on our 57 foot narrow boat, this is a two year old boat and my heating system has just starting to play up!!! The control lights up and the heat exchanger is getting very hot but there is a bubbling noise and the central heating is not getting hot or water tank. any ideas what this could be, I am presuming this could be maintenance
of the heat exchange any ideas would be appreciated!!!
Hi Debbie, it is a maintenance issue. Have you had your Webasto serviced in the last 12 months? if not you need to find a Webasto specialist near you and get your system serviced.

+Phen0mable Heating costs vary depending on usage. Webasto quotes a figure of 0.25 to 0.5 litres of fuel per hour, depending on the load.
