    I think we recognise that fine looking vessel😂. What a cracking video, and a great job! The webasto has run incredibly smoothly since. I've been watching your videos for a while now, and slowly getting my head around the black magic that is narrowboat electrics. Next job, upgrade the domestic battery bank, lead carbon or lithium.. More reading required! Thanks again 👍

      Ah yes! I hadn't realized you were RUclipsrs now! Both good choices. With LC they are an easy fit, and maybe with an alternator to battery charger as icing on cake. Thats what I have. Of course lithium will work wonders but you'll have to did deep into those pockets and think about location, lifestyle and get used to a bit more of a complex system.

    Would have been nice to see the voltage with the glow plug running once you changed the plugs.
    Great vid as always 👍

      Yep, cant argue with that. As I'm often keen to get jobs completed, I do miss the odd thing when I come to edit. I promise to try harder lol

      Hi Rich, It will often relate to the condition of the burner, as they get older they may produce a bit more smoke on start up. It is clear when running full load? When was burner last changed?

      @ricksoftmedia5825 Год назад +1

      @@narrowboatelectrician Howdy, the burner has never been replaced in 14 years but not used that much and after startup burns clean just on cold start up quite Smokey. On another note wonder where you are based you never know when I might need something thanks for the reply Rich

    great vid find them informative, water in the box you dont consider that a problem?

    • @narrowboatelectrician
      @narrowboatelectrician  Год назад

      Hi Peter, it wasn’t but could be. The drain holes around the deck are clogged up, causing the channel to overflow into engine bay. I informed custody of that who is going to clear them out. It’s not a weather proof box that’s been installed.
