This is one of the coolest Hot Rods I've seen. Simple, and driveable, but, old school. The use of vintage parts really sets this one above the rest. Thanks scottie.
Awesome scottie, top marks to Ricky on building a clean smooth pickup with some nice touches and a very cool flathead........ hope your feeling better too
I didn't know Mercury made a pickup, then he said in Canada they did. This Rod is classic, simple, nothing over the top. I like it. Baby moon hubcaps make it Cool. The Lil merc motor will get ya there with overdrive.
Stupid beautiful tight precision build. Love the way you did the Flathead. If that is a factory correct Merc/Ford color, what is the name and color code?
This is an old video but it should be a lesson to others on how to build a traditional hot rod. Lesson one: No ugly horrible looking disk brakes! Great job Ricky!
Seems like Ricky Bobby doesn't have much use for fenders. LOL! Seems like a really nice guy and he does excellent work. Thank you Scottie. I really like the videos where you get an interview with the owner or builder and I know you can't always do that but just saying.
Yeah like that Truck Scottie, Thanks for sharing. Not sure I like the brake pipes on view in the cab but everything else is stunning and well thought out. Love that 40 Dash, and the flathead looks cool as.. Keep them old Trucks coming Brother! Seeya!
Nice looking and sounding Ford. As the builder admits, there was no such animal as a '34 Mercury truck. In the late '40's and early '50's Ford trucks were rebadged for the Canadian market.
Hey, meet Ricky last year at autorama Detroit. He let me climb in and out of both cars he was showing. A true gentlemen that builds some outstanding hotrod. Love his work
