Call it a rat rod, hot rod, or whatever you like, but it's definitely cool. This custom 1936 Ford has all the tough hot rod looks, but with a few modern conveniences thrown in. It's powered by a 350 small block Chevy V8, topped with an Edelbrock 4 BBL carb. The power is being sent through a turbo 350 automatic, back to a 9" Ford rear with 3.27 gears. They have added disc brakes, an aluminum radiator, an electric fan, power windows, custom Jack Daniels bed floor, tinted and double laminated glass, aftermarket gauges, and even a couple auxiliary power outlets for your cell phone, GPS, etc. It fires right up and it sounds mean with those headers coming straight out the sides. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for taking a look!
This video was filmed at Passing Lane Motors in Fenton, Missouri.

I actually just bought this truck from a fella in Athens OH. Crazy to see it on RUclips from 6yrs ago. It’s an absolute blast, and a head turner!
The cab is a 38 ford , the chop is about 4" the same as mine , Still it looks nice and I think he did a good job.
Again with the killer intro video!!! I like the shot of the cigar box guitar. And that bed floor... Wow.
Thanks Greg, glad you liked it!
I love this truck. Damn fine work here. BUT. C'MON ! A CHEVY MOTOR !?
At least pi a Hemi in it
Good stuff Bud!! Love the early 30's Street Rods, especially the Chevy powered Fords!!☺
Yep, right up your alley eh. Thanks for taking a look my friend!
Love the direction your going with these cinematic intros Jeff/Jordan, the camera angles to the transitions from different angles, even the music makes it like it's professionally made!
Thanks Luke, as soon as the weather improves, we'll be able to put it all together with some test drives.
Love the paint color
Really impressed with the cigar box guitar. You could use that image and sound as an intro to all your videos.
Thank you, that's my favorite guitar that I've built. Thanks for watching, we appreciate it.
Very sweet truck and tastefully done. I'm in the market for a '36 Ford p/u but...chevy drivetrain doesn't do it for me. Wish it had a 302 Ford mill. The search continues. Thanks for sharing!
Superb filming and music choice :) The hot rod has oodles of character.
Thanks my friend, appreciate you taking a look!
This is a sweet little hot rod! Love the chop, it's not too much. Very clean overall. Thanks for sharing,
Ethan
Thanks for taking a look Ethan, glad you like it!
Super nice Jeff, the blue oval looks great on tan. Painted air cleaner looks surprisingly good .Agree with Animal...would be better with a 302 Ford.
It's a nice looking hot rod for sure. Putting a Ford engine back in would be cool. Thanks for having a look!
Awesome Hotrod and the different video shots of It are Great ..Lets make a Moonshine run in it just for the Thrill of it
Sounds good to me.
That's a cool truck!
Thanks for taking a look Sam!
Very, very cool, thanks for the video!
Thanks, glad you liked it!
i dig the jack daniel's bed floor. with all that torque, those thin tires and no weight over the rear end you'd have to drink some to be brave enough to drive this sucker in the rain. which is illegal so nope.
Yeah, it has a tiny windshield wiper, but I think that is more for legality reasons. This thing would be a handful in rain.
Awsome hot rod a real 🏩hotie fast this truck must be, thanks jeff and Jordan for this video 🤟🐱🤩from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️ 💎 Diamond you Are
Thanks for checking it out Tom!
@@RamblinAround thanks jeff and Jordan for your feedback i have just ordered a hodie in black with Jordans gto 2, i AM looking forward to get it, thanks again jeff and Jordan and erika Sam asher and beans, from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️ 💎 😎 😊 😊
+Howard Sherbeck Thank you for the kind words, I really do appreciate it.
Who ever built it built it to be a driver. Drive it across country it has a windshield wiper. Yup show and Go.
Ramblin, Your Video work is Awesome! Great Music, and camera work. I love the "Oil Bath air-cleaner" Looks like the one from my 58' Chevy Pickup. [Mine still has oil] This 36' is not overdone. One of my biggest gripes,is the trend to "Hack the Dash" Nice to see mostly Orig. The bed work is very clever! I love the Tan paint. The price is reasonable too.
Thank you, we appreciate that. There is a lot to like about this ol' hot rod. Thanks for checking it out!
NICE BED AND GOOD VIDEO
That bed is pretty cool. Thanks for taking a look!
Very high quality video work. A good buy on that truck.
1936 Ford Hot Rod Pickup...Jack Daniels Bed Floor
I'd have to put a "Ford" motor in it!
That would be nice. At least it already has a 9" Ford in the back. Thanks for taking a look!
Beautiful
That's just so beautiful
Another well done video , cool hot rod , with it being a Ford and all the Ford badging would just like to see a Ford engine , thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for having a look!
Very cool!!!
Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it! Haven't seen a video from you all in a while, hope you're doing well.
Sweet truck! :)
clean ride
Badass truck. 🤘🏻💀
This is not a 1936 Ford pickup. 36 Fords did not have a split windshield. It's either a 1937 o r 1938 Ford. Title would not match frame. buy at your own risk.
Great Truck!
Nice ! Price is right. Would cost that much to build.
You're right, I'm sure it would cost quite a bit to build. Thanks for taking a look!
thumbs up for the music
Niiiiiiiicccccceeeeeee!!!!!!
Porque dice 36 ?? Es claramente una cabina 1938 Ford
slick machine & great shots man! using any special equipment?
Thanks my friend! Nothing fancy, just whatever equipment Jordan, the mad scientist, comes up with. Thanks for watching.
Needs an aluminum Coyote motor in it ;)
Why do rod builders insist on using SBC instead of FORD WINDSOR or CLEVELAND engines?
I would love to build one with a Windsor with Cleveland heads.
Bad A hot rod truck!
gee.... what about the Huge hole in the floor..
Who's the builder ? Love to buy. Aloha
Where you playing the guitar?
James Amescua That is me with the guitar, but no I wasn't playing the actual background track.
I want to buy I can enter it the State of Kuwait ؟
thats a 38 ford cab... so not a 36
That isn't a 1936 cab, or grill shell, or bed..
That is not a 36
beautiful but WHY the hell did you ruin it with that bastard chevy motor and trans. although i am a hipacrit cause i have one with a cali chop like this with a 3800 v6 monte carlo engine turbo charged but gonna change it to a ford motor probably a coyote.
ruined.. when you said powered by chevy... all that detail to ford and stuff a chevy in it... sad
Thumper agreed and disc brakes but still nice build.
