    Not the most thorough explanation, but well done! I'm considering adding a handheld fixture to my new-construction shower that only has a rainfall fixture at the moment. I'd like to get it done before finishing the outer wall, but this could be a bit trickier than I was hoping. Thanks for the video.

    At 1:13, the two different length pipes at the end, did you connect those to "complete the loop" or are those pipes coming from somewhere else? In one of the comments, Brunotisk mentions a missing step and how his attempt to mimic this system didn't work. Could that possibly be it?

      That second pipe at the end shower head. Is that part of the loop or something else

    A bit of a waste if you are the only one in shower. Should have had divertors for each head.you still couldve did a balancing loop for the divertors..that is odd...

    So the multiple shower heads are being turned on or off all at the same time, right? In other words, there isn't any diverter to control the flow of water to any one of the shower heads?!

    What brand and model is that shower valve? Is it a 3/4 inlet valve?

    This is 3/4" line though. I'm fixing to try this with 1/2"

    Just like when u do irrigation. Loop all heads instead of snaking them. All even pressure!

    u have a good idea but how do u control or separate one from the other. let's say u only want to use the shower head only!

      You would install a diverter and that was recommended, but it was at the customers request to have all three operate at the same time

      @@QueenCity you tee off your line to your main shower head before that tee. And then to the secondary diverter so one controls main head and other can turn all three at once

    New house. Have shower head and two jets. Using single diverter. Result: Can’t run at same time. Water pressure just plain limp. It’s either or. How do you plumb to get equal pressure for both at same time. Separate lines and controls?

      It sounds like the pressure problem is because maybe the shower control has 1/2" inlets?.or undersized water pipes leading to it..you can maybe take out water restrictors from the shower head and sprays maybe that might help.but it sounds like an under sized piping issue.and for that there's no fixing. Maybe the builder has pictures of the shower rough in before the sheetrock went up.

      You don't. With this system you have zero controll. It may have been prudent (and probably less work) to install a second and or third shower diverter.

    You're still demanding more gallons per head regardless of the loops. If you really wanted to hold pressure and flow you would upgrade to 3/4 lines as required by most manufacturers. Would have liked to see a completed video.

    I wanna make an outside shower, where would you get the shower heads and also, do you have to bring your main closer to where the shower is going to be, to maintain a pressure ?

    What size line is that? 1/2 or 3/4? What kind of psi do you see at the fixture with all three running at the same time?

    How do you deal with waiting for the water to in such a line to get to the desired temperature? It seems like you have twice the time and twice the waste at a minimum???? What is your experience?

      I feel that the amount of water needed to flush the water out of the lines after the valve is negligible compared the amount of water you need to flush from the heater to the valve + the amount of water used to actually shower.

      @@koloscoler4410 you are suggesting that you do not (in this configuration) need to flush water in the line from the water heater to the valve. True? It seems to me that the water in the line before the valve is only longer and containing more cold water that will be mixing with the water from the heater.... hence my question. It does not seem to reduce water usage at all and I suspect creates waist greater than the standard configuration and so I would not consider any additional waist negligible. Unless you are suggesting that the water is being recirculated using a circulation pump.

      @@koloscoler4410 this appears to only to be addressing pressure and I do not think it is doing anything in terms of regulation or equalization.

    you dont have anything soldered up..why not?..maybe you guys should get a Pro-Press instead of setting stuff on fire?..your pipe fitting skills are damn good !..ive been a plumber in kansas City for over 30yrs i know what im looking at..good-upload!

      Chad Simmons well it was all soldered up by the time the inspector got there. I was just showing how we had to loop system so you don't lose pressure.

      Yes sir i do understand..and when that pressure gauge holds at 100psi..it always makes me smile..you guys did a neat job! i wouldnt advise people to try that kind of complicated work on their own..but your up-load gives them an idea of what they should be paying for..thank you for doing that Mr.Roger

    So you do the loop off the top of the shower valve..Then you tie your loop back into the main with a T Im guessing. Which just gives the water two directions to go..Which this makes it so you do not lose your pressure? ( Yes I am a plumber) Just seeing if Im on track..I was thinking about putting another shower head in my other side of my shower. But I would just put another shower valve so that I can not use it if I dont want to. But cool video!

      Do it your way..if you want to shower with your significant other. You could do a balancing loop but then both shower heads are running all the time(at same temperature). Even if you do seperate shower divertors(volume controls you should balance loop then but then you still have the same temperature for both heads..if you have the shower walls open just run 3/4 lines to a new body and there you go!

      @@MachFredy definitely not how if do it. Unless maybe you want all of the showerheads on nonstop. It’s just a preference thing. The one I have you can have the water come out of all of them or you can change it to one or the other.

      @@FamilyChannelfun32 i understand, so loop it if those heads always come on with one valve (so you don't lose pressure as they travel down the loop), and add more valves for people to choose what they want, thanks man, trying to learn DIY stuff for the future

    Dope but why not run bigger lines and have multiple valves? I get having 3 heads running at the same time but couldn't you just have a master so you wouldnt have to deal with all 3? I know the concept seems busy but if you already have all 3 the same temp it would just be simple valves.

      I think I get what you're saying, but wouldn't that still cause a loss of water pressure if you have multiple outlets open simultaneously?
