This week our team spent several days excavating multiple historic towns in search of lost and forgotten treasures! Little did we know the HOLY GRAIL of antique bottles was buried just beneath our feet! We love metal detecting and bottle digging but nothing could have prepared us for this EPIC discovery!

Of course I like longer but I’m not the one researching,getting permission,organizing,digging often in wet cold or hot weather,filming,editing,maintaining the channel after working and being a good husband father and all around good man.

Wow!! This was great. Congrats on the Jack Daniel’s bottle. I was surprised when I heard you say Hopkinsville, KY on 1 bottle find. We lived in Clifty & Elkton, KY for yrs. Some of our Drs were in Hoptown (as the people in that area call Hopkinsville) I did most all my grocery shopping there. We’ve toured all the whiskey distilleries through the past many years. When we were digging down around Suisun Bay in the bay area. That was our day every time we went. Knee-deep in water. We actually learned to live with it. It was nice because you can rinse every bottle as you brought it out. Sorry second comment.😊 Nice JD. Congratulations.
I do LOVE the longer videos. My favorite find was by far the Jack bottle, I hope you never sell it. I love the creek walk videos ,that you do with Miranda and her finding the old glass for her jewelry, I would like to see her working some of the glass , the tumbled glass and a finished product, It doesn't have to be long, just a shortish clip, but she is part of the crew!
We do appreciate you trying to make these longer. At the 9:49 time stamp I was ready to get up and start my day but hot dang there's 11 more minutes. With you working full-time it's going to be difficult so just give us what you can. It is nice to sit here for 20 minutes watching your video but you got to do what you got to do. Congratulations on finally getting your Jack Daniels bottle! I was just reading up on that Fellows' syrup and found something interesting. Not only was the food making them sick but that syrup contained strychnine!! So they were eating unrefrigerated food, that was making them sick, but they were slowly poisoning themselves with strychnine in addition to the lead from the bottle stoppers. It's a wonder anybody lived to the age of 30!

That Kentucky bottle is cool, I live in Hopkinsville! We live close to western Kentucky coalfields. The L@N and Illinois Central Railroads ran right through Hopkinsville, so it makes sense that it could of came down y’all’s way on a coal train
Great video. That small milk is actually a creamer. In the 50’s (and maybe earlier, I came along in 1949) cafes and restaurants would have those and served them full of cream with coffee. They had paper tops, much like the larger milk bottles.
I'm just happy to be getting a new video every Friday, so whether they're long or short doesn't matter much to me. They were good at food preservation. Everyone was sick back then because of the industrialization of food.

Love to see marbles come out. Hit a pocket of them myself that spilled out of a Mason jar, some were still in it. Running total 129 marbles. Bottles aren't anything worth anything but digging marbles is at least fun.

Pop's here. Having been a boat family. When the industry came out with solar powered bilde pumps we installed one. They are small and install easily. That would come in handy to clear that water...
