I'm here for the medicine/ small bottles...great finds! To answer you about the Kilmer bottle - The 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act banned the use of the word "cure" on bottles or in advertising in the U.S.
Nice hunt, Brandon. I see someone already posted about the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act on the "cure" and "remedy" language. Great finds! Have a great Easter holiday! Take care, be safe and God bless!
Great Video. Thomas and Isaiah will enjoy this one!! Hopefully, we will be digging tomorrow. Seeing all the bottles at the show in dalton a couple of weekends ago has got us all fired up to find some!!!
Congratulations guys on finding all those embossed soda bottles! Those jugs were a happy surprise to be intact, great work Brandon, Miranda and Tristan! You guys always make my day super exciting! Happy Easter weekend to all of you wonderful friends!!
Throughly enjoying the videos. Wish I knew back in the day what I know now. We used to have a dump on the property we used to own. I used to find bottles and other things. I had a bunch of bottles but I didn’t hold onto them.
I always wondered about your collection. Yes, show us more, lol. I've been showing mine on your Facebook bottle group. Best part of yours is that yours is that you dug them. Lots of hard work! Sadly, mine are bought in antique stores and flea markets. But one day, I'll dug up some cool relics. Great video!
Nice jugs. And yes I am talking about the two that Brandon pulled out of the hole. Great dig guys. It was nice. This video being a little longer. Thank you. Hope you guys are doing well. Take care.😊
Ok, ok!! I've got to wait til the end to comment!😂 And another cool jug!!! So many new and interesting finds! I hope you will let us know what you learn about their history! Awesome video! Loved seeing your collection! Ever so jealous!💜💜💜
I enjoyed seeing your collection. The bottles are so beautiful when they're cleaned up, something that's not easy to see through the dirt on them. That little cup and saucer was sweet! Thanks for taking us along on the hunt. 😊
Im so glad i found your channel! This is very nostalgic for me. My grand parents bought 3 acres of land that were a landfill when i was 4 (im 47 now). It had been cleared of the large stuff, minus a few cars buried in a trench, but still had bottles and marbles and coins all over. My grandfather wanted to pick uo all the broken glass so my cousins and I could walk barefoot on the property (we're very country lol). Every late afternoon or early morning we would go out with bags and walk the property. We found so much treasure. We found an entire crown royal bag full of marbles, a pickle jar of coins and so many old bottles. I still ti this day treasure and rock hunting. I mostly have found so much fishing tackle and all kinds of rocks. Didnt think to pick up old bottles and sell them, but im definitely gonna start! I absolutely love this channel!
Greetings Brandon and Happy Easter weekend to y'all. I believe the dark green embossed glass ball you guys found is an old fire gernade. That was an awesome dig. You have a fantastic bottle collection. Take care and best regards to everyone !
While watching you dig that jug, hubby asked what was wrong and said i looked funny. I had to tell him i was just holding my breath hoping the jug was whole....😂😂😂❤❤❤
great video, that gives you the incentive to go out and be hunting for great bottles. it is especially so much better when hunting with friends and enjoying their company! nice day, nice friends and great finds! Have a great day Aaron, bless you and your family!
It’s always a mystery to see what great bottles n some jugs that you’ll find. I must admit I love the jugs. It’s to bad that they aren’t stamped but I’d be happy with just one. You all found some good ones on this day. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟
I certainly do enjoy seeing cleaned bottles and recovered relics in your collection. So yeah, let's see more as closing sequences or "outros" to future videos. Incidentally, for whatever it's worth, I respect much more the bottle and relic hunters, metal detectorists and video producers who are also passionate collectors of the items they recover rather than those who are just in it for the money.
@@adventurearchaeology Naw, you'd def want them in a sheltered spot... but it might be a cool use.. I'm in Mo... got big CHONKS of borer killed ash laying on the ground to attest to the winds here.
Such a wide variety of glass coming from this spot. I have a really difficult question for you Brandon. What is your overall favorite piece in your collection? I know its not gonna be easy to choose, but im curious to know and could you show us in a future video? Thanks for all you do to keep us entertained and informed of this hobby we all love and as always, Thanks for taking us along
I think my favorite dig ever was the J.Fox Whiskey from a couple months back! It was local and one of less than 4 known. It’s a bottle that will always stay in the family hopefully!
The cincinatti whiskey looked like it might of spelled whiskey wrong, it was hard to tell, but it kinda looked like the h and i were messed up. Could of just been the mud, but give it a look and let me know. 😊
@@adventurearchaeology I'm an accident looking for a place to happen. I'd be the one to find the hole and be in it real quick. Thanks for answering my question. Love watching the channel and the excitement that builds as you dig deeper. Thank you for the time and energy it takes to film, edit, and upload these videos.

The Kilmers bottle....the word "Cure" was changed to "Remedy" with the passage of the Food & Drug Act in 1906..... I think ...
That little Morton photo bottle is amazing!! I used to work for Morton paints a looong time ago!
Oh , I just watched this on Facebook !

Brandon, you could also make a windchime out of those coke bottles you are going to cut the bottom out of. I WOULD LOVE to purchase one of those.
The green globe looks like a part of an oil lamp.
♥ Incredible! ♥
Another great video!!!!
Good to see your bride doing some commentary
Wonderful as always.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Brandon. 2 beautiful Jugs in one day!! Awesome brother! I would love to see more of your collection
Was the round glass with stars an early Christmas decoration?
I’m pretty sure it’s a lantern or lightening rod ball.

How do you find these old dump sites? Nobody does this where I live and I live in one of the first explored towns in North America

How do you guys clean those bottles , and make them so presentable ?

If I remember right, the food and drug act of 1906 required the change from cure to remedy.
You should film the cleaning process

Wow, cute doll cup and saucer
Nice display, I have something similar for my collection. Always nice to see the private stock 👍
Definitely a lightning rod ball
Amazing cabinet of bottles. That Standard bottling works you recently found sure cleaned up amazingly.
Have you guys ever used a wiggle pick ?
We’ve tried but haven’t had much success with it.
Wind chime bells out of those ones you cut the heels off??
We get some crazy winds and I’m afraid they’d just shatter!

Pop's here. How far do you go before you drop the overhang.
As far as we can safely haha!
Green globe could of possibly been a fire extinguisher bomb as well.
Question.... Do you fill the holes that you guys dug or leave it for nature to take care of?
We refill 😎

Brandon, I found a Chero-Cola bottle from Chattanooga Tn today. It’s the aqua variant. How can I tell the age?
There is a chart that can be googled that has age and picture variations listed in order.
Ayer's is just another classic New England medicine company from Lowell Mass, competition to Hoods.
I can’t find Clayton’s video page. Could you help a guy out with a name please.
Clayton doesn’t make videos sorry!
Um, excuse me but you forgot to mention Miranda when you said there was a full crew today, and I take offense at that!
lol she always the center of attention don’t worry haha!

The landowners cat! Haha
A question for you folk? Is the rumour of windshield repair kits fixing bottle cracks true?
Truthfully we’ve never tried it!
