Elliot, this is a great video and an awesome list bro. However, you missed out on 1 HUGE controversial Nike Release, and that was Nike Freddy Krueger Dunk Lows…. The story behind these were so controversial and the resale prices on these are insane! These are definitely a forgotten pair of sneakers that were banned and of course people got their hands on them after boutiques decided to resell them anyways.
He talked about them in one of the previous videos based on a similar idea

I would have taken off the USPS Forces and put the Nike Decades on here instead.Those shoes got binned really fast after their direct relation to the Heavens Gate cult suicides. Also the Freddy Krueger SB’s could have easily been on here. Long story short, Nike likes making controversial sneakers

Yo awesome vid but the alphafly portion is a bit inaccurate. The version that Eliud wore was essentially the same exact shoe minus a couple stitching hits that were removed. The 3 carbon plates was initially a patent that did not go through before production of the shoe was even begun. Virtually no prototypes were ever made with the 3 plates and 4 zoom units and the regulations came to the sport for stack height and plates as a response to this shoe, not Nike breaking the rules. There was just never a shoe made like this so action was taken to keep all companies and athletes as happy as possible while still allowing technological advancements to be made by all brands with the new discovery. I thought they had 2 plates when Running shoes off the track that was soon changed to 1 due to how they used the plates to make a spring? Also, a rule states now that for events made open to the public where a legal world record could be broken, using rules on what makes up a world record road course, that shoes used in the record have to be made available to the public, this due to the shoes used by Nike at Rio in 2016 that allowed a few athletes to have an unfair advantage to the other runners who did not have the what were then first production beyond limited shoes. The rule was made incase other companies found a newer shoe midsole material that is even lighter then the stuff Nike and others are using with the heated TPU midsole or a better type of footplate that is better at returning the energy. Trail running most events only allow two plates as long as the one used for a Rock plate is either stiff carbon fiber or made of a stiff plastic with no flex to it, banning metal foot plates under this rule not that many rock plates in shoe models if any were ever made of metal.

There was a Track shoe ban in the 1960's from Puma that violated the 6 pin rule they had as the max for most Olympic and similar events track shoes at the time having a bunch of little spikes about as many as the sports company from the 1800's had been around. Now some field shoes could have 2 extra heel spikes depending on the event at the time like Javelin or High Jump as the two big main ones. A person from the USA set a world record in them at the USA track and field trials for the Olympics that was later recinded. Turns out the guy was wearing the shoes in NCAA events where they did not until after that incident have a rule of no more then __ number of spikes in the shoes, not sure if it is 12, 10, or 8 in max spikes for the NCAA but I know the Olympics, World Track & Field and Dimond league events at some point allowed up to 8 as one model Adidas had for sprinting in the 2000's and early 2010's until the 2012 Olympics had 8 spikes and nobody using/sponsored by Adidas was busted for using the 2 extra spikes if using that model when another model almost the same bottom profile but only 6 spikes was actually better for sprinting due to less weight on top yet same flexibility. I think a few sprinters like a 400 meter white guy from USA were under contract to wear said shoe by Adidas just as a marketing gimmick for the Bejing Olympics, the Bejing model and 2012 London with the 2012 model.

Nike should’ve stood their ground on the shoe that upset the Muslim community. That logo may look similar from 50ft away but it’s in no way the same.
