Of course - most women & a small minority of men are.
Yes. Sometimes, it's an unconscious safety mechanism to keep love at bay. Start with choosing 5 non-negotiables to watch for. Consciously practice looking for reasons anything else could be a deal maker (or at minimum, not a deal breaker). When something comes up you're not sure fits in the non-negotiable category, question with curiosity and the intention to make it a non-dealbreaker. (This advice is for those who are TOO picky, NOT for those who tend to ignore red flags.)
Nice first date 7 tips. I do all 6 of them except 1. dressing to impress. I might do more if I'm very, very interested, but most of the time I dress normally (not a slouch) and since I have the 6 others in the bag, my ratio is pretty good.

Feeling safe is understandable, but how about picking her up from home(by car)? This can be dangerous, yet I heard many women requiring it. I myself don't want to be the driver for a woman I don't even know.
Hmmm. I'll always suggest I pick up as my preference but completely allow for separate meeting.
Best to ask her what she's comfortable with. If you've know each other for awhile or through mutual acquaintances, she might appreciate it (or require it). If you met on a dating site, she'll appreciate the thoughtfulness but more likely want to meet at the venue.

From a biological standpoint, yes. But you don't have to memorize hormones, just have fun, be curious, and throw in a "safe" (to a woman) amount of "danger".

I susp ect a lot of men today need good advice on making a good first impression. Anna says on her introduction that men could benefit from advice that works for having better relations with women. So what is Anna's advice on that. For men who are not dating, it seems men have three options: 1. mind your own business and avoid women if you choose, 2. extend the basic dignities and courtesy to woman in times with minimal conversations, 3. hope your timing is on if you choose to strike some conversation to break the ice. Seems like Anna would have a lenghty list to help out here.
Women live by emotions, feelings, and hormones. These change daily. They are definitely a moving target with various rewards when you do. Men remember it's always on you to prove yourself. Just got ghosted after a first date. 4 weeks of texting,waiting and everything all for nothing. Even bought and brought her the chocolate she said she liked very much. Physically I look better than her,me a solid 7,she's a 4, 5 maybe on weddings. Had a conversation,walked for hours,got to know each other,I was kind and polite,tried to be funny at times,got ourselves drinks and later on presented her the chocolate as a nice gesture and still got no phone number and not a word from her since. Why should I invest this much time and effort for someone at a first date. If she doesn't like my company and not feel safe in my presence it is not (always) my problem. And besides you will never know if you are an option to her. Just focus on having good time and observe her body language and words. If she is one stand lady she will make it obvious or if she looks for something serious... Go to first date with some confidence and let her think if she is open for second or third date.

I had first dates I wished to be rejected afterward, even in the first 15 minutes of a date I regretted I was there. The BEST for a man is to know his needs first, not a woman's needs.
I did not make the best impression on my first date. I farted as i was leaning toward her for my first kiss, and she did not call me back ever again. That happened in the early 90s. Most women are hypocrite as if they don't break wind inadvertently. Was that a crime for not getting a call back folks?
Be a tall, good looking guy. Take your date some place where other ladies ogle you in front of your date. Pay for date. Your date will be like, “Dang, I got a good one.”.

A dating site I recently was on, offered me 1 month membership for £5 again, so I joined.
I have a 1st date with a lady tomorrow. We both agreed to keep it as friends. We are meeting to go for a countryside walk.
Just after my previous membership ended, a lady sent me a like, so when I re-joined, I messaged her and after a few messages, she is meeting me for lunch on Tuesday.
