My favorite Nils Is Still the Reunion take on Youngstown.. My favorite Tom Morello solo is still the Hall of Fame recording and I heard it live three times on the last tour.
Wow, can't believe the negative comments on the solos. If you did not notice the mix of the audio was terrible and the guitars are really out front. So yea, it won't sound that great with a bad audio mix which i'm sure was due to how the audio was transferred after the recording. It's also "Pro Shot" which is just fancy for better that a cell phone video.

Such an underrated and Powerful Song (Ghost of Tom Joad) I was Floored when I first saw this version at the RxR HOF Show, However, it's almost becoming "Gimmicky" (Tom's Repeated Guitar wizardry part) He's a Great player and what hes doing I could never duplicate and is AMAZING!. But, using the same Riffs and Technique every time they play the song now, makes it seem (one trick pony). To me anyways. The comment is not meant to be a disrespectful or a criticism in anyway. It's just an opinion. A talent like that should be used sparingly and differently, if possible.. Anyway great video, song and performance

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was a performance no other can or should be compare to, ... standing in it's own category of great - all performance is particular to much in space and time huh...so is this one...peace
TGOTJ performance sounded worse than ever in 2014. Just compare it to the 2008 version & it's completely different. Morello just got more & more narcissistic with those effects. Is it necessary while Bruce sings?
Being a local resident of the Asbury Park area and been witness to many great local shows have to say that version of Tom Joad was one of the worst I've ever heard. Bruce did a benefit show at the Paramount Theatre for the Hurricane Irene Fund he did this solo as well as a few weeks later at the Izod Center in the Meadowlands. It is a song that should always been done acoustically and not an electric guitar anthem. Tom Morello is NOT Miami Steve...sorry...version sucked
