I sat on hold for over an hour with Earthquake tech and they couldn't answer if the belt went on the outside or inside of the two red tines. You did it in 5 seconds! Thank you!
Any ideas where I can find a new gear box/transmission for an older model 3365B? Serial #3434. lbl3365bsn (not sure what these numbers mean) No idea how old this tiller is, but it still runs great, but needs a new transmission.
Milky1514, The belt is too thick. The size measuements on the belt package were probably correct (L x W), but the "V" portion of the belt is too thick. I had the same problem on a snapper rear-tine tiller. Replaced the belt and the tines were constantly turning. Tried to loosen the pullies, just wasted my time. If you have a Tractor Supply Store in your area, try the Huskee brand replacement v-belts in the correct L x W. Worked like a charm for me.
hi, ive just fitted a new drive belt. the new belt i bought was slightly thicker in height but fitted into the pulleys. i installed everything as per your video. On starting the the rotavator. the tines spin on their own at a reduced speed so it now wont stop. why is this? plus i had to loosen the cable as it was too tight to pull the lever for the tine accelerator lever. please advise. thanks

I have the same machine…took it apart like you instructed….No drain plug…just an indentation where it’s suppose to be.
thank you for this from the UK
Thank you very much deeply appreciated.
Thank you for posting this video!
Thank you
Will this same technique work on an older unit ? Mine is a Badger Model 3365 made in 2005 - 2008 with a Briggs engine . Thanks .
Just noticed that apparently your video was uploaded apparently 12 years ago .
Also , will all the tools that I need to change the belt on my tiller be the same tools that you used ?
