I was unaware of the file to fit when I purchased my xs sights… I been babying the rear trying to get it in.. two days later, still disassembled… I don’t like how easy it is for the front sight to be off angle too. But… the sights look great.. Now if I can ever get the rear installed ,I’ll be thrilled
@@MonsterDeplorable if you end up filing it go one pass then check it. It’s crazy how little it may take. You want a semi tight fit but nothing you need to hit with a hammer 👍🏼
@ I’ve been going one pass per, and it doesn’t seem to be enough, yet. The bottom of sight is the only spot needing filed isn’t it? This sight flares out too to bottom and I hope I don’t have to fool with filing one of the flared edges. I’m anxious to get this back together lol. Thanks for responding
@ absolutely man !!! And yes just keep it as flat at possible. File the bottom only. Use a non marring plastic punch and check it. It may take a little bit really the only way to do it with out taking too much off
Never owned a pair but man to be 100% honest all night sights are steel they all do the same thing. They all have tritium. Just depends on how much you want to pay for what brand. I trust XS, made in TX, super high quality. I have them on about 5 pistols now and counting
