Your work is still as incredible as when I was a boy. I'm honored to have gotten to know you through your incredible compositions these last twenty five years.
These are definitely pieces you’d hear amidst story telling: an action or battle sequence, a stroll through a familiar place (last piece), drama and recollection.
I’m used to Joe’s profound staple pieces that are so forcefully unique in being the main themes of ghibli movies, all tying into a common theme for a particular story.
These are not something I would particularly listen to, but well done and skillfully played nonetheless.
I said this the first time I heard the other FOC pieces but now it's addictive.
