    Saitō Dōsan was defeated by his son Yoshitatsu, not by his son-in-law Oda Nobunaga, who he even considered a possible heir.

    This has to be one of the more dramatic events of the Sengoku period. Akechi Mitsuhide had a big role in the Tokugawa Shogunate becoming established.

    I just watched the entire video and I expected this to have way more views than it actually does! In my opinion the guy deserved to be "betrayed", if you can even call it that at that point.
