Do you have any information on the minor battles between the Oda and the Azai? I'm looking for anything beyond Anegawa , Yokoyamajo, Odanijo, and the initial engagement when the Azai help the Asakura. The minor battles are neglected, there are several castles in the area never mentioned and betrayals of Azai retainers that can't be traced on line. The Rokkaku are known to have resisted Oda's march on Odanijo and Yokoyamajo but little to no information on whom ,when ,and how. His march through koga and Omi in general are missing. This major period Oda's campaigns seems missing.
Not that my comment would be of any importance but in the latest Samurai Warriors game, one of the actual descendants of the Oda clan voices Oda Nobunaga
I always found it interesting that in those games (especially the first one, which has a much darker tone than all the others) how Akechi Mitsuhide is portrayed very sympathetically, as though his decision was a noble one intended to prevent further large scale bloodshed. This was awesome and can you do the Fujiwara clan next?
I suspect that one reason why Akechi Mitsuhide might have betrayed Oda Nobunaga was the dissolution of the Ashikaga shogunate. Akechi was originally Ashikaga loyalist and after the dissolution of the Ashikaga shogunate held a grudge towards Nobunaga and decided to wait for perfect moment to avenge the fate of his original masters.
Ahh, yes that does make a lot of sense.
I have read an account saying the reason why akechi betrayed nobunaga was because his mother was killed on a operation of oda forces.
Oda Nagamasu aka Urakusai was a very influential aesthete.
if you have read the manga Hyouge Mono you get it.
Uesugi Next!
If Nobunaga gets Isekai'd, he'll definitely be the one to defeat the Demon king lmao
Of course the truth is beyond us, but it's an interesting take.
This is my first time to learn search for Google with history ancestors of Japanese these years in from
1551 to 1600
In heard from historical ancestors... I will watch everyday in history
I have an uncle who’s last name is Oda and I’ve been told is related to Nobunaga
The lesson is to not be rebellious and violent. Be peaceful and not seem like a threat and people will be far more receptive to the message. 🤷🏿♂️
could you do the iga and koga clans (IK my icon is not historically correct)
Never heard of the Shiba clan before this. With them ruling over Shinano no wonder that province devolved into such a mess. Did Northern Japan become a mess because of a similar situation as well?
Actually I have been investigating and there was a branch of the shiba in northern japan which is renowned for kicking the shit out of clans like the nanbu during the 1520s-1550s
@@neroatlas9121 Ah I see. Some clans don't seem to die easily
@@yoshimitsu8922 they did die but it was like at the tail end of the sengoku jidai after they got a pissy ruler.
But they were actually the dominant power in ou to some extent for a while.
Uesugi clan next plz
Even with all the documents and investigation that we have, a lot of people still denied the existence of Yasuke, why could be?
Oda Nagamasu is actually the member of the clan with the second most notable impact after Nobunaga.
One of his informal names of Yuraku, and the Tokyo neighborhood of Yurakucho located between Ginza and the Imperial Palace is named after him because that's where his residence in Edo was.
why all the heroes in their portrait look Spanish to me , e.g. 6:06
why did you not mention anything about how he got the title "the devil king of the 7 heavens"?
UESUGI WHEN?
Is Dosan and Yoshitatsu portrait from the upcoming new Nobunaga’s Ambition game?
I wonder if successful manga writer Echiro Oda is a member of this clan
Do you play Shogun 2 Total War?
Can you do the Mori next? They're probably my favorite, partly because I favor them highly in Total War.
Can you do a video on the Sanada clan or you did already?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO !!!! #odagumi #odacorpjapan #18th #nobunaga #tenkafubu
I wonder what these guys reaction would be if they played Samurai Warrior games using their own characters. Would they think its accurate and would they be like "Doesn't sound like me" or "Wow, I look even better"
I would have faced the Oda clan, but I was too occupied.
"The enemy is at the Honoji "Akechi shouted and the most powerful clan fall
I really can't wait for uesugi. I thought kenshin was your favorite. Or you could choose to be perfect like the servant of the akamatsu lol. trust wall street on this one, they all listen to miyamoto .
An ice-skate is really just a shoe with a little katana on it.
Oda Nobunaga my idol
Nice little rip for the ashikaga lol
The board game seem amazing
There was a youtuber (now inactive) who claim to be a descendant of the Oda clan. Her name's Oda Nobuhime.
Playing shogun 2 with the 12 turn per year mod, I've managed to secure most of central Japan, wiped out the Saito, Tokugawa, and Imagawa, and Nobunaga is only 12/13 years old. 😅 When dad cuts your work out for you.
Please do one on Kuroda clan
It's kind of funny that the descendants of Tea Whisk survived to this day :D
15:53 I see you blinking there.
Tokugawa clan please
