- You can run two reverbs at the same time in BigSky MX, resulting in a huge sonic palette of possible sounds. Check out the video to see just how powerful the new features are, and how wide a variety of different sounds can be created with just a few tweaks.
All sound samples use only Iridium as the guitar amplifier.

When I bought the BigSky, I though: That's it, it can't get any better than this.
Strymon has no boudaries.
can't wait for the Timeline MX
Mag in Bloom........WOW
The 4:40 fusion lead for the "Allan Holdsworth with 8 short delays" sound was perfect. Nailed it!
Instantly sold my Cloudburst and have ordered the new Strymon Bigsky MX. Will be selling my old Bigsky as soon as the new MX arrives on my doorstep. The MX will pair nicely with my Eventide H90. I have tried many reverbs but still love the sound of Strymon reverbs!
Drowning that chorale is such a great idea!! Beautiful!!
I can already tell I'm gonna default to Magneto as one of the 'verbs when making dual engine patches!
These presets are wonderful. Not part of the factory presets, so where can you get these please?
How can did you create the lead 80 sound with the Iridium??!
미친 올게왔구나
Have had the BigSky forever and recently Cloudburst. This is way cool, but very similar...worth 700 bucks after taxes? Especially if you have a few verbs? Tough call. Sounds crazy good. Hit two chords (after turning on switch) = genius
Are all of these included from factory?
Peyote Pete rides the night
He sees his past in starlight
He hears a voice deep inside
Leather strapping wheel burning power
Moves to the shimmer and tremble
Under the secret code of his duo verbs
On his duo verbs
His duo verbs
His duo verbs
His duo verbs
He wants his effects back from the thieves
He wants his sounds in the trembling leaves
Harmonizing free from old DSPs
Beyond the limits of Schroeder's dreams
Rackmounts broken by pedals turn
Ride the impulse, propel to Saturn
On his duo verbs
His duo verbs
His duo verbs
His duo verbs
Makes me sad, imagining what Allan would have done..
He would have loved it!
I saw where there is a defect in the sound. Is this true?
Not sure what you would be referring to - most people we've heard from totally dig the way it sounds?
Boss rv500 did this over 7 years ago.
Really??
Yes @@ericmelaerts
You mean that the RV500 allowed you to run two reverbs, I would think. It most certainly doesn't allow you to run 10 second stereo impulse responses or edit the IR, have Ensemble, Choir and Harmonic engines or have Strymon sound design in it, so that comparison is missing a bit of detail maybe? The RV500 is a fun unit, no doubt, but it is not the same thing as BigSky MX.
Great machine except the "choir" stuff...
Huh…my initial reaction is this price point might hurt them….kinda like eventide’s H2 has kinda made them invisible…strymon does need better ways to hook up midi….my major complaint.
Not sure what "better ways to hook up MIDI" there are? BigSky MX has no less than THREE different MIDI connection types, in traditional DIN MIDI, TRS MIDI and MIDI over USB-C. What is it that you feel is missing?
@@strymonnothing brings out the neurotic trolls like a new strymon product. ❤u guys!
Sooooooooooooo tired of shimmer. It makes me not want things.
