I recently got this same kit. Car cranks right up but won’t disengage to go into any gear. Any input? Car shifts like butter when it’s off so I know it’s not the cables, I’ve also adjusted the cmc to spec. Regardless I’m tearing it back down but I’d like to know what you think is causing this exact issue

@@ogjhernandez2537 you should be ok with the stage 3 than, the clutch will be a lot heavier at the foot peddle if you do plan on daily your vehicle, just heads up.
You'll just undo it at the end links and let it hang on the subframe. When you drop the subframe the sway bar will be mounted with the subframe. Hopefully this helps
@@vangmotive7023 ok, in the agency, they recommend rectifying the flywheel in the case is needed. But I wonder if the kit is completely new, wouldn't it be better to replace it too?
How many cost to replace clutch kit?
Did you replace the pilot bushing too? Doing my clutch but don’t have the tool for it
Yes, what you can do is order a clutch tool on ebay. Your gonna need it. too aling it into place
Okay thank you
Does the Clutch Pedal feels Soft or Hard ?
It's slightly harder, with a kick back.

So with the car running you can't put into gears? If so bleed your system.
@@vangmotive7023 we did over and over, gonna give it one more shot though. Doing anything I can before tearing this shit down again
@@vangmotive7023 what’s the way you did it? If you don’t mind me asking. And without machines what’s the best way to
@Deetzat have someone pump it up 3-4 times and hold it down and you open the bleeder. Do it a couple of times until you get a nice Steady stream.
@@vangmotive7023 clutch disk was on backwards..
Is there any other way to hold the flywheel to take the bolts off ?
If no impact gun, use a breaker bar and socket and hold it down by the crank bolt. I don't remember if it's a 19mm but sure work
@@vangmotive7023 okay perfect I have a impact I will try that first if not I’ll do the crank bolt method 👌🏻 thanks for the reply man
@@Fb6_Adrian420 make sure you Torque the flywheel down and the pressure plate, star pattern.
@@vangmotive7023 for sure got the Torque wrench ready
Did you need hondata for the clutch system
nope. had not issue with it
Only need Hondata for the light weight flywheel. This one is lighter than stock but not the “lightweight” option

If it throwing out random misfire codes. You gotta go into hondata or what ever turner your using and turn off misfire detection.
Love your video thanks 🙏
Hey should I put a stage 3 action clutch on a stock si? 2014
It just depends on your future goals with the car. If you do plan to turbo/supercharge than yes it's fine, N/A bolt on go with stage 2.

Not needed.

When buying the Kit of the clutch, is it recommended to buy it with the flywheel or can it be without? The difference in the price is huge.
I believe you can just have your old fly wheel resurface and just use the clutch. But I would get a hold of them and see what options you have.
@@vangmotive7023 ok, in the agency, they recommend rectifying the flywheel in the case is needed. But I wonder if the kit is completely new, wouldn't it be better to replace it too?
@@josue1983 I would just replace the flywheel when doing the clutch kit, so you don't have to do it again.

I'm surprised it didn't go into limp mode due to the lighter flywheel. That happened to a friends car.
that's kind of odd that it will go into limp mode. what lb fly wheel did he go with?
That’s because you need a Hondata flaspro for a lightweight flywheel. Need to turn off knock detector
