FOR THOSE INSTALLING THE KTUNED WATER BYPASS, I suggest tapping the cylinder head and using the included hardware to guarantee the bypass won't leak. I had no issues for the first couple of weeks, but then noticed it had a slow leak from that area. After tapping and using the additional hex bolt, I've had no issues since.

Ok, I wasn’t actually looking to do anything to the intake, but actually doing a starter swap. It seemed like this was the best way to get to it. After watching your video, we decided to remove the intake manifold to get to the starter. It was absolutely the best way to get to the starter. Long story short, your video saved my ass!!! Started swapped, intake manifold reinstalled, and running and starting like a champ! Great video!! Thanks so much man!!
ive got a 7th gen accord build and this is by far the best video. i couldnt find much info on the middle parts that you had, just removing and tightening up really. but this showed me the proper way to do the fuel injectors. i wish i saw this before

RRC Intake manifold has got a factory cooling water bypass. I wonder if that fit on my K24A engine. This project gives me the creeps so far. The fun part will be awesome but so far that FD2R was giving me heartaches and headaches. Looking good and keep it up. Good and detailed video for what I could see.

You should've took the fuse for the fuel pump out then started the car it'll only run for like 3 seconds then shut off it'll clear the fuel rail of any fuel so it wouldn't be a mess

Great video as always. K24z3 right here with ported head and a crapton of mods… all motor. Looking to know more about the ZDX tb, as I was thinking about it, but kept hearing that there are voltage issues as it demands more of the ECU and needs to be pinned elsewhere or it will blow the ecu eventually. If ht stick with Skunk2.
The ZDX TB does require a pro tune as it does pull a bit more power, however has been a tested and proven option. What I have seen as well, is when people run larger TB's, they will actually open up the TB and swap a stock 9th gen TB electric motor in it, so the only thing that is different is the physical size of the port.

I don't have any vacuum leaks at all, everything is tight. Just started my tune.. did u change ur stock throttle body motor over to the zdx or no? I was thinking about doing it.

LMAO Financially speaking, I don't think going FBO on these cars is worth it, unless you are looking for long term reliability and longevity. If power is your goal, turbo / SC seems to be the way to go 👍

This video was showing you how to swap the RBC for relatively cheap. Upgrading the fuel rail does not bring any performance gains, only for aesthetic. If you're upgrading the injectors, I'd change out the rail while you're at it.

At the end of the video, I mentioned 2 ways how you can perform a TB relearn. Either of those routes will work. You will need a revised tune to get this running properly, however Hondata has some that are adequate for the time being.
I dont understand though, why spend the money to go NA on this engine that is basically hamstrung from the get-go, due to the headifold and lack of exhaust VTEC. What happened to the K24Z3 + K24A2 head idea?
The reasons I can tell: 1. Naturally aspirated reliability 2. Less complex than turbocharger install 3. Easy to return back to stock 4. Not looking for most power numbers, just enjoyment. At the same time, I do 100% understand your statement. It does cost abit and require a bunch of work to the intake and exhaust to get some a slight bump in gains from it. Quick question u didn't have a prl tb adapter where do i route the vacuum hose? Because i saw that you routed the 2nd vacuum hose to the prl adapter. I don't know where to put mine, i also have a skunk2 intake and i had to make it short ram because I can't find a coupler that fits 72mm tb that is compatible with the skunk2 intake design. Does the skunk2 have a coupler that works with the larger TB? I haven't looked into Skunk2's intake much after finding Acuity's intake kit & battery relocate. It seemed to be the best overall intake, the most well-engineered, and you can buy a bunch of different couplers should you change TBs or IMs down the road 👍
You can do all of this to the 8th gen accord. You would need everything you see here, however you would need a different intake to get it to work as the Acuity is vehicle specific.
Hey man! Finally got all my parts and everything installed cars running and all. I seem to have a leak in the Ktuned bypass adapter even with putting on the honda bond. Any ideas why it might be leaking? O ring is still perfect as well. Maybe im tightening the spring bolt too much causing a space?
@@milanmastracci after letting it sit for over a day before bleeding and filling it seemed to have stopped leaking. Ill keep monitoring. If not ill either tap the head or try the tractuff option. Thanks for your reply!
Yes you do, so you can extend the wires yourself by cutting the factory wiring harness, or you can purchase this little extension piece. When running the RBC manifold, the throttle body is mounted in a slightly different location in the engine bay, and the factory harness is not long enough.
