      Glad it was helpful! I’ll have More DIY videos for the civic as time goes on and I do more part replacements. Eventually, when I move out of California, I’d like to do a supercharger that way I don’t have to deal with smog regulations etc… thank you for watching appreciate the support!

      Awesome let me know if you need any help! My Instagram Instagram is tagged on my RUclips channel. Feel free to send me a direct message. I try to be as detailed as possible, but when I got the wrong flywheel, and my daily was down filming, unfortunately became the second priority 😭

    The actuator you pointed out is actually a shifter actuator, they have springs on em that could be upgraded for future references, which is sold by hybrid racing.

      I see. Awesome. Thank you for the information 👍Have you done the mod? I’m considering doing new cables and springs.

      I've have the springs needa throw them in I've done the detent springs and the shifts are very noticeable.
      I'd recommend those as well. I got cables too 😭 I'm just trynna get a short shifter before I throw the cables in

    You can actually do the whole job without dropping the subframe all the way, just drop it on the driver side and move the suspension as much as u can to the side and adjust as needed, ofc have support on the bottom of the tranny just in case but u should be able to rotate the transmission in the bay just fine

    • @pablosgarage707
      @pablosgarage707  2 месяца назад +1

      Agreed. For me I find it easier to just drop it and have all the room available to work with.

      @@pablosgarage707I had to do it again cuz I got smacked by a drunk driver and my clutch went out, I dropped the subframe this time cuz it’s abt the same time, ima finish it off today hopefully 😂🙏

    Is draining the fluid absolutely necessary? This is the only vid I’ve seen that’s mentioned that. Ab to do this job today and wanna make sure I’m prepared.

    • @pablosgarage707
      @pablosgarage707  5 месяцев назад +1

      Not necessary. I just did it because it was due to be changed. Also in the past on other vehicles I have left the transmissions full with fluid and when I layed them down they leaked out all over the ground. On the civic when removing the transmission it will most likely leak out of the input for the cv axles. I would drain to avoid making a mess

    Hey man not to sure if you still post or do RUclips anymore. I’m getting the fx350 installed by me and brother. Where are the exact issues you ran into? I skimmed through the video but my brother doesn’t quite have the patience. He thinks it’s an easy job, but he also did his Subaru where he had to pull the whole motor, and his 5.0. He said with all my tiny parts it’ll be a piece of cake. What do you recommend me picking up for extra help, and where will we struggle with the most you think? He’s a mechanic so he has to deal with axels and rack and pinions everyday, by other than that what do you recommend for making this job easier?

    • @pablosgarage707
      @pablosgarage707  5 месяцев назад

      This Honda is one of the easiest clutch jobs. If he’s done the clutch in his Subaru, this civic will be no problem. There really was not anything that stood out from being insanely difficult.

    How much time you think is needed if you have all the tools already? Multi-day job? My 13 is making a rattling noise down there ofc can't hear it too good over the lifter tick i have but i think maybe the fork is loose, my clutch bites practically off half an inch off the floor(not sure if that's how it's adjusted or if the cable is stretched i mean i know it's gonna bite lower than my bros mustang but I'd like the bite to be a little higher than barely off the floor)

    • @pablosgarage707
      @pablosgarage707  21 день назад +1

      It can be done in an entire day. For me I got screwed due to having the wrong flywheel. I ended up ordering the correct one and got it done. That slowed me down drastically.

    So basically you need a k24z7 clutch kit with a k20 flywheel? Also was the k20 flywheel oem weight? Did you had to tune the ECU ?

    • @pablosgarage707
      @pablosgarage707  8 месяцев назад

      I accidentally ordered that one. It was listed as oe hd however it was incorrect. I used this flywheel. www.kseriesparts.com/ACR-AC102-FFW.html identical to the Factory flywheel. No need to reflash weight is identical to stock.

      @@pablosgarage707 not really, but I did end up getting it out, it wasn't stuck actually. I didn't want to remove the intermediate shaft, so I did a gently back and forth pry and used the jack to move up and down to slowly separate the transmission from the shaft and then it came right out. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤣
