That’s normal for an Airbus during a crosswind takeoff. Unlike other aircraft, the Airbus needs to be flown with the ailerons in the neutral position during takeoff. You use rudder only to correct for crosswind and once airborne the ailerons are used, so you get a waggle on takeoff.

B-117 landing is using a DRAG CHUTE not a Parachute. This is common on most USAF fighters. Saves Brakes and really shortens the landing runway distance.

The wind shear during takeoff is precisely why all aircraft and towers need Doppler Radar that detects wind shear. This is a safety issue and concern and Doppler should be mandatory
If you are your take off roll and hit v1, you cannot stop. You'll either crash off the runway or get in the air. Wind shear can pop up fast and before you can act. Kind of a worst case scenario to have wind shear as the plane rotates. Luckily, they got in the air and we are not hearing about it on the evening news.
It was amazing I thought. So I suppose the A380 could divert and land on a much shorter runway in an Emergency situation? I guess the 787 can as well? I understand this one was not weighted with extra fuel/passengers, but it still looked like it could have landed easily at my local muni airport. Would love to know the actual distance traveled from touch till stop.
It’s funny that Spitfire brought back memories of a model I made as a kid in the 70’s and I remember the model had a mirror on the canopy area just like that real one. Just a pointless memory that came back to me when I seen that video. ✌️
The very first time I got to fly on a commercial airline, was in 81, on a 707 to Zimbabwe. Thirty minutes into the flight, we diverted to Orly Intl, on landing we were chased by a pair of fire tenders, parked on a quiet part of the airfield, and exited the plane down the emergency chutes. I thought, "hope we don't have to repeat this in Harare". Oh, and comrade Mugabe, who was on the flight, was not impressed.
The magic of the F-117, is not it's extremely small RADAR signature, as that largely comes down to the faceted geometry, where, _"angle_ _of_ _incidence_ _equals_ _angle_ _of_ _reflection"._ The RADAR absorptive paints play a very tiny role in the grand scheme of it all, in the very tiny edge cases where the geometry cannot be perfect or where concessions had to be made in the design of that geometry. The fact is that the F-117 is actually highly reflective of incoming RADAR, but it directs that reflection upwards into space and importantly away from the sending enemy RADAR, working at it's best for frontal incoming RADAR and then to lesser degrees for side and rear incoming RADAR. From the bottom and for incoming RADAR that might be perpendicular to any faceted surface of the F-117 while it is performing a banking manoeuvre, it may as well not be stealth at all. This meant that mission planning to maximise the effectiveness of the design, was critical for the use of the F-117. The actual magic of the F-117 is... that... _thing!?_ *_It_* *_flies!!!_* Advanced avionics which allow this inherently unstable airframe, to be stable and flown by a mere human, is the real magic.
No matter what or when an aircraft in the US military is retired they are usually put in near ready storage for sometimes decades and stored at Davis Montham AFB. Then at some point when they are deemed no longer needed then they’re scrapped
777-300ER, at max landing weight and using max braking, under ISA conditions, should stop within 1600m. Just goes to show how effective full reverse and maximum braking action is.
The F-117 formation flying is surely captured from a video game? It looks like the same game as some of those flight clips that have been on RUclips shorts recently.

I'm not entirely sure, but my best guess it it's highly unlikely to have a windshear during takeoff as both radar and Tower would have warned the pilot before. I literally have never heard of it.
