This is a great list. I’m really looking forward to the reprint of Alpha Flight on October 24th. I’ve wanted that book for a long time but I refused to pay eBay prices for it. So glad it’s getting a re-release!

Yeah it's been a long time since that first came out, think it was 2017 when I got it, so definitely due for that reprint!

I think I’m gonna pick up mutant massacre. I love the X-men and I’ve read new X-men, astonishing and hox pox but want to try something earlier. Older comics are hit or miss with me since I was born in 2001 so some 80s feels too dated but we’ll see

Appreciate you dropping another video. You got some gems mate. Not sure if I watched your Byrne Namor review, but I might have to get that down the road. Definitely excited to get the reprinted edition of Alpha Flight. I know Byrne is on record saying he didn't working on that title, but I've always thought it's been an underrated hallmark for Marvel. Will you be getting the Captain America omnibus by Mark Greunwald next year? That Cap/Wolverine cover looks niccccceeeeee.

Not sure about that Cap book yet, I'm still trying to plan which books I'm getting over the next few months as sadly can't get all the ones I'd like!

Is there anyone for the Marvel side of things that is similar to Geoff Johns. I’ve discovered my taste in comics usually to being great artwork and letting that speak for itself, good stories ofc, and not too much dialogue. Just recently started collecting.

Welcome to the community man! I started collecting last year, and it’s an awesome community. Personally Geoff Johns is my favorite DC writer and an equivalent to him doesn’t rly exist. But there some writers that are close like Peter David, Brian Bendis, Jason Aaron, and Donny Cates’ Venom is fantastic. Most of their work is very easy to follow with long and epic stories similar to Geoff Johns. I’d recommend the Venomnibus by Cates, Incredible Hulk By David, Spiderman 2099 By David, Thor By Aaron, Ultimate Spiderman By Bendis, Miles Morales By Bendis

I'd have to agree with all these recommendations! One of Geoff Johns' strengths is how accessible his stories usually are for new readers as well as longtime fans, and Bendis' writing on Ultimate Spider-Man in particular definitely matches that style so would probably be my top recommendation

No, not one specifically collecting just his work on Nick Fury and other things anyway
