  • Atlas Adjustment & Atlas Correction ⚡ Best Exercises for Neck Pain & Atlas Pain
If you are suffering from headaches, migraines, neck pain, dizziness, tinnitus, or back pain... Then the cause could be that your atlas vertebra is not properly aligned.
Misalignment of the atlas vertebra can lead to several ailments, as mentioned above.
An atlas correction is often necessary to get everything back on track.
The main cause for pain that is caused by an atlas misalignment, are tightened muscles and clogged fascia. This might be e.g. due to too much work in front of a computer. This leads to long periods of time where the head is always pushed forward and this creates tension in the neck and shoulder area. The atlas is repeatedly pulled into an unnatural position and thus no longer sits symmetrically in its intended position.
This is where the atlas adjustment / atlas correction comes into play! So much is said and assumed about atlas correction / atlas misalignment / atlas adjustment. But as already pointed out above, a large number of small muscles, ligaments, and fasciae are attached to the atlas vertebra - often the neck musculature becomes hard and tense, pulling on the atlas, which thus slips a little. So if you want to get rid of atlas pain, you need to get rid of the tension!
Pain Specialist Roland Liebscher-Bracht shows you different atlas adjustment / atlas correction exercises to relax these tensed muscles.
Through these atlas adjustment exercises, the neck region around the atlas is cleared and opened again. Everything gets well supplied with blood again and the tension that caused this atlas misalignment is significantly reduced. Now the atlas can bring itself back into the correct position.
Do these atlas correction exercises regularly 6 times a week - at least at the beginning, and see how they can help you with your atlas pain / neck pain!
If this video helped you, we would be very happy if you subscribe to our channel so that you will receive even more videos showing you how to get rid of your pain!

I put my atlas out of place weightlifting 9 years ago. I have had a fainting feeling and been unable to drive my car. I have had my atlas adjusted hundreds of times by chiropractor. I have been your exercises for 3 weeks . My fainting feeling has gone and I have been able to drive my car again. Thank You for this Miracle Healing

@@michaelparker6766 It took about 3 weeks to feel a big difference. I did these stretches about 5 times a week. Several months later I do the stretches 2 times a week. I am not cured 100% but my quality of life has definitely improved. Good luck to all

PHENOMENAL!!!! BRAVO! THANK YOU SO MUCH! What a blessing to be able to take care of my atlas at home! BETTER THAN ANY ADJUSTMENT I HAVE GOTTEN! My SCM spasms, TMJ and tinnitus are NOTHING like they were. THIS IS AMAZING! God bless you! Praying others suffering with tight "unreachable" pains find these stretches too.

Thank you very much for sharing your videos. I did the jaw one and this neck one, and the way that you explain the relationship between the bones, and muscle, trigger points - and the importance of what is needed to help fix issues is so good. Understanding that we don;t open our jaws fully, and carry tension this area, which means we really need to open up and extend the muscles, or, that we need to stretch out our neck muscles in a particular way so that the atlas can reposition and align itself, makes to much sense. Many thanks for the careful explanation and techniques to help ease pain.

Ok I have learned so much watching this. Partner and I are experiencing a lot of issues due to neck tension. Symptoms vary between balance issues, hard to focus think, and concentrate, and tinnitus (symptoms between partner and I) . Its quite literally been horrid these past four years. I believe it all happened when we both went through a traumatic period.
Of course, its linked to bad posture as well as a lot of stress/tension. Both of us are attending chiropractic treatment but are also looking into deep tissue/sports massage.
Not to mention doing exercises at home.

      Hi there 🙂
Thanks for sharing your experience with us! We're sorry to hear that you've been suffering from a stiff neck and discomfort for so many years. 😞 Hence, it's great that you've found and tried our exercises that can help relieve your pain and treat the actual root of it. 🙌🙂 Although our exercises can be tough and painful, this is necessary for them to be effective and a sign that they actually work. 💪
Just remember to go slow and steady, and always aim to reach no further than a nine on your personal pain scale from 1 to 10. A ten is just too painful and you have to tense up, but a nine is an intense pain that still allows you to breathe calmly. Remembering this pain scale ensures that these exercises are performed effectively and correctly, but you're not harming your body. 🙂 This is also explained in our five pillars of practice at the end of this article that you should give a read! 👉 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-atlas Make sure to practise daily for at least two minutes for real results. You should notice a big difference soon and it will a bit easier for you every time you repeat them. Please keep us updated on how you get on and how you feel!
      Best wishes,
      Hannah from Liebscher & Bracht

Wow, this is amazing. I knew I had out-lasted my ordinary prescribed stretches years ago, and needed more. The chiropractor fixed the car accident subluxation years ago, but whenever I used "the wrong pillow", I'd get annoying clicks in my upper neck. This much more vigorous chiropractic stretch really helped. I look forward to seeing if tinnitus and internal/external ear pain is reduced.

I was suffering post concussion syndrome tinnitus anxiety headaches for 9 months and finally found a NUCCA chiropractor who is helping a lot. Been 9 weeks but my symptoms came back quite a bit after accidently catching a thin branch while walking under a tree that caused my head to jerk back... but not too quickly. Anyway this set me back about a week and a half and I would be wary of pushing yourself to a level 8 pain in stretching like this. Maybe if you can't afford a professional give it a shot but obviously stop after a few days if it gets worse. Most upper cervical chiropractors say yoga type stretching is great to do and it helps me as well but you have to let your alignment hold for real healing and to me this stuff is risky.

    • @Liebscher.Bracht_EN

      Hi Wes! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your experience and story with us! We're sorry to hear that your symptoms came back after they had already improved a lot. 😞 But we hope that you will still soon be able to live a pain-free and healthy life! 🙏 And don't worry regarding our stretches: If you remember our pain scale, this will ensure that our exercises are performed correctly and you're not harming your body or worsening your pain. 🙂 Just remember to go slow and steady, and always aim to reach a eight or nine on your personal pain scale from 1 to 10, where a ten is just too painful and you have to tense up, but a nine is an intense pain that still allows you to breathe calmly. 🙂 It's also important that you don't compare this scale with other common pain scales! ☝
Have you already tried our simple and effective exercises? You could them regularly, along with your chiropractor sessions, and help yourself against your pain, so you can get rid of your pain faster and more effectively. 🙌🙂 Please let us know how you get on. We'd love to know!

Nov 27th (2 weeks ago today) to had an sudden onset of hearing loss and LOUD tinnitus in my R ear (only). About a week earlier I had neck pain in the atlas area and along the right side of my neck. I believe this is related as during July 2021 I had a similar incredible neck pain with tinnitus. About 2 months later I had a major disc hernation that went into my foraminal opening along my C6-C7. I had foraminotomy/discectomy surgery Dec 2021 and the tinnitus and hearing loss went away when I woke up (as well as regain of strength and tingling went away).

I went to chiropractors for 25+ years until nine of them would "adjust" my cervical spine any longer. I have cervical degenerative disc disease, arthritis, and facet Joint syndrome. I've had acupuncture, PT doing many different stretches and exercises, spinal injections, and massage... none of which have helped rid me of this severe pain. I was told 8 years ago that I should have artificial disc replacement surgery. I wish I could come see you. I am at a loss of who to see or where to go anymore, as I lose more quality of life as I age. I eat an animal based diet now (3 years) after being a vegetarian many years, no processed food, sugar, alcohol or seed oils. I stay as active as I can manage with light weights, vibration and use multiple devices to keep me halfway mobile. I am 5'5" and weigh 120lbs and am 67yo. Can you give me any suggestions other than to keep doing what I'm doing?
Thank you for sharing your expertise and explaining your technique so precisely. I'm following you, so perhaps I will gather some more tips.

    • @Liebscher.Bracht_EN
      @Liebscher.Bracht_EN  2 года назад +1

      Hi Lisbeth! 🙂
      Thanks for your question!
Although we can't promise any success, our exercises have already helped many people with their atlas problems and upper cervical instability. 🙏🙂 So by exercising regularly you could treat the actual cause of your problems, release any built up tension in your cervical spine, and avoid surgery. 💪 We've found that the instability results from too much tension in your neck muscles and fasciae, moving and pulling your vertebrae into unnatural positions. Have you ever heard of Atlas problems causing or worsening Middle Ear Myoclonus (spasms)? I have suffered badly for 5 months in my right ear and no treatment has given relief. A chiropractor adjusted my C1 with a standard adjustment (left side) and within 2 hours my spasms reduced to almost nothing and the positive effects have lasted over a week. I am planning further chiro treatments but have you seen any connection between Atlas and MEM? Thinking these exercises will help as I have vulture neck from my home office set up (since improved the set up) which has given me some stiffness.

      Hi Larry!
Thanks for getting in touch! Honestly, we haven't heard of any connection between atlas vertebra problems and MEM so far. But apparently, there seems to be one, as it helped reduce your spasm after adjusting your atlas. 🙂 We've put together everything we know about atlas correction, the causes of a misaligned atlas, the several symptoms that can result from, and the best treatment options in this article which might be interesting for you to read. 👉🙂 lie-br.com/yt-cm3-atlascorrection
Give our exercises a try and let us know how you got on! We hope that they'll help you, so you don't need any further chiro treatments, but you're able to treat yourself effectively at home. 💪🙂

Wow! I tried this and I had amazing effects. I felt how blood circulation is much better in my whole body. Also some kind of refreshment. I am practicing it now regularly but the best effect I had after first time. For how long I have to practice this? Is it really possible to get atlas back to the right position with this exercise?

Stretching and strengthening the right way goes together. Im guessing stretching the neck should be done every now and then since modern lifestyle keep messing us up.
But yeah, think of strengthening as well

I jave SI joint issues and when they go out of place I just maintain my exercises and stretch extra and they end up realigning themselves.

      Hi Stacy!
Thank you for getting in touch. 🙏🙂 We're sorry to hear that you have trouble with your cervical spine. 😞 Unfortunately, we cannot and must not give you any medical advice on your individual case from a distance, as we are not able to assess it properly, only based on your description. Please see a doctor and get yourself checked out if you're safe to do these exercises that have been proven to be very effective for pain relief. If your doctor gives you the all clear, we recommend you to keep doing our exercises that can also help to strengthen your instability and muscles. 💪🙂
Just remember to hold each stretch for at least 2 minutes, practise daily for the best results and always use your personal pain scale from one to ten as a guide when pressing, rolling, or performing stretches. You will get the best results if you always work at a level eight or nine meaning you feel intense pain, but you can still breathe calmly during the exercise and do not have to tense up. 💪🙂
Please get back to us, we'd love to hear how you got on! 🤗
      All the best,
      Hannah from Liebscher & Bracht

Can a bad neck or atlas give heavy head feelings and neurological problems?

Unbelievably crazy. You can't figure out which direction to pull the head down toward. I can't believe a good teacher wouldn't say which direction you're pulling the head down toward.
