"Hope" is a great opening, but for a first contact, "We Are" or "We Go" would be more suitable, as it contains all the spirit and essence of adventure that One Piece really has. "Hope" is already a little more mature, because it explores a more complex phase of the anime. If it was "We Are" or "We Go", he would almost certainly be a great first contact. With all due respect, this is my opinion.

Hey Nick! Now that you're into AoT and hard rock intros, definitely give the "Parasyte - The Maxim"-opening a watch. This show would also be perfect for you. An alien parasite invasion which turns many humans into monsters, only the protagonist is seemingly immune to his parasite and can control it to get rid of all the fricking aliens. Then I would recommend to make a little reaction to the two "Violet Evergarden CM"s. Guaranteed eye-gasm. I promise 😌 Keep up what you're doing, you're amazing to watch and lighten up everyone's days!
When it comes to "japanese guitars" I'd direct you towards "Miyavi". He's probably the single most famous japanese guitarist atm and his style is so unique you can often tell it's him just by the way he plays the guitar.

I think you would really like the op to "Deadman Wonderland", "One Reason" it seems like it is right up your ally. I'm also going to throw out Fly High (op 4 to Haikyuu), but I'm a little biased and really enjoy that anime. "Lost in Paradise" from Jujutsu Kaisen is also really good (it's an ending instead of an op but still really good). Nick, I have to tell you: Kakegurui is a LOT more than meets the eye. It's actually NOT the kind of sexual anime you were talking about (though obviously it doesn't shy away from that either). It's about gambling, and is actually set in a school where gambling is the main way of gaining status and success. That's why the opening theme shows wild desire and passion; it's actually talking about human greed and self destruction. All of the food in the opening shows you that idea of needing to "consume." By taking that "lust" of greed present in gambling and presenting it like this, it shows you just how much the characters feel like they're not in control, being taken over by their addictions. It is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I would absolutely recommend it if you can handle it. It might be a little bit much to jump into right now since you JUST started watching anime, but you should give it a shot sometime! I was really impressed by it! Some things to watch until then that are just as good or better: -Death Note (seriously, watch Death Note, like right now) -Death Parade (Great to start with, only 12 episodes) -Full Metal Alchemist -Psycho Pass -Future Diary (There's a lot more but I think you would like these, based on what you've reacted to so far.)
I really disliked kakeguri, for the particular reason they didn’t handle the gambling well at all. “Kaiji” is the only gambling anime to keep me on the edge of my seat, not knowing the main character will win the gamble or not. You never know if he will win in kaiji

You should really listen to Given’s Fuyu no Hanashi, it’s a masterpiece istg. There is also all the Haikyuu!! openings, they’re all so damn amazing. One Piece’s 23rd opening, Dreaming On, is also pretty amazing, definitely recommend it.
The one who sung One Piece op is Namie Amuro, she's a legend, she's an amazing performer and basically a diva. She's already retired tho, but her stuff are still so relevant. The MHA one was sung by Kenshi Yonezu, he probably the biggest musical artist in Japan rn. And Your Lie in April op was sung by Goose House, they're the one who started the J-music cover trend in RUclips, they're inactive now, but if you search their channel they have TONS of amazing cover of another j-artist. Ik you guys came for the anime, but if you're into music I recommend to check out these artists. Honestly, j-music is like a heaven to me, because they're full of stories and they have so many kind of musical community, its always so fun to dive in.
Kakegurui is actually a really interesting anime, I discovered it last year. Whether you wanna do a reaction to it or not is up to you (personally I would love if you did), but I'd totally recommend watching the series!

I wouldn't recommend it especially for him as he's just getting started with anime. Could be too much. I recommend listening to more music from the artist who did the My Hero Academia opening. His name is Kenshi Yonezu and he dominates the Japanese top 100 songs. Some of my favorites are Lemon, Orion (which is the ending for a show called March Comes in Like a Lion), Pale Blue, Loser, Uchiagehanabi (from an anime movie called Fireworks), and Spirits of the Sea. All of his songs are great though!!

"Hope" is a great opening, but for a first contact, "We Are" or "We Go" would be more suitable, as it contains all the spirit and essence of adventure that One Piece really has. "Hope" is already a little more mature, because it explores a more complex phase of the anime. If it was "We Are" or "We Go", he would almost certainly be a great first contact. With all due respect, this is my opinion.

I'm really happy that you enjoyed the op to "Your Lie in April", I would recommend watching it, it's a great story, it's only 22 episodes long (which is short for some anime), even if you don't react to it on your channel, give it a watch. I think you would really like the op to "Deadman Wonderland", "One Reason" it seems like it is right up your ally. I'm also going to throw out Fly High (op 4 to Haikyuu), but I'm a little biased and really enjoy that anime. "Lost in Paradise" from Jujutsu Kaisen is also really good (it's an ending instead of an op but still really good). Nick, I have to tell you: Kakegurui is a LOT more than meets the eye. It's actually NOT the kind of sexual anime you were talking about (though obviously it doesn't shy away from that either). It's about gambling, and is actually set in a school where gambling is the main way of gaining status and success.
That's why the opening theme shows wild desire and passion; it's actually talking about human greed and self destruction. All of the food in the opening shows you that idea of needing to "consume." By taking that "lust" of greed present in gambling and presenting it like this, it shows you just how much the characters feel like they're not in control, being taken over by their addictions.
It is definitely not for the faint of heart, but I would absolutely recommend it if you can handle it. It might be a little bit much to jump into right now since you JUST started watching anime, but you should give it a shot sometime! I was really impressed by it!
Some things to watch until then that are just as good or better:
-Death Note (seriously, watch Death Note, like right now)
-Death Parade (Great to start with, only 12 episodes)
-Full Metal Alchemist

I really disliked kakeguri, for the particular reason they didn’t handle the gambling well at all. “Kaiji” is the only gambling anime to keep me on the edge of my seat, not knowing the main character will win the gamble or not. You never know if he will win in kaiji

The one who sung One Piece op is Namie Amuro, she's a legend, she's an amazing performer and basically a diva. She's already retired tho, but her stuff are still so relevant. The MHA one was sung by Kenshi Yonezu, he probably the biggest musical artist in Japan rn. And Your Lie in April op was sung by Goose House, they're the one who started the J-music cover trend in RUclips, they're inactive now, but if you search their channel they have TONS of amazing cover of another j-artist. Ik you guys came for the anime, but if you're into music I recommend to check out these artists. Honestly, j-music is like a heaven to me, because they're full of stories and they have so many kind of musical community, its always so fun to dive in.

I recommend listening to more music from the artist who did the My Hero Academia opening. His name is Kenshi Yonezu and he dominates the Japanese top 100 songs. Some of my favorites are Lemon, Orion (which is the ending for a show called March Comes in Like a Lion), Pale Blue, Loser, Uchiagehanabi (from an anime movie called Fireworks), and Spirits of the Sea. All of his songs are great though!!
Lemon also from a TV series (Unnatural) and I really love that show!!!!

Man, I can't believe this guy hasn't noticed the fact that the bass players are actually wild af in Japanese songs. Bass lines are so much more in depth in jpop/jrock than so much of what we have in western civilization.

Yo consider reacting to the Banana Fish openings and endings, there are 2 of each and the music is super good in my opinion. It would also be interesting to see of you have any predictions about what the show is about from the visuals and words. These songs forever have a spot on my emotional and vibe playlists.
