RIP Johnny Hardwick and Brittany Murphy :( They brought so much to this show and their characters, it's great to see just how much the cast impacted their characters and writing like Peggy.
Brittany Murphy added sweetness and depth that kept satire grounded and real. Not just in king of the hill. Drop Dead Gorgeous is a good example too. Dunno what to say about her death, but who she was when she was living is pretty great. Maybe losing the chance to reciprocate that warmth is why her death hurts so acutely for fans. Never got the chance to say thanks.
Same miss it, Especially bill lol in the flooded arlen episode of the shelters supplies of those bill chose to play twinkle little star xd from the tune of the emergency phone battery powered
5jerry1 Not really lol. Everyone dies, it’s just a coincidence. The tragic thing is she was the youngest and died first. She was a very underrated actress and a great singer and VA. What’s really sad to me is she seems to be forgotten nowadays.
Just started watching the show last year. I got to admit I’m so in love with the characters, premise, and likely the animation. This was the best animated sitcom I have ever seen.
Watched my first episode of King of the Hill 3 days ago (I know, I’m ashamed), and I just finished season 2. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to see this masterpiece.
@@LS-bw7jt I remember watching reruns of it on FX when I was 8, before I discovered Adult Swim. Picked up the first season on DVD at FYE on my birthday when I was 11, when I became a super fan
King of the Hill showed here in Scotland in the late nineties. I loved it. They just seemed like real, believable people. I always remember when there was an episode about a tornado. The newscaster said something along the lines of 'if you live in the trailerpark and you haven't experienced the joy of lovemaking, now might be the time'😅
As someone who just started watching this show (shows like Family Guy put me off animation of this era for a long time) I can’t believe Fox cancelled this show and put on the awful Cleveland Show and kept pumping out Simpsons (used to be great) and Family Guy (always awful) episodes. They’ve made up for it a bit with Bob’s Burgers but KOTH was on another level. The worst KOTH episode is better than almost anything Fox has now.
Original family guy was ok (still pretty bad) but the new seasons are crap. The Simpsons is too busy working on improving the animation then they are being funny And don’t even remind me of the trash that was the Clevland show. If KOTH stayed on the air. It could have become as bad as all these shows
Man, I tell you h’what. This is one of the best animated shows ever created. I remember watching it when I was younger and my parents couldn’t get me away from the tv. They have all 13 seasons on Hulu now. Gets me reminiscing. They definitely need to bring it back.
I think we all love KOTH cause it is so authentic and we all know a Hank on the street , or a Peggy from work etc…. We have a Hank on our street who cuts the grass 6 days a week and shovels the snow before the snow falls. Whenever you feel sad or having a bad day.. you can come home and feel part of the neighborhood or alley way watching KOTH. Thanks Mike!!!!!
I love this show because its how i wish my life was. I wish i was like Hank. Im the total opposite and its depressing. King of the Hill is my comfort show. Always makes me feel good.
@@DragonLore520 dude yes! Oh my gosh that episode is so crazy I love that part when dale and that hanks “go too guy” try to get bunches of dogs so they can eat them “I’ll take the little ones on top rap em up!” That part is so funny lol
I feel like King Of The Hill was the unsung series of the 2000s and after that finished, Bob’s Burgers was the next show that was actually genuinely funny.
Still remember watching first episode ever as it aired one Sunday evening, back in the day. I guess I must have been 9-10 years old, my dad and I had been playing quake 2 in the basement, shortly before. We would never miss an episode of the simpsons, but figured we'd check out that new mike judge show, King of the hill, as it came on right before(or after?.. can't remember anymore) still vividly remember sitting there eating dinner(burgers) watching it.. we never missed a single episode after that. Sunday nights back in the day we're awesome.
I grew up in a super strict house where we had a lot of blocked channels so i never got the joy of this show as a child. But better late than never. I fell in love with it and watch it on repeat now ❤❤
I have been watching this show since it first came out. I absolutely love love love it. There’s something about Hank Hill that always puts me in a good mood! I adore him❤
The only show that I will watch over a 100 times and I'm still going to watch it tonight. My addiction will stop when my heart does I've watched this show growing up on fox and adult swim, and watching it for the past 6 years on hulu on repeat. This show will never die for me!
Bring it back, please!!! This was the icon of my childhood. Couldn't help but get hooked when it's always on the TV. It's the only reason I got hooked on football. Came on right after it, I'd watch the entire game, just to watch this. That and I never had control of the remote.

I watched the first season of GoT and I hated it. They killed Sean Bean in the show, bunch of bullshit.
At least KOTH had a far better ending than GOT did.
Never watched GOT, but I've seen every episode of KOTH at lleast 3 times or more. Haha
I heard someone describe Mike Judge's speaking voice as a "Sophisticated Butt-Head" and it's spot on.
