Just bought the black wired one for less than 40 bucks (converted from the pricings of the store I bought it) - absolutely love it with the whole package ^^
Overall good mouse but the scroll wheel broke after 2 months. When i would scroll up, sometimes the page would scroll down and when i would scroll down, sometimes it would go up. From what i read on the internet it seems to be a relatively common problem. Good thing i have 2 years warranty
top quality video, I would like to buy a mouse for around €30-€50, I am undecided between the Razer cobra and this one, which one do you recommend? I am afraid to go with the hyper x pulse fire haste 2 because I had a terrible experience with the first one: there was a specific point on the side that if clicked made the whole mouse creak, the app was very buggy and practically every month I had to set the dpi because my settings reset automatically, the left button after 2 weeks completely changed sensation and became noisier and I never liked skates, in fact I felt that they "raised" the mouse too much and did not distribute the weight well, I would have preferred larger and slightly thinner skates. Finally after a year of use the sensor stopped working and now I am without a mouse (despite my negative experience I never changed it because it was a gift from a friend and it was still "decent"). Sorry for any errors in my english, I'm not a native speaker
Hey! The Haste 2 (wired) is still a great mouse, but there are better options on the market now. The Wired Pulsar X2H & X2V2 are solid options, but the best wired mouse out there right now is the OP1 8k. It's double the price of the Haste 2 but it's the best you can get right now. If you want to learn more about it I covered it a few months ago!
@@mel0nFPS all three are out of my budget, I need a mouse between 30 and 50 euros. I am undecided between the Razer cobra (50€), the haste 2 (40€), the glorious model o (50€) and the attack Shark X3 (50€), what do you recommend?
@@Christian_7777-d9n Hey! In that case go for the Haste 2 wired. The corba is quite bad, I'd avoid glorious at all costs and I've heard good things about the shark mouse but I haven't used it myself.
Hi there melon! I am serious about getting my hands on this mouse so if you would answer these questions for me, that would be much appreciated. I would like to know the default polling rate, and what you think of the new hyperx switches compared to the old ttc gold ones. Thank you very much, you are severely underrated, and I look foward to seeing more mouse reviews from you.
Hey! The switches on the Haste2 are much better than the ones on the OG haste. I don't remember what poling rate the mouse defaults too but you can just adjust it to whatever you want via the software.
Hi! So a lot of the "mainstream" reviews only reviewed the wireless version of the Haste 2, which much like its predecessor the Haste 1 Wireless has some click-latency issues. The wired version of the Haste 2 doesn't have any issues with click latency and it also has 2k - 8k polling (the wireless doesn't it only has 1k polling) AND it's cheaper! In terms of personal use I love the clicks on the Haste 2, they feel snappy and really responsive and I haven't had any issues with latency or any other issues with the Haste 2. Hope that helps!
I'm still rocking the original haste wired and have been considering either the DA v3 or the Haste 2 wired for the 8k. I find that on my original haste I get stuck in between scroll steps in game, and it'll swap weapons and mess me up, is the the new scroll encoder tighter/more defined. Which would you recommend for a relaxed palm/fingertip grip, which has the better scroll wheel?
Hey! Unfortunately I don’t have a haste 1 I can use to compare the scroll wheels between the OG haste & the haste 2. That said though I’d pick the haste 2 over the DAV3 due to your grip style & because the polling implementation on the Haste 2 felt MUCH better than that on the DAV3. I also prefer the scroll wheel on the Haste 2 over the DAV3 but I don’t know how it stacks up against the Haste 1 sadly. Hope this helps! Edit: I just check the scroll wheeles on the Haste 2 and the DAV3, funny enough the Haste 2 has a "harder" more controllable scroll than the DAV3 does.
i have the wireless one and i plugged the wireless receiver in and the mouse says its on and i can stop and play ur vid but when i try to move the cursor does not move idk what to do?
I am very excited about trying this mouse out! I was mostly worried about the scroll wheel, with my current scroll wheel going up too fast results in a down input, and vice versa, and I hate that. Have you or anybody experienced anything like this on the haste 2?
The scroll wheel on the haste 2 is a lighter wheel but it has pretty pronounced scroll points so it's very difficult to accidentally cause the wheel to scroll!
@@mel0nFPS The game I am talking about is Apex Legends and if you know what I am talking about, which is tap strafing, then thats great. But it doesnt really seem that you do. So I bought the wired one, and I've noticed a weird issue. If the HyperX ingenuity utility is not running in the background the mouse will stutter after switching the DPI button. If the software is running the issue does not happen. This is disappointing because the mouse having onboard memory is a huge selling point for me. I hate having to keep a utility running just to use a mouse. Can anyone else verify this issue on their Haste 2 wired? Wondering if I have a defective issue. HyperX support was no help. They did not answer if the issue was just my copy, which makes me think it's a firmware issue that will be present in all mice-not just mine.
Hey! A few of the first batch of the haste 2 have faulty memory-controllers on them which cause a variety of issue like you described (especially at high polling rate). I had a similar issue on my first unit and I exchanged mine and my 2nd unit works perfectly! I exchanged my unit via amazon since it was within the return period but if yours happens to be outside of the return window the haste 2 does come with a 2yr warranty via HyperX you can always reach out to them too!
